SPACEPLAN
Minor spoilers
This idle game is about the narrative, not about the mechanics. It presents a grand mystery: you awake as the sole human operator of a highly advanced spacecraft, in orbit above a far-future Earth mysteriously devoid of all life. Your ship AI makes a plan to travel back to the big bang, ensure that time progresses identically to how it did in the previous universe’s incarnation, so that you can observe the Earth and see what happens to cause the end of human civilization, with the goal of preventing it. Upon arrival, however, you learn that the Solar system has been entirely reengineered by some unknown power. The planets have been redesigned in their entirety into giant planet-shaped machines with some unknown purpose which you must unlock. Your AI has some kind of theory as to what’s going on.

Normally, I’m not really into Clicker games. The most boring genre of gaming. To me, they fell short in order to make me actually hooked into the game, since a lot of these clicker games were like “shop simulator”.
There’s a lot of them in fact, mostly on mobile. This, made me feel “eh” towards clicker games in general. This genre of “gaming” gives you the least time of gameplay. And not only that, it has the least amount of mechanic.
“Click, spam button, buy things, earn more money (sometimes faster), rinse, repeat” - that’s it, basically the drive of 99.9% of clicker games. “What? You’re ran out of money? You earn 100 credits and the next thing to purchase is 1M credits? Tough luck my friend, but you gotta wait till tomorrow”

Lazy Galaxy
i’ve been with this game since even before it went into Early Access, and I’ve liked it since the very beginning.
The gameplay hits right home for me, and it’s overall a pretty unique game.
It was my first idle clicker game, and I’d say the best I’ve played so far.
There’s a lot to do when you start the game, definitely takes at least 24 hours of VERY ACTIVE gameplay to get to NG+ - took me many days since I was focusing on unlocking all achievements first -, so I believe the price is definitely worth it if you’re a fan of idle games.

I wish we had options other than Yes/No. Clearly I enjoyed the game. Steam reports I’ve got 250 ish hours into it. A lot of that is sitting idle until I figured out I should cheat. Except it wasn’t cheating. The developers figured out the simple change your computers time trick and programmed it into the game. That’s where things went from good to meh.
Going in, this was a good idle clicker. Sure there are tricks to learn and learning them is part of the fun. If your goal is to defeat the enemy and finish the game that way, you can do it fairly quickly. If you decide you want to get all the in game trophies that’s where it turns into a slog.

Leaf Blower Revolution - Idle Game
I started playing this game a couple of months ago and after just shy of 1800 hours I am not putting this down as not recommended and the reason why is this.
The update on July 19 2021 just added online accounts, competitions, bonuses from said competitions, new challenges and such and for people who are most definitely not into competition in any way shape or form and or any online accounts what so ever plus now the game is going to have advancement tied to online activities.
As a result anyone who does not utilize the online portion of the game is automatically at a disadvantage and will progress at a slower rate then the crawl the game has already become.

I spent months of my life on this game, sometimes I would leave it in the background and do other things, some times I would spend hours dedicating myself to maximum leaf blowing efficiency. This game is an unholy amalgamation of all things unrighteous in this world. No one, and I mean NO ONE deserves the state of limbo that you are THROWN INTO VIOLENTLY while being sucked into this depression trap of a game. “It’s okay, It’s okay..” I tell myself before I sleep every night. All I can dream of these days is the leaves, the leaves, the leaves…. the leaves…. they haunt me constantly as I go throughout my daily life I can’t remember the last time I went outside to listen to the wind blow softly against the trees. I can’t hear a fan without remembering. I just want to be happy, I want to start a new life without the leaves is that so much to ask? I can’t help but feel fear and regret whenever I see this game in my library, so much time so much time, tik, tok, tik tok, I just want to be free from these feelings, when will God bless me with the gift of freedom, when does it stop when does it stop when does it stop, I can’t help but wonder who is the devil that managed to hide this game under the radar of he who banishes all evil things to the demon realm, how much do you hate this world, o foul creator of this abomination? tik. tok. tik tok.

Wild West Saga: Idle Tycoon Clicker
As a pointless idle game to play halfway through and then forget about, it’s an acceptable game.
If you want closure on a game, or 100% achievements, or a feeling of playing a completed product, it’s not.
To get 100% completion, you have to refer at least 120 new players, either by constantly spamming every board you can find, being one of the few lucky ones able to get their family code listed on the highscore list, or by creating 120 fake accounts. Not that I in any way endorse cheating the referral system by switching chrome to incognito mode, opening the game on kongregate, and using the free gems to skip ahead until you can insert your family code.

