Cat’s Menace
This game was a lot of fun to play in front of my stream audience, however playing it by myself without friends would have been a rather miserable experience, I’m afraid. The game has no save or checkpoint system, so when you have a Game Over, you have to start the entire game over from the beginning. The game operates by having you assign a cat to a task and making choices to decide whether the cats succeed or fail in the mission. The choices have no logic behind them, so it’s a coin flip in deciding if you lose the cat you assigned or not. Also, it doesn’t seem to matter which cats you assign to the mission. They’re essentially just very cute life counters.

So, I’m going to be honest and say, I LOVE CATS…
Now, when I then looked at the “Similar to games you’ve played: The Witcher 3 and Portal 2” I was ready for this game to BLOW. MY. MIND.
Spoiler alert: It did not…
The other reviews are spot on:
-
English translation is bad, even to the point where some things doesn’t make sense
-
It’s game over pretty easily and you have no idea what would be the right answer to the events you’re prompted with
-
When you get a game over, you start over from the beginning - so it becomes a pattern of blindly guessing what’s right and having to remember every right answer to get further in the game. Which gets boring and annoying very fast.

Atom
This game is cool. You can make the hydrogen do some wild things visually. Hydrogen is interesting since (I think) all of our other atoms come from hydrogen, don’t quote me on that.
For .99, it’s certainly worth it.
I hope the author makes more content like this.

Not gonna lie, this game is stupid at the moment. That being said, I’m glad I bought it; it was truly fun to mess around with, and although the novelty has worn off, it was nice. I really hope more is added in the near future. I would recommend this game but only because I thought it was fun for the few minutes I played it. A little tour of the controls would be nice, and it would be good if one could change the quality of the graphics and/or simulation for different PCs to properly run it at whatever they want/need. This game could be a lot of fun if it were to take a look at other sandbox-type simulation games, such as universe sandbox. The variety of different controls with explanations detailed enough that you know what you’re doing when you’re doing it. Overall, I’d say the only reason I had fun playing this was my ADHD deciding to hyperfixate on this for the past little bit. Keep working on this game and it could become something greater

Horror Girl Puzzle
It actually seems that among the 100-achievements, profile-limited games that are coming out these months on Steam there are some of them worth the while. I mean, I see every week a ton of “everything + puzzle” game or similar titles and of course most of them are asset flips and little else.
Developer Anatoliy Loginovskikh made a great effort in his drawing style here and he shows us his best horror-themed girls' operas, that of course compose the base of this puzzle game.
We will in fact be asked to solve puzzles through various mechanics, mainly by dragging and rotating the various pieces. And we will compose some really beautiful artworks, all made specifically for this game.

- ### Morlan’s shorts:
No more and no less weird than the other games from this developer. At first it’s a simple twist-puzzle but later there are..elements added. The nude-tentacle-girl-art is quite well done and I liked it and the little other puzzles are fun. It’s a very very short game though so you may want to pick it up on sale.
Don’t waste more time reading lengthy reviews.. time is of the essence!

Idle Slayer
This game has a ton of potential, but it self-sabotages through many poor choices. First of all ‘Idle’ in the game title is a complete falsehood. Playing idle is a tremendous amount slower than playing actively, the big cash and soul profit are tied to the ? boxes, which can only be gotten when jumping, which is impossible when playing idly. Also, the key and bonus stages ruin any auto clicker ideas you might have, since they take you out of the game and into a static screen. You might find you’ve been sitting auto clicking and making no progress on a bonus/chest stage. The portal mechanic is also extremely poorly done, you could find yourself completely unable to finish quests, which give huge upgrade rewards, if you accidentally port to a level that doesn’t have the quest enemies you need, and the portal cooldown at the beginning is 8 hours. You could be stuck without any quests being done for days until your level cycles around again. If some of the many flaws can be corrected, this would be a very interesting game. As is, I can’t recommend it.

