Fish. Love. Danger.
A cute arcade game about a fish in love.
There are a lot of interesting things in this little game:
-
a kind story about love and courage
-
hand-drawn graphics
-
nice animation
-
hard puzzles
-
simple mouse control
Good luck!

Kill Fish
Kill Fish is an indie game with a linear storyline. Hero is almost dead from fatigue in the forest, but someone founds him. Next morning he wakes up in the house of the girl who saved him. As the game progresses, you collect notes with fragments of an important story for the girl. In an attempt to protect her and survive on your own, you kill monsters on the way.
I liked the keyboard controls better. If you, like me, accidentally passed the control tips at the first levels, their full list can be found in the settings menu.

I enjoyed what this game offered even if it was really short. The creatures including the bosses had nice looks to them and their mechanics were pretty cool.
I did come across 2 bugs, One was the tentacle creatures not spawning in the beginning level where you come across a well in the beginning of the game and the 2nd bug also had to do with the same creature where I believe if you kill them off screen there was a chance of the noises they make getting stuck on a loop, becoming distorted and loud. The controls were also non responsive at times which made the game annoying at parts.

Red Rust
Red Rust is retro-style side-scrolling game which uniquely combines fighting mechanics with shooting mechanics. The game is heavily inspired by 8bit and 16bit hits of the 90s, but it’s being developed with the modern player in mind. Tons of great animation, hand-drawn backgrounds, variety of in-game situations and powerful soundtrack!
It’s the year 1984 and you control Agent Red (or just Red), a soviet KGB officer who has been sent to the West on a secret mission. She is an attractive but brutal and cold-hearted girl! Over the course of the game she learns to understand her own emotions and the unfamiliar world around her.

Red Fox and the Four Seasons
Overview:
‘Red Fox and the Four Seasons’ is a platformer runner game where you run through 4 worlds each depicting one of the four seasons of the year hence the title. Similar to other games such as ‘Bit Trip Runner’, ‘Muse Dash’, and if you really want to go back, there was also a flash game called ‘Leo Steel’, ‘Red Fox and the Four Seasons’ follows the same concept of traversing through levels by running without the ability to stop. Each following level being seamlessly transitioned into the game, the level only really ending once you reach the end of the world (or in this case, when the season ends). Throughout your playthrough you’ll run into many various hazards and enemies which you’ll have to avoid while at the same time trying to collect as many apples as you can. These apples are used to buy costumes for the red fox that also have their own perks and bonuses.

Review:
I definitely enjoyed it and for me it’s about a 7 out of 10 I’m not sure it’s worth 4.99 definitely worth 2.99, but if the creator updates some things in it could easily be worth the 5 buck price point when not on sale. Start with suggestion critiques first and will move to what I like later in the review. Having a restart check point button on the controller if there is one I didn’t find it and having to click move mouse off screen while using controller hurts the flow of playing through the game. A score system would be nice since the apples don’t have a huge impact in the game as they are now unlocking the foxes almost gives you enough apples to unlock them. The slow down button is cool, but a speed up button would be really sick as well for maybe a higher score if you implemented a score system. Having the foxes you unlock have different attributes would be sick as well to give you a reason outside of cosmetics to unlock/play them i.e. faster movements higher jump maybe take a hit for free just some ideas. Achievements! Should really be part of the game to add replayability and give the player something to shoot for while playing through I’m not sure why that’s not a thing yet. Stage 20 check point does not work if you die after it you go back to stage 19 not a big deal just thought I would mention. There’s a ton of stages per world maybe making some of the stages longer and more difficult to remove the more mundane parts of the game it’s hard to focus during. Things I liked about the game the art style is super cute and the music is really good throughout super relaxing jams per world. The game plays well and I really like that the creator implemented a slow down mechanic to play through obstacles that doesn’t insta kill you to the hands. This game is definitely one of the better versions of the google chrome crash dino running game I’ve played, but could definitely be improved still. Overall I do recommend the game.

