Bubbleland

Bubbleland

In Bubblelands you will lead a team of cartoon heroes - the brave bean brawler, the fluffy feline defender, and the outlandish onion with oseledets - through a series of tactical turn-based battles on a grid of hexes. Each hero on the team has a different potential use in battle, skill set and development opportunities. The combat rewards smart positioning and using skills appropriate to the situation on the battlefield.

On their way, the heroes may encounter characters who need their help and allies who will join their party and strengthen the team with their special powers. You can meet them later at the party’s camp, where the heroes can also improve their skills and buy upgrades.

Bubbles are what fuels the technology and economy of this land. However, one day the soapy resource ceased to flow from the taps and fountains. In the atmosphere of the apocalypse, three heroes set off on a journey through foreign lands to find out where the life-giving Bubbles have gone.

Tactical Yet Simple Combat

The game is rules-light, you’re not going to find long statblocks and hour-long battles here. You may just hop in for a few fights any time!

Simple Yet Deep Mechanics

Bubbleland is not crunchy, but you still have to think before you act. Cautious positioning of the heroes and planning your actions is crucial!

Deep story… Not Really!

The world and story of Bubbleland is colorful and fun to watch. Find out if fluffy cats, angry cucumbers and onion cossacks fighting each other over bubbles have any deeper meaning!

Hanoi Puzzles: Flip Match

Hanoi Puzzles: Flip Match

A simple change in the game mechanic gives the puzzles a new way to solve. I am just as happy with this game as the previous version.

Some puzzles are straight forward early on to learn some basic concepts of moving and solving. Then later the solutions are not as obvious and you get to plan out your moves. But if you dont want to solve for the minimum moves, you can just move as much as you want. Being able to move to the next level with the “correct” solution, is huge for me.

The music is still calm and fits the style. Some of the music is a little bit… stronger or more aggressive compared to the previous game, but still calm and in the background.

HEXONEX

HEXONEX

HEXONEX is a great fun game with a ton of content for a $1.99 price tag. I haven’t seen the “You can move, but only away from the tile you are touching” mechanic which adds a serious level of depth and strategy to every move you make. I found myself projecting trying to find be best move for every level. Well worth the time and money and sleek as can be!

Takes a minute to understand but once you do its a chill, meditative puzzle game. Many pleasing color options, cool music and sound effects (or you can turn either or both off and vibe to your own tunes if you want). Well worth the price!

This game bring to us a new thing that i really loved

Now we can use our unconscious competence in a game mode with just 5s to act

So we can practice and learn without timer and put our brain in a tough test and see if our learnings are really deeply embedded

Great Game!!!

This game is so much better than the first one! The stellar archive is very cool and the soundtrack is awesome! The new time mechanic is no joke, you need to think fast, but the freeze time and swap commands help you get through it. The new options of hexgrids changed everything and the hardcore mode is for pros, but the classic, soothing mode is there too for the oldschoolers. Congratulations Nukearts! Keep up the good job!

Hexagun

Hexagun

Update: After the recent patch, the slowdowns seem to be gone (although it’s still a bit choppy). Thank you for that! Hexagun is a pretty nice puzzle game, ideal for short breaks. Well worth its money.

Original review:

Promising game. Sadly, slows down immensly after running a while, up to the point where it shows less than one frame a second and becomes unplayable. Puts about 25 % CPU load on a Ryzen 7 2700X and takes up 1,5 Gigs of RAM right from the start, which does seem to be a bit steep for what is essentially a browser game … Really needs to be optimized! Until then, I cannot recommend this, sorry. Would really like to play it because it is quite relaxing until it becomes unplayable.

Sysifos style activity in unique looking match-3 game that seems relaxingly way too easy yet autistically forces you to never quit because of cleverly set hard to notice pace in which it always adds some new clumsiness so that you feel urge to clean it, over and over, with two ambient melodies that annoyingly switch from one to the other over and over. Worth the few cents I bought it for, not more. I believe the game could be professionally developed into a very nice game if someone wanted. You can ask my help if that happens.

Warmth

Warmth

A charming, relaxing little puzzle game suitable for just about anyone. Warms you up and makes you feel cozy just watching your pets, children, and grandmothers perk up and smile as you provide them with needed light and heat. Also provides the right amount of frustration as you realized–yet again–that EVERY SINGLE GRANDMA needs THREE sources of heat before she’ll knit you that sweater she promised.

[And honestly, you’ll need the sweater because SOMEBODY has to trudge out into the darkness to get more wood for the freaking fires. Just kidding, this game isn’t Don’t Shiver, heh.]

Real player with 4.3 hrs in game

Warmth is a short logic puzzle about finding the right arrangement of heat sources in order to satisfy certain heat requirements. The levels have a grid-like structure, with some of the tiles occupied by characters (either by a dog, a child, or a grandma), each of them having specific heat needs (for example, the grandma requires 3 heat sources around her, while the dog needs only 1). The remaining tiles can be filled with torches and camp fires that will generate heat in the surrounding cells, but must be connected with each other in order to spread the heat.

Would I recommend this game? Yes! But to be honest, there are just about as many cons as there are pros, but first I will go to why I love this game so much -

Pros:

What can I say? I love each new thing added into the game. Every time the dev adds anything in, it seems to liven up my map even more. Things like smoke, water, and flags in the cities will move, and add a bit more life to something basic.

You can view your map in multiple ways, from grids to old time maps to elevation levels.
