Beast Nature

Beast Nature

You have to fight your fears and solve a mystery of this area. We dont know what lives here aliens, ghosts, bigfoot or just some wild coyotes, when night comes something weird used to happen. Better find something more powerfull then your old shotgun cuz it is only the first location and first… Beast…

Anyway do not worry to much - there should be some stuff laying around, it had owner before but now I don’t think skeletons would mind you taking it.

And the most important, do not go out at night without a rifle or call a freind to carry one for you

The Deer

Very cool and very creepy game indeed! When I was recording I did encounter a couple of bugs, but nothing crazy. I love the fact that there are multiple endings so I’ll be sure to come back and find the rest! I’ve been waiting for this game to come out for about 2 months and can say it was pretty worth it.

For maximum terror, don’t go to bed the night before like I did! XD

Now to go take the trash down in the dark in an area that’s know to have a lot of deer. Weeee!!!

Played through this game not knowing what to expect as I’m no horror fanatic. That being said this is a well made game, especially for the price. Its suspenseful and what storyline that is there is very interesting so props to the devs for making this, I’d definitely recommend playing through this as there are four different endings. Keep in mind there is no save system so once you hit “begin” you’re in it until you’re done. I currently only have the second ending.

I have an 18 minute playthrough to the 2nd ending here, it does have commentary and it spoils so if thats not your thing don’t click it and try yourself!

okay so first off I’m going to start by saying I’m glad i got this for 1.99

been playing this with my two friends and here is my experience

All the music in the menu is taken from labyrinthe, even the voice of the duck in the tutorial is taken from labyrinthe

The ghost models are from phasmophobia,

I chose to play hotel with my friends, only i was in the hotel while they were floating round my screen and they were in a totally different map, the EMF reader don’t seem to work nor does the thermometer, there is no clear indication as to whether or not your friend is ready or not ready when you click the ready button.

I’ve been through about 7 floors so far. It starts off pretty simple to get you used to the game, but they get a little bit harder each time. The puzzles are well thought out and I’m actually a little afraid for them to get harder lol. The game runs extremely smooth, not glitchy at all and is actually a ton of fun. There’s some minor jump scares when you die, but for the most part you are figuring out puzzles. It’s so much fun I decided to do a YT series on this and I can’t wait to finish it. Definitely worth trying out for the price.

Shadows Peak

It’s scary. It really is. Not so much the jump scares kinda stuff, but more… the running of foot steps across the ground toward you. Tip-toeing through tall grass hoping you step in a bear trap. Sprinting along and hearing the hiss of a snake. And other things I won’t give away!

The game is roughly divided into two parts. The first is maybe a bit better than the second, but don’t listen to the reviews that say the last part is horrible. It definitely is not. There’s nothing that significantly stands out that says “the dev put more time/effort into the first part.”

As some of you may know as much as I love playing games on my PC I also have quite a lot of time for the console exclusive titles. One of my favorite games of 2015 was Supermassive Games’ Until Dawn. Ainslie and I played the shit out of that game. It hooked both of us together and we sat on her couch playing it for many many hours and made a lot of shared decisions to see how our playthrough would advance. It was one of the best gaming experiences the two of us have shared together. I was not expecting to find another horror game that would be comparable to that experience wise for a long time. That’s why when I found myself fortunate enough to play Andrii Vintsevych’s Shadows Peak I was more than a little bit surprised and deeply absorbed in its early access game play.

A fun new early access game that currently has 4 different puzzles of increasing difficulty. Excited for the levels that will be progressively releasing over time that will all have their own levels of difficulty. There are some bugs but the game is very new and the devs are good at repairing the bugs quick, especially if you report any bugs directly. Overall I really enjoy the aesthetic and can’t wait to see what it will be like further into development.

Growing game with a fun premise. Devs are very open to communication and work on bugs immediately. Helped test and watched every issue I reported, those that hindered game play be treated as high priority.

Laggy game needs fixing.

It’s like The big game HUnter Acrade game, you dont move, you just shoot.

Has a timer and good enough gfx.

needs reworking and better menu, right now it doesn’t even have an exit option.

I wouldn’t exactly call this a “Hardcore action killing adventure” like the description says.

Everything is over simplified. Level starts, animals are there, shoot, end of level.

Physics are bad. The menu looks like it was sketched up and thrown together in 5 minutes.

And why is there a button on the menu that opens the discussions tab on Steam?

A GENERIC GAME AND NEED SOME WORK DONE ON IT BUT THIS GAME HAS HIDDEN GOLDEN FEATURES IN IT’S GAME PLAY IDEA’s: EXCELLENT GAME EVEN WITH ISSUE:

Too bad for it sure has a lot of potential but for 3.99 that’s not a bad deal if you do all the settings needed to even play it.

Add on: I had to do quite a bit of resetting on my mouse and graphic settings to low but now i can play this game. To give this developer credit he does give you a few pointers on the game play on how the game works this was enough to make this game a lot more fun to play but i still stand by the issue of how it lags when you aim its heard to even shot it needs to be a lot smoother but it works very well on low graphic settings. I am now surviving now do to i use hills and just my bow shoot an run is the key up hills to lose them and around big trees. You seem to lose them this way the raptors, It’s a good game once you do all the setting right and use hit and run to survive. It still seems to be a little generic or somewhat basic but overall it is fun.

Overall feel: If you have a soft spot for the jungle-ish tropical-island feel with modern set piece ruins adding a dose of mystery, like I do, this game could be interesting. It reminded me of the awe I felt when first playing the Far Cry demo back then (fun fact: the original Far Cry was intended to be a dino hunter game initially). Admittedly the game is a lot simpler, since after all this was made by only one person.

Survival: Your main goal is not to die from hunger, so hunting dinos for meat, is a central point. You have to fry your meat at campfires that you can pretty much set up at any point. This satiates your hunger, increases your health, crafts a few arrows (for your crossbow) and most importantly also saves your game progress. So camping is essential. Avoiding getting eaten by the dinos would also be essential. And a handful of weapons that you find along the way should help with that. I am not so sure about the potential stealth aspect of avoiding dino encounters, since I pretty much killed everything in my path.
