Dark Crypt
Dark Crypt is a wonderfully spooky puzzle game which not only is it a great addition for your collection, but also great to chill and play around Halloween. Enjoy a turn based adventure through a crypt full of the undead to stop a slumbering evil from rising to power.
Every few levels or so introduces a new mechanic which so far as I’ve played, adds to the fun. The turn based movement and undo system means you can take all the chances and time you need to get through a level, but you can also skip levels if needed. The puzzles can be challenging but it feels good figuring out how to proceed and reaching that next level. To top it all off, the game has great atmospheric audio and music which blends well and compliments the visual tone of the game. If you’re looking for a cheap and interesting puzzle game to play, then give Dark Crypt a go.

Damn, this is a smart game!
Reminds me somewhat of the Lara Croft GO-Game, and also Hitman GO (whereas the latter was more Quantity than Quality) … DARK CRYPT brings a Roguelike-Aesthetic to the table, but at it’s heart it’s still a Puzzler: it eases you into it’s mechanics, every new obstacle has an introductory level, and then it combines them all together into a mindbending turn-based Stealth-Conundrum, where you have to navigate a spooky Dungeon and time your steps with the patterns of various Traps and Fiends, always having to think one step ahead.

Hunt: The Unknown Quarry
I’m thoroughly enjoying this game. It’s a great alternative to Cluedo, but slightly more challenging and in-depth, in my opinion. It may take a few games to get to grips with the mechanics, cards and options available, but it won’t be long before you find yourself either being targeted/preyed upon or interrogating/attacking other players. It’s a dog-eat-dog type of survival game, where everyone’s out for themselves including the monster. The theme and daunting background music enhance the game, making you feel slightly uneasy (like prey), not knowing for sure who, what or where the monster is, unless they reveal themselves. Also, playing as the monster is an additional challenge, which requires an alternative strategic approach. You’ll soon find you can’t just go around munching on fellow opponents in broad daylight, but have to maintain a far more stealthy disposition. I felt the game was fairly balanced well, particularly if playing the monster against AI opponents (for mediocre players). However, I haven’t had the chance to properly play any friends online yet, so can’t say if this will be the case against live players, who I think will be a little more savvy. In any case, I believe this could only enhance the game further, making self-preservation more challenging. I’ve seen other comments related to lack of online activity (no one to play with) and about playing for free. For me personally, it’s no big deal, never felt the real need to be able to play strangers online. I took a gamble, bought the game and tested inviting a friend to play (for free), which worked fine, no issues. I was sceptical at first after reading some comments, but am extremely pleased to say how glad I am that I made this purchase. I can’t recommend ‘Hunt…’ highly enough, for those who love Cluedo, Mystery of the Abbey (tabletop games), but then maybe I’m just extremely optimistic and easily pleased.

Okay I love this game. Like a lot it mixes a lot of elements I like. It has a huge learning curve as many said which I think could be cut down like if you had a sheet or a tab to check what monsters did what that would be cool. Other than that the people complaining about assholes in chats and that didn’t group play I bet, its would be much easier playing with just friends than random people
Over all I don’t make a lot of reviews but i love this game so fucking much I’m leaving a review.

A Wake Inn
Very good exploration puzzle horror game…
Graphics are excellent, audio sfx are on point, performance takes a dip some times, but its not constant or overtly annoying (i have a 1080).
The ambience on this game is really well done, you feel the tension in every room and part of the building.
Story flows at a good pace, and while it was a bit confusing at first i got the gist of it and understood what what happening.
The inventory system is really cool, like no holsters or menus, you grab stuff and place it in your carry on, it has a few mechanics that make you think “hey thats pretty clever use of vr”.

This is one of the most atmospheric and immersive games I’ve played in VR. The environments are beautiful, eerie, and richly detailed. The ambient sounds are entrancing. The hotel feels expansive but the environments gently guide you in the right direction as you progress. The level of horror has been just right for me so far. It’s slow and creepy but punctuated by moments of intense action and unsettling discoveries.
As other reviewers have mentioned, your experience with this game might be spoiled by the awkwardness of the controls or by motion sickness. My will to progress in this game has often been at odds with my stomach. I settled upon using the joystick mounted on the wheelchair for movement in the game. I found this method to be immersive while allowing me to play short sessions with minimal discomfort. The comfort settings are helpful, but I would prefer that the game include an option for reduced FOV for all movement, not just turning.

Game gets super repetitive, music is just… Weird, nothing really interesting here that would be worth your time, and plus you can’t run the game in full screen so theres that, honestly I got bored of the game. And only put in a couple of minutes in it…

Escape from DuFo
Good short game. It only took about 10 minutes to complete but I enjoyed it quite a bit and wished it was a full game. It looked good and ran great plus the puzzles were pretty decent. Overall for less than a $1 on sale I would recommend checking it out. If you want to see some game play you can check out my play through below.

Dark Sheep
This is a well-made, if short and simple, puzzle game, that pays homage to the commodore 64 era of games in its visuals, sound, and mechanics. It’s simple narrative is delivered concisely with plenty of humor, while still maintaining the focus on it’s increasingly complex and challenging puzzles.
The visuals are charming, and not bogged down or complicated with unnecessary effects, it’s simple and cute, and faithful to the era it seeks to emulate. Nothing was ever confusing or hard to understand, and the visuals effectively communicate tone and humor when it’s intended.

After beating every level with the best move count as an extra challenge, I recommend the game for fans of Puzzle games, Dark and ambiguous stories and Old computer aesthetics.
Starting as a simple puzzle game, the gameplay keeps getting some twists every few levels, which will change the way you think and play. The one thing I know after playing for almost 6 hours is that I wished there were more.
The story is nicely done, and surprisingly, you engage in it during the game.
Will you get your moneys worth? Absolutely,