B.ARK
Whether you are a fan of the Shoot em' up genre or just looking for something to play with your friends on a game night this is a nice game to play!
This game has fast-paced action with varied level design that will keep you playing it until the end, Keep in mind that this is a short but sweet game (Just like the classics such a Gradius) although considering the price tag that’s totally fair.
Although good this game is not perfect, some times the game throws you mandatory dialogue between a stage or before a boss battle and don’t get me wrong I love the characters and the great story they built here but once you want to replay this game or a stage it can become annoying, a skip button for those would be excellent.

☑️Challenging Shoot Em Up.
☑️An emotional story.
☑️Fun game to Co-op / Remote Play
❌Online-Multiplayer
B.ARK is a very colorful and cute throwback to the classic shoot em up games from the golden ages. Games like U.N. Squadron, R-Type and many others that hit’s a special place in a 80s/90s kids heart.
The game comes with a rather unusual twist, there is a solid emotional story about the crew of animals that have been lost in space after their team of scientists detached their space ship after being caught and pulled back down to earth by the aliens that were invading the planet.

Sneezeman: Return To Planet Sneeze
Very fun, very difficult precision platformer! The sneeze alerts add an extra sense of urgency and panic, upping the stakes as you speed through the levels. Nice art style from the Modern Toss folks and a fun little soundtrack to boot.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection
Played this a lot on the Switch, and am gladly going to play it even more on PC. If you have a high tolerance for frustration and can laugh at both your own stupid mistakes and some downright mean BS the game will throw your way (mostly difficulty, but some cheap traps as well), I believe you’ll have an absolute blast playing this. It’s quite a rollercoaster of intense excitement, intense frustration and intense satisfaction.
The GnG series was always quite unique due to how well it evoked a feeling of fumbling or panic with its design and mechanics. No matter how well you know a level and how good of a plan you have, things always go very wrong very quickly, and you will be forced to quickly make some hard decisions or die. This aspect of the games was always the main source of excitement, satisfaction and humor. GnG Resurrection doubles down on this exact element and ramps it up more than any previous game in the series.

Ghosts ‘n Goblins is back and it’s harder than ever! Having played four games in this series I was convinced that I was more-than-ready to tackle its hardest difficulty (Legend) for my first playthrough, oh how wrong I was. Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection (GnGR) is best described as a remake+. It borrows heavily from the gameplay, enemies, levels, music, and more from the first two games but also contains new content that fits in with what the original games established. GnGR features four returning stages that are significantly longer and play completely differently as well as three brand new stages.

Lamp Chronicle
This game has serious potential , but in its current state needs some heavy polishing from the developer.
It has great art, a lot of very nicely drawn enemies with different patterns, a pretty decent soundtrack that blends really well with the environment. However:
A)the combat feels off and can be improved with some changes. For example dashing and dodging are purchased as perks from an npc and you can actually get them after some hours only to find out that dashing sends you straight onto an enemy losing 2 hearts as a result, while dodging is pretty much useless as you roll backwards and not forward. The only option to get behind an enemy is to jump over it, which is impossible in most boss fights. In order to attack you remain stuck in a place and can’t move which is quite bad given enemies run into you and you can’t keep them away. There isn’t any air time when attacking a flying enemy, so you can only land a single or 2 hits at most per jump. Also no ability to turn around at the spot, as well as zero recovery time after taking a hit.

Pros:
-Cute, lovely graphics/setting
-Many abilities to choose from although they are slow to unlock. At 50% completion I only had 3 active abilities.
Cons:
-Unpolished controls, weak core move set.
-Uneven pacing, progression and lots of backtracking.
-Environmental hazards are more dangerous than enemies, the game plays more like a bullet hell game than a platformer.
-There’s little strategy to the fights. No blocking is possible and the dodge move is useless. You just soak damage and heal yourself.
