Really fun and challenging mini-game using some of the Epic Games Paragon Assets I’m familiar with - the bosses in levels 2 and 3 were particularly enjoyable to navigate around.

Looking forward to what comes next

Destroy the city as a P.O’d elephant?

Didn’t know I needed this, but I sure as heck did.

The games store page already sums up the gameplay quite well: 3min to score 300 points, people give 1pt while cars give 10. Level 2 and 3 have indestructible enemies to avoid while making your carnage quota.

The game isn’t overly difficult,I won with several retries in about half an hour.

Once you figure out where the cars are, it gets a lot easier.

Stomping around while people run screaming is very satisfying, although a nitpick is your hitbox,it seems to be just your feet that destroy things, while your tusks do nothing.

Lab Craft Survival

Lab Craft Survival

This is a difficult survival sandbox game that doesn’t hold your hand. If you like figuring things out yourself and discovering hidden game mechanics, you’ll enjoy this game. If you don’t have a high tolerance for failing though, you might find the game frustrating.

It’s definitely rough around the edges with several bugs and translation errors, and updates have been non-existent. If you’re looking for polish in a game, you won’t find it here, although overall I found it enjoyable.

Pre Release

As long as the game has not yet been released, videos will be published on my Youtube-Channel .

You can also join my Discord-Server to stay up to date, sometimes I am also looking for people to test new functions. Of course, you can also talk to like-minded people there and make new friends who might want to play with you.

Idea behind this game

The idea behind this game is that animals and plants only appear in their native biomes before humans have messed everything up, including species that have been extinct and exclusive, introduced new species by humans.

ATTENTION

This game was and is being developed by a single person.

Jurassic Fantasy

Jurassic Fantasy

I really enjoyed this game!

At first I completely missed that you could put points into your stats by clicking on them so I moved around at the lowest speed, attack and defense which, needless to say, didn’t go well at all.

However, once I figured out how to increase stats it became 100x more enjoyable!

I eagerly await Jurassic Fantasy II!

I’m really enjoying this game, but each time I play, the game ends up going to a black screen at some random point (typically ~10-20 minutes in) and it shows a picture of a sad computer. There’s no way to back out of that and return to the game. I wouldn’t mind so much if there was a way to save/not start over every time it happens. Any assistance would be appreciated!

4/22/21 Edit: I’m sorry, I really like the game, but I have to recommend against it at this point because it keeps crashing before I can finish it.

Something Strange in the Woods

Something Strange in the Woods

Something Strange in the Woods is a Unity asset flip from serial scam artists, INFINITE BRIDGE. In this case I’m not 100% sure which asset/game template they’ve ripped off, but I’m sure it is one. Why? Because they do this crap all the time. Here’s a list of the other ones they’ve done that I’ve seen so far:

The Kingdom of Gardenia

The Kingdom of Gardenia

This game is fast becoming my oppertunity for escapism every eveningafter my little one goes to bed! there are mysteries and puzzles to solve like the caves and the meadow along with gardening and landscaping similar to Garden Inc and Ranch Rush. I love all the different characters in the game and trying to figure out their likes and dislikes too alongside an intriguing story line in the game. I really enjoyed how to make different foods with different ingredients and the variety of plants and trees are so colourful and bright. I was really impressed in how fluid the main character moves around the various screens and interacts with different objects easily with really easy controls to use in the game. overall a really great game!

This game is so cute! It took me a little while to figure out what to do but once the visitors started arriving I really got into it. I enjoyed talking to them, plantign flowers and trees for them and cooking their favourite food, would definitely recommend to people who enjoy games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley.

9th Dawn III

9th Dawn III

9th Dawn III is a great hack-and-slash dungeon crawler/RPG with a lot of content. The game has a semi-open world concept with limited access to areas related to the main story. There is a predefined path to progress in the game, but the number of optional dungeons gives a lot of freedom. I enjoyed the storyline, even if it is a clichéd “save the world from evil” scenario.

You can definitely tell that the developers put a lot of attention to detail in this game. There is a huge amount of items, skills, monsters and general things you can do in the game. You can go fishing and make a meal out of your catch, or you can go mining and forge a new weapon etc.

Real player with 183.8 hrs in game

9th Dawn III is a 2D pixel take on a huge open world filled with smithing, jewelcrafting, alchemy, cooking, taming monsters, a card game along with the usual dungeon crawling and loot that are familiar for everyone. The animation and art for this game are it’s weakest points, which as an artist I hate saying. On the plus side, everything else is so damned good that you will get past the look of it pretty damned quickly. It is singularly my only “complaint” about this game, and even there the dark dreary textures that seem to blend into each other are vastly outweighed by amazingly implemented gameplay mechanics, a fun little story that doesn’t take itself too seriously, and a plethora of crafting minigames and card minigames that will keep you entertained for hours.

On My Own

On My Own

I wish the game would let me know that I should have some food prepared between biomes, before telling me I starved to death on my way to said biome and then deleting my save file of 3 hours. I also got really focused on finding foxes and forgot to eat. I had plenty of food, but then I “starved to death” and another save file of 5 hours was deleted. I understand it’s trying to be realistic, you should think of this intuitively, you should figure it out, etc. but forcing a complete restart after hours of tedious gathering and crafting just feels like a slap in the face.

just a garbage game.

Graphics 4/10 - kind of cute and retro.

Interface 1/10 - Feels like a bad phone port. it’s very clunky.

Music 2/10 - it gets unbelievably repeative hearing the same loop.

Guidance 3/10 - It doesn’t hold your hand. It pushes you from behind and laughs. then ignores you forever.

Saves 0/10 - Manual saves are overwritten by autosaves making M. Saves pointless.

Overall 2/10 - I’d return it if I bought it specifically. but it came in a bundle. I’ll check back in a month and edit this review if things improve. Right now? DO NOT BUY.

Project Hunter

Project Hunter

Although somewhat buggy, overall this was an enjoyable and addictive stealth/action game with some nice skill-based mechanics.

It was a pleasure to see your alien evolve from a small larva-like creature to a full-grown fire-breathing dragon.

The ending was a bit of rushed though - wish there was more to the story.

Real player with 6.2 hrs in game

For what it is, Project Hunter is a very solid go at making a stealth game playing in the Alien Franchise.

Story: virtually nonexistent. You are an alien specimen that escaped containment, and your goal is to kill all enemies and evolve. I was somewhat annoyed that the opening scrawl was unskippable, but that’s just a minor inconvenience.

Gameplay: Solid, but limited. If you are familiar with the Alien Franchise, you may be perplexed that you start off as a small generic grub rather than the signature facehugger. As a stealth game, your best approach is to always attack enemies from behind, which is a one-hit kill regardless of your form. No particular surprise.
