Taking place closest in history to us, the game takes place in Victorian England following the Frye twins and their goal of taking back control of London from Templar hands, following the assassination of Edward Kenway years earlier. Having a unique opportunity to play as two different people, switching from one to another in a matter of a second, the game gives us two different perspectives from the same side, one that abides by the Creed and follows in her father’s footsteps focusing on the Piece of Eden, and the other swaying away from his sister’s goal to take matters into his brawling hands by forming a gang to take down Templar lieutenants, crippling their control. Gang members act in the similar way as Assassin recruits did in some previous games, helping protagonists in a more direct way rather than from the shadows.

A bit on the shorter side probably due to my 100% only if it seems fun approach. I love London as a city irl anyways and seeing all the places in ac-style was as awesome as it gets. The story is pretty light weight and after the first few missions you can go to pretty much the whole map. Some features from brotherhood I kinda missed and you look always so classy. Never really figured out how to do the multi finishers tho and refuse to learn it after completing all story missions and all side missions at least once

Assassin’s Creed® Unity
This is the only game in the entire Assassin’s Creed series that truly embodies the soul of all the Assassin’s Creed games. The stealth is very well implemented and the AI does seem to be smarter too. The game features actual interactive interiors in most of the buildings which was really amazing for an open world game. And the Parkour - it is hands down the best of all the games in the series. I loved the all over gameplay and the story line.
But, the only thing that bugs me is the part where I have to play as an initiate. I really did hope that we’d get a successor as Subject 18. But we get what we get.

I almost felt bad for buying such a good game for only $5.
To be honest, I have bought this game with little expectations, mainly because It was made in those “Ubisoft’s decadent years”, when they launched way too many games with way too poor quality, the worst AC main games in my opinion.
I expected something similar with this one, but it greatly surprised me from the first minute with agile parkour animations and impressive visuals. Arno is by far the most agile, stylish and elegant assassin in the franchise. Just search “pro stealth AC Unity” on youtube and you will see for yourself.

Assassin’s Creed® Origins
Simply put, AC Origins is a fantastic title that does an excellent job giving players an in-depth view into both Greco-Roman and Old to New Kingdom Egypt. The strength of the story line comes on the back of the great voice acting and story arc of the protagonist, Bayek of Siwa.
Exploring the ancient temples and pyramids across Egypt was an amazing adventure, and the new Discovery Tours feature is fantastic as you can now immerse yourself in a guide history tour of Ancient Egypt! No wonder university professors have been using it as a learning tool recently. With minimal bugs, great graphics, a solid story line with an amazing protagonist who rivals Ezio, AC Origins is a strong entry into the franchise.

I played this after AC Odyssey, expecting it to be a carbon copy in sepia tones and I gotta say it’s not. I despised AC Odyssey and while this game isn’t perfect either, it is a vast improvement (which is funny considering it was released first). The story is unique and tragic, and most importantly makes sense as an origin story for the creed.
Because there is no level scaling, you can finally feel like you’re making progress, while at the same time still requiring you to use a strategy. You can’t just hulk smash every enemy. Stealth matters here and there is no better feeling than taking out an entire stronghold without being detected. You are an assassin after all, which, yes, means you finally have a hidden blade again. Treasure it, keep it close, don’t let it drift away.

Assassin’s Creed® Rogue
The same year, when AC Unity was released, Ubisoft gave us another Assassin’s Creed game. Rogue completes the North-American Trilogy with AC III and AC IV, and turns as well into the story of Unity.
When you start playing Rogue you could have the feeling to play Black Flag in another setting. It is located during the Seven Years War, and the character we play is Shay Patrick Cormac, a young assassin who is still learning , but also questioning if everything the assassins teach him is the truth. After he was sent on a special mission and made fatefull experience, he decides to leave the Brotherhood of Assassins and finds after that his way to the Order of the Templars. This is the first AC game in which we play a templar most of the time during the story. There aren’t any historical persons, but many other ones you already know from AC III, AC IV and Unity as well.

Did you think Black Flag was the utmost heights that Pirate vs. Ninja combat could climb to? Were you under the (foolish) impression that Ubisoft(in the head) couldn’t further refine the ship combat introduced in AC3 and then perfected in Black Flag? Did you skip this game thinking it’s just ANOTHER reskin of Black Flag?
If you answered yes to any of these questions - then you are REALLY missing out.
The first thing most players say about Rogue is that it’s shorter than Black Flag. That isn’t quite true - Black Flag was a sweeping epic spread out across several years; all leading up to AC3. Rogue is more self-contained and (dare I say it?) streamlined than Black Flag. Take a couple of weeks off from playing Black Flag - you’re likely to forget the story when you start it up again. Rogue is all-involving. The plot is a lot more personal. It does something that no other AC game has done before… and shows the story from the BAD GUY point of view. Not only that, but it does it in a way that makes YOUR character a good guy (well, as good as a guy can be when he’s a member of a top secret murder cult) while still ticking all the bad guy tropes. Best of all, it actually SHOWS the good guys (again, murder cult) the heroes - as villains without MAKING them villains. This whole story - by and large - is a series of misunderstandings. Arrogance. Mistakes and one man (the main character) trying to clean up afterwards.

Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey
Depending on how you entered (or re-entered) the franchise; if you start Odyssey, expecting the same gameplay and theme and enclosed feeling and aesthetic as the original AC games like Brotherhood then you’ll be disappointed.
But if you start Odyssey, expecting an RPG with a leveling system and skill trees and is somewhat unfamiliar (or not that fond) with how the original AC games play out, then you’ll be fine.

A Game for Greek Mythology Fans
This is my first Assassin’s Creed Game, though I’ve watched some gameplay of Assassin’s Creed, so I know a bit about the lore of Assassin’s Creed. To be honest, this game is unlike the other Assassin’s Creed game. Do not play this game if you are expecting it to have the same formula as all the other Assassin’s Creed games before Assassin’s Creed Origins.
This game takes place in an open world Ancient Greece. Only probably less than 5% of the game takes place in the modern world, most of the time the player will be playing as a Spartan Mercenary in Ancient Greece, so even without playing the other Assassin’s Creed games, there is no issue in understanding the storyline. To be honest, it is a great game as a standalone game, so just assume you are not playing an “Assassin’s Creed” game and keep an open mind, then you’ll be able to enjoy it.

The standard layout is advised against. The way the controls are configured for Mouse and Keyboard users is not the greatest. Fortunately, you have the means to change the button loadout to a more comfortable experience. Playing with a controller works just as well if that is your preferred method.

The last mysterious Assassin’s Creed
There is no way I won’t recommend China, it is a great AC experience for those who care about the first two games, despise its flaws. Ezio trained Shao Jun, the most stylish assassin since Altair, performing graceful stunts to kill and then vanishing like a ghost, including a feet-dagger. It is no easy task to go classic, back again as it was in the past, the game is pseudo 3D side-scrolling that looks like Chronicles of Sub-Zero. It isn’t less complex than a full third person 3D game and can find its place on best AC games, maybe its just not enough for the setting. What really caught my attention the main character has the best voice acting on any AC to date and it is a waste to see that character squandered away with just a single game.

Assassin’s Creed® Chronicles: Russia
I REALLY hoped that I would enjoy at least one of the Chronicles titles…but alas, to no avail as this fails quite miserably as well.
It actually started off quite promisingly. What Ubisoft mucked up in terms of story in the previous two (especially India) they did quite well here. this was the first story in Chronicles I felt invested in. The MC’s motivations as a family man and a father’s overprotectiveness work well to explain his motivations, the posession by shao Jun provided a nice touch and until the end you really didn’t know where it would go. Well, not like it did go somewhere that brilliant but it was a decent setup at least.

Wow! What an awesome game. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia unfortunately is the last series in the trilogy chronicle series where you play two characters Nicolai Orelov and Anastasia. In Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia you can use a telephone in one room can distract a guard in another or shooting out breaker boxes which shortens (but doesn’t eliminate) enemies field of vision. I love the environments (from nondescript buildings to blood-strewn laboratories and actual moving train, trams and boats) which makes the adventure even more involved, giving you the opportunity to really use your ever-changing surroundings to your advantage. The story, the gameplay, graphics and sounds are all of the highest caliber.

Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry
This review is for those who actually have played Assassins Creed Black Flag. If you do not have it I suggest you buy it at a sale because the main game will be cheaper than the dlc since the price is only slightly higher but the overall content is more aswell.
I own Assassins Creed on XBox 360 and the game simply is breathtaking with the easy to learn gameplay, the open world features and the good and atmospheric music. The story however was a little short and Freedom Cry as a dlc is of course even shorter. Most players suggest an average gametime of only 4-6 hours. However it took me about 20 Hours to discover all the places unlock everything and tried the minigames like fishing. (They are the same as in Black Flag though)

The very first mission of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag’s story DLC Freedom Cry is not only its finest, it’s also an excellent summary of what made the original game good. We’re tasked with retrieving a package from a Templar admiral aboard his ship. To do this we either board the ship, kill the admiral, and take the package or sink the ship and then dive into the wreckage and retrieve the goods. Giving the player options is what the franchise is supposedly all about, so it’s a shame that the rest of it fails to live up to any of what made Black Flag fun.

It has taken some time for me to complete this one, yet here we are: Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is the third game in the series, and the second part that follows Ezio’s storyline. There is a reason that this game is a fan favorite, since it contains the allure of the previous game, yet brings in various new features and a truckload to attend and discover. If you have enjoyed the previous game, you’ll love this one. Renaissance Italy is yet again here for us to roam in, with one glorious city at our disposal. It seems that the old saying was true all along: all roads lead to Rome.

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood is the third installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and released only a year after the second game, a cycle that would become the norm until after Syndicate. Could it better the excellent ACII despite such a short time in between games? This is what I think of Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood.
Amazingly, it did just that in a number of areas. I always used to tell friends that they could be released every year if they maintained the quality and Brotherhood was the first of many to back up that statement. The graphics quality is a step up from ACII, with excellent character models and colour palettes. The city of Rome and the other areas throughout Italy you briefly visit are beautiful, as always. Jesper Kyd also returns with another enchanting soundtrack. Much improved. on all counts.
