Demon’s Residence
One golden Rule i took für myself over all the Years playing Games is: Expect the Unexpected.
I still remember me, playing the first time RESIDENT EVIL going through the Floor when these damn Dogs crashed out of nowhere through the Windows.
That was my biggest Scarejump. That Game made Scarejumps very popular.
Over the Years there were many Games using Scarejumps and scary environments. Many MANY Games. From High Class Games to little Casual Games.
And this Game here is one little casual Game.

Not a bad little horror game for the cost. I generally hate games that rely on jump-scares but they were spread out enough here that it wasn’t too bad. A few little bugs but nothing crazy.

Note to Dev: At the 2:55 point in my video you can see where I got stuck in a room cause I closed a door and then couldn’t re-open it. Even loading from save the door stayed closed and I had to start over. Also at 7:55 you can see where I fell through the floor and died.

Train 113
Train 113 is a first-person horror game in which you play a passenger who wakes up aboard a seemingly empty subway train. As you move around the train, trying to get from car to car, you’ll begin to sense that things around you are not what they appear to be.
synopsis:
Info Coming Soon
features:
True Horror Experience: You are no fighter - if you want to survive the horrors of the train, your only chance is to run… or hide
Immersive Graphics: AAA-quality graphics give players a detailed, terrifying world to explore
Stealth-based gameplay, with parkour-inspired platforming elements
You can move around the train car, examine your surroundings, and interact with objects. Many cars have simple puzzles you need to solve to get to the next one and out of the train, such as finding a necessary tool or switch. Train 113 mainly focuses on building up a tense, menacing atmosphere. As you progress through the game you’ll see more and more evidence that there’s something not right on the train and eventually come face to face with the horror.
warning:
Train 113 contains intense jumpscares. Please enjoy.
CURSED NIGHT - The House
It is a really good game, tbh it is a jumpscare game literally, i liked it.
However, if i can get some help with it because apparently I got stock here: (Spoiler alert)
! Right after I got the fourth baby toy cube/block, I know i have to spell the word DEVIL, I was missing the letter L, I was also missing the orange Key and 3 other pink fuses…
So I was wondering if i can get some help?
Update
Well, after I completed the game I can say it is a really good game, puzzles, jumpscares, nice environment, graphics are just amazing (I played on a 3070 Ultra settings).

I’m giving this a neutral recommendation. While I did enjoy this game, I do think it is way overpriced for what it is. It took me approximately an hour to beat this game and the production values here just don’t justify the current $14.99 USD price tag.
So this is a campy, B horror, type game that does rely on jump scares. However, I thought the jump scares were done right in this game. What I mean by that is that they were paced correctly, made sense in the context of the game, and added the right amount of atmosphere while trying to find a way out of this house.

Family Is Nothing
You don’t know where you are or why, but it feels like it could be home. This woman; you know her, don’t you? But wait, who are you? Everything feels so familiar, but none of it makes sense. And still, there’s something wrong here, like a low hum of warning, droning beneath the eerie silence of this place. Maybe you should leave.
Sometime in the late 1970’s a small, isolated town is plagued by a masked lunatic. You find yourself at the door of a vast home nestled in the mountainous outskirts of the lonely forest surrounding the town. Experiencing a bizarre lapse in understanding, you are left to your own wits to find an answer to a question you don’t even know to ask. Meanwhile, you are being hunted, and perhaps a narrow escape is as good an answer as you are going to find.

Osylla is a scary game with a powerful message. I love it, even though I have died countless times.
Fun and challenging. For the developer’s first game, it’s a very good product.
I will keep playing it and highly recommend you to give it a chance.

Prognostic
A very well made for being in early access game, can’t wait to see how the story ends.
Love the supernatural mixed with detective work with a hint of phycological horror in the background, and a few jump scare from time to time.
Good:
Good Graphics
Good amount of content/playtime (10 cases, 1/days, about 5 h gameplay)
Great Mini games to figure things out!
Good mix between phycological horror and jump scares
Interesting storyline
Need some love:

As a disclosure, I requested this key through Keymailer and was granted it, so I wasn’t sought out by the developer directly.
I do recommend the game as it stands currently, at least to try out.
I’ve played through the content that’s available now.
I understand that the current content isn’t that replayable, as the cases aren’t random, but I got about 4 hours of good playtime out of it. Over the course of that time,
I found the mechanics mostly intuitive, and only had a small bit of trouble with the initial use of one form of divination. After the initial use, it was much easier to understand.

SafeZoneVR
Having trouble with this game. i downloaded it an played it an it is a good vr game, good movement, good graphics, pretty scary for a free game that takes like 20 mins to beat. BUT for some reason it will not stop running for me (which is why i have like 40 hours of game play) im not very tech savvy when it comes to computers an i tried uninstalling an it wont do anything and wont let me update steam until i close it someone help lol i have no idea what to do it just keeps saying its running even though ill go into task manager an forcefully close it an when i go into my files to delete it, it says i cant because its still open an when i go into steam library an click on stop it just doesn’t do anything. any advice?

Despite the game’s being very simplistic and short, I liked the overall experience. Also, there are some bonus points for solo development and giving the game away for free.
The game was scary enough without any jumpscares and that’s a good thing. On the other hand, I believe that most of the times i’d felt scared because it wasn’t unclear for me what to do in terms of game mechanics. When you don’t know what to expect from the game, it might be scary for sure. Well, anyway, if it scares then it scares. It probably might be a viable strategy: to fuck with player’s controls and overall mechanics' perception/expectation.
