Franchise Hockey Manager 6
Somewhat disappointed in this.
As with previous versions, there seem to be a ton of bugs (you’d think that, when you’re on your 6th version of the game, bugs that have been in numerous of the previous versions would be fixed but, this isn’t the case).
Couple of examples: I offer a F.A. a contract, we agree on the money and term and the player asks me to submit the offer but I can’t as “submit” is still greyed out. I have space contract wise and on the cap but still can’t release the offer. The player ends up signing for less elsewhere and I’m able to sign a lesser player to the same contract. Also, each year, the top eligible for the draft is somehow an already drafted player…

Complete copy paste job of FHM5. This offer is complete with the same old glitches , a different coloured background and the ability for players to get suspended. Oh and don’t forget about the real coaches now! Buy this game for the coaches or just play any other FHM game , its the same shit. It’s not even worth it on sale. This is the end of the franchise for me. Greedy knob jockey devs.
Edit: The trade offer system is also glitched. every team offered me a 3rd round pick for a prime Phil Kessel and to prove it wasn’t a coincidence , the same thing happened for JVR among others.

Canvas Hockey
After 30+hrs now and beating the career mode I can say without a doubt this is a must-buy for any pc hockey fan, and a super satisfying gaming experience. Winning the cup was akin to the feeling of accomplishment in recent gaming memory of beating a Hades boss for the first time.
Super responsive dev as well, had a couple quality of life requests as well as the below AI complaint (which I’ll leave in for context) and I got a response and a week later updated with exactly what I asked for as well as a new mode which adds some replay-ability after the campaign, seems like it will only continue to get better (Would 100% purchase a canvas hockey 2, maybe with 5-on-5 play)

As an AVID player of NHL 94 on my Super Nintendo its nice to finally have something similar on PC.
A combination of smooth and fun gameplay and a creative design this title stands out among the indie sports games available on Steam.
I can see myself constantly playing this game for the foreseeable future and highly recommend anyone who is looking for a fun hockey game to pick this up.
Can’t wait to see what the developer adds in the coming updates to enhance the game!

Puck Buddies
The gameplay is already super fun and easy to pickup. I played on remote play with a friend for a couple hours and we had a blast with it. The controls are super simple and easy to figure out, and a reasonable skill ceiling to reach once you figure out how to do one-timers, how to utilize jumps, and how to use the physics to your advantage. I also enjoy the single player practice and scoring modes, which are a fun way to add in some extra content when you just feel like playing some arcade hockey. I also really appreciate all the little characters and how they all have some sort of connection to hockey lingo. It’s a great little arcade game that definitely has a lot of room to grow and I’m super looking forward to the full release. I hope you guys decide to add in online multiplayer so we can play with up to 8 people online without having to mess with the steam remote play, or so we can play online against other random opponents. Fantastic game, super happy with the purchase!

Bought this game the day it came out without realizing it, but it feels SO polished and smooth. All it needs is more maps in funky shapes with cool obstacles. Ultimate couch party game.

Trivia Vault: Hockey Trivia
Pretty much every game in this series bundle or every game made by these developers comes with achievements already unlocked, you start the game run for a minute close it and all the achievements or the single achievement unlocks.
These games whether it’s the Trivia Games, the Word Search or the Picture search game, they are all reskins of each other, the concept behind these are all plain and boring, no creativity went into any of these games, you buy these games purely for the +1 to your Game and Perfect Game count and nothing more. That is the only reason why i’m giving it a positive review, i knew before hand what these games were about and that’s why i decided to buy them.

You get what you paid for, 5K achievements at minimum price. If you’re an achievement hunter looking to increase the number of achievements on your profile showcase, then I highly recommend buying this. Else don’t waste your money. This is not a game, it’s just a way of distributing achievements.

Smackball
Awesome game capable of providing an immense amount of fun for you and your friends! It is easily noticeable that the game was made with love and polished to perfection. This can be seen from the visuals, which are clean but very pleasant, to the mechanics and gameplay, which are perfectly balanced.
What looks like a very simple game, quickly turns into an addictive, fun and competitive experience. The amount of game mode customization is huge. Controls and mechanics are easy to pick up, but try playing with a person who has twice the hours you invested in the game (or more)… Hint, it’s crazy fun to do that.

Smackball is a competitive two-player game with a simple concept, but a lot of depth in it’s mechanics. While it is easy to learn the basic controls, you will need to master the time management and stamina control if you want to beat your friends. The game has few game modes, and each of them has a unique point that makes them interesting. Personally, I recommend the power ups mode as it has a little bit more tactics in it than the other modes.
