Jogward
It’s a very simplistic, bullet hell/swarm game with a rudimentary upgrade system - There is SOME depth as to how you proceed with a certain weapon (You have 3 save slots for each of the 6 weapons, so you can test builds out). However, the upgrades are seemingly optional; however, they are absolutely required to complete any number of waves. This game has a very addictive substance to it, and I myself would love to see some more things on the farm - Perhaps you could use gold to upgrade/purchase additional farm implementations to assist you? At Wave 190, I’m killing probably around 200 enemies a wave, while scraping with minimal health/near misses!

A simple fun game for only $5. I will try to beat wave 100 in the future but wave 33 is very hard. I highly recommend playing this game. It is a wave base game like Call of Duty Zombies. I would buy a game like this.

BLADESTORM: Nightmare
I’d say that a large amount of the reviews are simply unfair hate with possible neglected attention when it comes to settings.
To get it out the way, you can change the language to English via the Configuration Launcher, Its in a dropdown menu in the 2nd Tab I think. As for Frames it should be fixed by turning off the VSYNC, if you still have issues turn of some of the extra options like Anti Alias AO Shading etc ie things with an OFF option. Adding “Run in compatablility mode” is supposed to also help with issues, I did this to all 4 .exe’s just to be sure. Also bear in mind that while Frames may be low in the Tavern, they are usually good in the actual game (or at least they were for me).

The game has already been released back in 2006 and recieved a new makeup on Steam as well as on PS4 and XBox One.
I bought and played the Xbox 360 version a few months back and I enjoyed the game. On the Xbox 360 the game sometimes simply froze and I lost 30-60 minutes of gametime which made playing this game very frustrating sometimes.
For fans of Koei games I can be very Brief: This game is a mix between Dynasty Warriors and Kessen. It has more strategic elements than Dynasty Warriors because you decide which troups you command or if you go all out by yourself (usually not recommended). There are certain strategic points you should follow but also can achieve a victory by your own strategy. Some quests however demand to follow a certain order to siege on enemy camps.

Kingdomfall
Imagine yourself in a world with mighty battles and powerful magic, where deadly fireballs fly over your head burning everything to a complete hell. Where drakkars full of soldiers attack from the sea, giant trebuchets destroy castle walls, burying many warriors under the debris. All of that while the are simple soldiers, going through mud, fire, blood, trying to fight, survive and even win the battle. You are one of those soldiers. That’s what the Kingdomfall is about.
One of the most advanced player-skill based combat system which consists of simple attacks, strong attacks, dodges, counter-attacks, shield strikes, many types of melee and ranged weapons, from bows to deadly magic - it is designed to not limit you in any possible way, if you’re skilled enough you will have you’re chance to win.
IMPORTANT NOTE The game right now is in early access and will include only part of the future features to ensure everything works as expected. You can take a look at how most of the upcoming features may potentially work on the official YouTube page. They will be moved to the release version one by one when ready. Because of that the game will be available here at half price until full release.

The First Templar - Steam Special Edition
Surprisingly addicting game. Too bad it’s overlooked.
The graphics are dated, really dated, and you can tell that right away. But somehow, the game itself does not appear to be ugly - the game doesn’t try to be anything else but a good and easy linear adventure. But in general, the graphics are STATIC. As in, there’s no wind, trees are frozen in time and space, no physics, no discernible effects on the environment by your actions.
The story is extremely easy to follow though. No need to memorize names, locations and tons of redundant quests. And there’s an abundant amount of history to enjoy. I’m not sure how much of it is concrete though.

Don’t buy into the low meta-critic score of this game. Those reviews do point out problems that this game has, but at the same time most write that the game is enjoyable.
If you are a fan of historical RPG, and are willing to overlook some technical flaws, you will enjoy this game.
First off, I just finished my first playthrough of the game. It took me 20-something hours. Here are my impressions:
Worst problem:
character animations. They feel unfinished. Most characters walk around stiff, as if they are only held upright due to some painful shaft stuck up… I was surprised to see the finishing credits showing a team of 5 character animators. They really dropped the ball on this one. However the combat finishing move animations are very satisfying to watch.