I cannot recommend this game to anyone as of release 2.8.1 (late March 2021).
The developer has nerfed the progression too much that it is no longer enjoyable to grind. I’ve only been logging in to collect a couple things, but I do not feel compelled to actively play because currency acquisition is so slow.
Even before the patch, idle progression in this supposed idle game was awful. You could gain the equivalent currency playing the game for 10 minutes versus idling for an entire day. Now that the dev has slowed down active play even more, it all feels pretty meaningless.

Grass Cutters Academy - Idle Game
Just over 100 hours in. Most of it idle. I have got to what i guess is the end of the game. i can’t upgrade anymore and there is nothing left to do but continue to mow endless lawn. fun for a while but now just sit idle waiting for an update to something more exciting.
if you want something better look at leaf blower revolution.

Really? There’s an academy for this sort of thing?
Grass Cutters Academy - Idle Game appears to be inspired by another game by the name of Leaf Blower Revolution - Idle Game, both being idle games about yard work…only thing is that this game isn’t really all that idle and to get all the prestiges, you’ll be idling for approximately 200 hours.
You start off in an incredibly slow mower and can use points from clipping sections of yard to upgrade your speed, increase value of your clipping points, buy automatic mowers, increase speed of said mowers, etc. And while the auto mowers do the job for you…they aren’t really intelligent enough to seek out patches of grass as they just ricochet off the walls.

Portable Farm
i tested this game before it released and it is a great down-time waster. loading screen? farm time. boring section of a game? farm time. not time to farm? farm time. farm time is anytime. the seasons and soil qualities give it some extra depth, though isnt necessary to still enjoy. i do somewhat wish for some more, higher tiered goal, but i understand the lack of one for now. oh and i should also mention that this is a 3d overlay in vr, which is something i have never seen before, and the dev here has done a wonderful job, while also listening to the testers about what changes and additions to the farm should be made. if OVRtools is 12 bucks, then this should be considered a steal with the $5 price tag. also give the demo a shot if you are iffy on performance issues. that is why it is there, after all.

A very fun little overlay game to help pass time while playing other games.
You plant, grow and customise your farm with money from crops. You maintain your plots with multiple types of fertilisers and you just grind for more money. The money system seems balanced and well thought out. The seasons system gives more variety throughout the year.
I find myself spending more time in the farm tending to my garden than actually playing my games at times.
I can see that the developer really likes the work they do and it sure shows in the product!

Garbage. It’s a terrible game. It’s really bad. It crashed again and again. And I opened it again and again. It’s just a waste of my time. Although you can see the fascinating ocean, you can also see a variety of fish. But unfortunately you can do nothing except watching. So why don’t I go to see a real ocean documentary? I think it’s much funner than this game. I don’t think it’s a casual game because it doesn’t make me feel relaxed, it makes me feel irritable.

Anomalies
SUMMARY: A graphical toy to make weird, surreal spacescapes and the oddities that inhabit them, from playing with sliders to just randomziing items. On top of that, you get odd soundscapes that play along. A way to just mess around, or a way to create relaxing - or disturbing - backgrounds on your computer or tv display.
Anomalies is a graphical toy that some may call a glorified screen saver - fortunately it’s both!
Basically you can randomize or set a bunch of parameters, that then make surreal spacescapes that you can watch while strange music plays. Depending on your choices, you might watch stars circle by as you observe a nebula, be caught among strange particles, or hover in front of a bizarre tentacular space creature. Or a combination.

This is a really interesting piece of software. It is good to have around to either dip into casually or have a longer session. There can be some nice surprises. I just came up with a not very spectacular creation from the visual point of view, but it has a very nice ethereal sound. Tweaking parameters and hunting and rummaging are great fun. I have got some more choices of wallpaper too.

I can already see how much fun this little desktop companion will be. As of right now, the only problems I have are that using your own files will be a hassle as you have to put each photo/video/sound/text one by one, as well as sometimes my mouse bugs out when it grabs it. I’ll write again once I have 1k hours B)
I love this studio lol
