Lamp Chronicle
This game has serious potential , but in its current state needs some heavy polishing from the developer.
It has great art, a lot of very nicely drawn enemies with different patterns, a pretty decent soundtrack that blends really well with the environment. However:
A)the combat feels off and can be improved with some changes. For example dashing and dodging are purchased as perks from an npc and you can actually get them after some hours only to find out that dashing sends you straight onto an enemy losing 2 hearts as a result, while dodging is pretty much useless as you roll backwards and not forward. The only option to get behind an enemy is to jump over it, which is impossible in most boss fights. In order to attack you remain stuck in a place and can’t move which is quite bad given enemies run into you and you can’t keep them away. There isn’t any air time when attacking a flying enemy, so you can only land a single or 2 hits at most per jump. Also no ability to turn around at the spot, as well as zero recovery time after taking a hit.

Pros:
-Cute, lovely graphics/setting
-Many abilities to choose from although they are slow to unlock. At 50% completion I only had 3 active abilities.
Cons:
-Unpolished controls, weak core move set.
-Uneven pacing, progression and lots of backtracking.
-Environmental hazards are more dangerous than enemies, the game plays more like a bullet hell game than a platformer.
-There’s little strategy to the fights. No blocking is possible and the dodge move is useless. You just soak damage and heal yourself.

Teenage Blob
Hello there Ladies and Gentlemen. My name is Mitch Larson, and I’m here to tell you about An awesome game called Teenage Blob.
This Game is brilliant. Let’s talk about it. The controls are fairly simple. you just use keyboard arrow keys and space bar etc. The controls are smooth. And the gameplay is really fun. There’s a lot of different minigames and there’s a lot of achievements for this game too.
Music gets a 10 out of 10 because the music in this game is absolutely stellar. Seriously, completely awesome music. Written and played by the SuperWeaks.

Finally, a game I can play as a blob.
Honestly, I never got to go to a concert. I know, lame, but I can’t help that my family couldn’t afford concert tickets back then anyway. The one concert I was actually able to attend actually got canceled at the last minute (totally not still salty). And now when we’re better off now, I live in a town where nothing happens and if I do want to attend something I’ll have to travel a long distance to just get there (my dreams of going to anime/gaming conventions are crushed). Well, if I was never able to go to a concert, I might as well go to one in a game.

100 hidden cats
This game is one of the greatest games to be created. From not being able to adjust the ear-deafening music to finishing the game in 15 minutes, this game has got it all. Not only was I able to speed-run the game, but I was also able to log back into the game to look at all the cats I found. There is no button to restart the game, so every time I loaded into the game I was able to stare at my achievement for hours. I even had time to trace the whole background onto paper from my monitor and then color it in like a page out of a coloring book. I’m glad the developers provided a fun activity to complete after the warm-up game was completed. Overall, I rate this game a 10/10, would not spend money on again :)

Super short. Super fun. And, especially as an offer, super cheap. There is not much more to say about 100 Hidden cats. Scroll up and down on a large black and white drawing by placing your mouse at the bottom or top of the screen. One hundred cats are hidden in the drawing. A found and clicked cat turns red and every found cat gives you an achievement. So a hundred achievements in total in this game. A counter shows how many cats are still to be found.

100 hidden frogs
A meticulously hand-drawn, hidden object, naturesque PnC game. And for free. Well, what am I doing here to tell you that? You go play it yourself, I mean it’s got achievements for all my achievmaniacs out there (I saw a friend get 100+ achievements so I was like on the bandwagon then on), it’s got a nice soothing soundtrack built-in, it LOOKS GOOD, and finally, those achievements are really easy to get, just click the frogs man.
But, if you’re like me and you can’t find the last damn frog for some reason because of the green, white, and black colours blinding your vision, look no further and use this guide some awesome dude made:

WELP this is a quick game about 30 minutes give or take
the game premise is find 100 hidden frogs… thats it… kinda like find waldo or i spy…. honestly its not bad for a quick easy game but thats all i have to say about it so meh.
as a gamer: its casual gaming at its best just go in and look around i got to the last 10 before i needed a guide to find them
as a achievement hunter… its kinda funny because you go through and click one and get achievement click another get more achievements… so yeah all 100 achievements are one per frog so its easy

Carto
Carto
Underneath its cute façade lies a very tough puzzle game. Frustrating in places due to its ambiguous instructions it wins you over with its cute characters and humorous situations.
– Real player with 19.9 hrs in game
Carto is a wonderfully charming puzzle game with a whimsically punny but still heartwarming story and a delightful cast of characters. The game also uses a special pathfinding mechanic that involves manipulation of pieces of the map, quite unlike anything I have seen before. The artwork also shines in its hand-drawn style, creating a puzzle game that is visually pleasing to all ages.

Guinea Pig Parkour
Guinea Pig Parkour is a completely hand-drawn 2D platformer with adventure elements, drawing heavy inspiration from ’90s animated cartoons and games. It is animated and developed completely by one artist, Jeff Mumm, and features music and SFX by Fat Bard.
Run, jump, swing, flip, vault, climb, crawl, and parkour through classic platformer inspired levels. Talk to, interact with, help, and annoy a host of funny characters as you progress through a “lost ’90s cartoon episode.”
Each animation in Guinea Pig Parkour is completely hand-drawn, frame-by-frame at 24 frames per second - every single frame a different drawing - to capture the full, fluid quality of traditional animation.

God save us from button-mashers, meaningless and merciless.
P. S. All the achievements work, 2/4 require some macro approach.

What an amazingly beautiful and super chill puzzle game 3 With a very clickbaity title D:
If you like casual puzzles, but don’t have the space for it offline, this game is for you.
If you have cats, the night yoga level is for you :D
If you just want to chill a bit after work, while wrapping your brain around rotating puzzle tiles, this game is for you.
If you are expecting a 15000 tile puzzle, this game is probably not for you.
What I adore most about this game and Juventures (the other game of this artist developer duo) is the art style and level of detail of these hand-drawn images.

100 hidden cats 2
As usual, this was easy enough until the last few cats, and it took most of my time playing trying to find that last elusive feline. If you like object-finding puzzles like this, you need to get it so it can drive you up the wall with its cheerful boppy music, challenge you with the amazing graphics, and you can get sidetracked with the incredible imagination of the artist, and kick yourself when you do finally discover that last remaining cat, thats sitting just in front of your nose! 10/10.

Pros and Cons are written first. Overall review is posted below that.
~ SIDE NOTE ~ It is rare when I don’t suggest games, and is actually the first time I have disliked a game. ~
First things first, ONLY BUY THIS GAME ON SALE (when it’s literally only 86 cents - NOT worth it on full price)
pros:
-
cute game for cat lovers
-
some cats are actually kind of difficult to find
-
moving objects add for more difficulty in finding cats
cons:
-
there’s only one board / puzzle to play
-
puzzle doesn’t reset after completion (yes, u can reset achievements, but after that, its super easy to find all cats again… the board needs to regenerate at random for more fun)