Fury Knight
Fury Knight is an asset/template flip of a 2D platforming game made with a game making engine. They slapped some kind of zombie/knight tileset on the engine.
The game maker/engine they used is of deplorably low quality. Retro pixel “art” style, the laziest of all copouts for developers who lack the money/talent to do better. Locked controls, locked resolution. This bundle garbage really doesn’t belong on PC.

Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusade
Maybe it’s not a masterpiece, but I like its atmosphere of great fight against evil.
+:
-
Various environments, enemies and weapons (European soldiers, Saracens, assassins, demons, swords, scimitars, axes, maces…).
-
Unique atmosphere created by cutscenes.
-
Satisfying fighting system.
-
Highly customisable. It’s built using Starbreeze Studios’s Ogier engine, for which many tools are released and available for free.
-:
- It seems unfinished, especially after seeing credits and unused cutscenes and models. Also cutscenes that were used seems like a part of much big story, which can be developed fully in more sophisticated, RPG game and was chopped into pieces for this game.

Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusade is worth its price. I just finished the game for the first time ever. The camera is fixed in various spots depending on your position and the area you’re in, but you can still look around to a certain degree. The game switches to first person perspective when using a bow which I found to be a great mechanic. No crosshair, but the trajectory is rather easy to predict. Combat feels amazing - a basic set of easy combos, three melee weapon types + bow and really cool divine powers on top of that. The hitboxes are fairly precise (most of the time). The game is best played with a controller, but the keyboard is still viable and the mouse makes aiming with the bow much easier. There are several types of enemies that the game often floods you with, but they are still diverse enough to not get boring and fighting them was really fun. On the contrary, some areas just felt too empty. The puzzles are present in the game, but you can count them with the fingers of one hand and they are not at all difficult. At least they don’t stagnate your progress though. There are also many weapons and a few divine power upgrades to find. Again, not too hard of a task if you like exploring every possible corner. As for visuals - after all these years the game still remains quite pleasing to the eye. Sure, many constantly reused models and textures, but the game’s super old so for me it had its charm. The story is actually quite decent but I may be a little biased there since it’s (obviously) rooted in Christianity.

Hammerheart
Great start to an early access game! The combat is fluid and exciting, and your tactical decisions make all the difference. I especially appreciate the research and effort into providing a historically accurate experience, all around (finally, Vikings done right!). The devs are very responsive to feedback, and have already implemented a couple of suggestions I had. The amount of content is pretty meager at the moment, but that is expected as the game is still very early in development, AFAIK.

Quality game. Developer has clearly paid a lot of attention and passion to it. A good thing to support, a developer who has put in a lot of time and effort into bringing about something like this. It is about as historically accurate as it can be, and the developer, Bennett, is reaching out to reenactors out in Europe for advice over the era. He seems rather knowledgeable on the subject, and I highly recommend that this game be purchased.
As it is still in development, I would like to include that it also has more room to grow even better. Will update this as the game updates.

Milford Heaven - Luken’s Chronicles
I wish there was a ‘meh’ or ‘take it or leave it’ or just, it’s ‘okay’ option. At first the game froze and wouldn’t even let me play it and apparently that’s common so be prepared for that possibility. When it finally did play (I did nothing to fix it…), it was okay. It combined a dungeon crawler with a clicker game which is a pretty cool idea. But after a couple hours and I haven’t found the three things I need to kill one vampire a down on his luck bartender was complaining about slowing down his business. (So typical, do I look like Van Helsing or the town stock broker?) So I’m kinda giving up due to lack of interest. Maybe it’s just not for me (not enough storyline or puns to make up for the lack of actual story).

Simple game but could be nice if it would be well polished, right now it have some flaws that can ruin experience. No map so after some time you can get lost easily especially when you have to backtrack. Interface is bad designed and doesn’t give you enough information, sometimes you can’t place item in right slot unless you remove one that is already there, shops are mess, no sorting just big pile without any logic behind it, buying and selling is also more clunky than it should be, way to many clicks to get things done. You have quest log with some information like find this and that on that floor, the problem is that game not always inform you on what floor you are, sometimes when you use stairs it display floor number sometimes it don’t. At some point I stucked trying to fins one item in order to progress, after countless walking back and forth I finally give up, map could easily help with that but there is none, I could draw one but it is not 95 anymore so no I’m to old for this and don’t have that much time to waste. So in the end for me it is thumb down, it have potential but it have to many flaws and design choices I don’t like.