After 1000+h, I can safely say that this game, although fun at some times, is an unbalanced mess, with repeated technical and design problems…
People cannot finish a World without the Devs resetting them to the next world, if they try to maximize the cards you get in each town (which is of course the natural thing to do). This problem is known for more than a year, and its still not fixed, the Forum is full of these requests. I too had to use it once already, and removed my previously negative review based on that they helped me manually…

Stone Story RPG
Update (October 3, 2021): The Quest system is finally live, and it’s fantastic. Recent updates have added lovingly crafted story content (including new music and new characters), expanding the game world and lore. It’s all very charming, and from a mechanical point of view, it’s also a great way for new players to get the gear they need without having to grind as much. I really recommend checking out the quests if you are a returning player.
Update (November 25th, 2020): Three huge improvements have been added to the game:

My ONLY gripe with this game is that it labels itself as an RPG.
This game focuses WAY more on the aspects of an IDLE game than an RPG, which leads to many people confused as they were expecting something else from this game.
If you come in expecting an Idle game, you’ll get a damn good one.
If you come in expecting an RPG, you’ll get a somewhat grindy, automatic one.
Also, spoiler warning.
Honestly, this game is pretty grind-based in the endgame. Early game starts incredibly fresh and you’ll have to experiment with different item combinations to get through levels, and my god, the stones that you gradually unlock which add new features, are incredibly fun and rewarding. But once you’ve beaten “The Temple” (which appears to be the last real stage, from what I’ve found), you’ll get the Mind Stone, and with that you’ll have all of the stones, except for Moondial Stone, which you get from an endgame boss.

Clicker Heroes 2
I loved to play clicker heroes, but I contacted the developer about 4 to 5 months ago because I had a bug which made it impossible for me to play …
The developer told me that they want to fix the bug as soon as possible, but so far nothing has happened!
This is the same as with the patches announced for months in which not even the bug I mentioned was mentioned as gefixed …
Conclusion:
do not buy the game, it has so much potential but it looks like it will just be another early acces corpse on steam

The hours I’ve spent staring into the screen, watching Cid plough through endless roads of monsters (with Hilariously animated deaths, when you have time to see it😊) and varying artistic designs every 25 zones as well as creative worlds and Bosses to keep things slightly on the nose and fresh. All the coins in the universe and enough damage to even make Thanos turn to dust has always put a grin on my face. The new wizard offers a whole new pace and set of abilities In the bloody massive skill tree, giving a taste of how diverse and fresh this multiple character idea could be, and yet promise of many more mechanics and features which makes me giddy just thinking about. Review is at the bottom but i wanted to show all the ideas I actually can’t help but advocate to the developers for because the possibilities are off the roof with CH2. But I’m sure there’s a limited amount of things you can do, time wise or financially so I’m just putting my hat in the ring and hoping a seed will grow.

Kenshō
Kenshō is a tile-sliding match3 puzzle done right:
-
Simple enough that anyone can play it. No need for complicated tutorials.
-
It is aesthetically pleasing, beautiful even and the soundtrack is great.
-
New elements are introduced on every level. The game eventually becomes challenging, but very forgiving. If you fail a level, the tiles get reset but you don’t lose your progress.
-
Just the right length to feel that you got your money worth but short enough without becoming a chore. The levels are randomized so you can replay them as much as you want or don’t if you don’t want to. There are no unnecessary achievements or goals to force you to keep playing over and over.

It’s a good game. When I finally understood everything about this game, it became immensely more satisfying to solve. It doesn’t overstay its welcome, and is incredibly well-priced. Personally, though, I think it would be best played on mobile devices, especially considering the lack of uncapped FPS and edge-aliasing. All in all, though, this is a little gem that needs more attention.

Virtual Cottage
This program is not a game, but a timer, that you can use to track concentration sessions. It’s good to use with the Pomodoro technique.
Some things that I suggest as an improvement are:
-
allowing one more sound to be played besides (wind) and (fire), so that you could hear wind + fire + rain OR wind + fire + snow; and
-
make a “mini view” possible, displaying “clock”, “minutes to go”, “sound effects” controls and “music control”, in a smaller window size.
If the creators really want to “gamefy” this app, I suggest offering in a “shop” different objects to decorate the cottage: vases, plants, calendars, pictures, books, cookpots, rugs, lights, mattress and pillows colors, etc. We’ll not buy those items, but rather receive points on sessions completed according to sessions' durations of time. Then, we can you those received points to “buy” those itens in the “shop” and build our own inventory.

Let’s start with the fact that it’s not really a game, it’s fancy timer and as timer it totally could do better.
You set a name, a time and if you want a signal when it’s out and when it is you may set new one. If you ask me I think it would be nice to make kind of “pomodoro mode” and allow to set 2 timers, for work and for break, so when one timer is out you press “next” without spending time on writing. Though one is nice too.
I love there’s set of white noise generators - can pick few at a time and pretend it’s gross weather outside while you sit here warm by fire. Having a plaid irl totally helps with mood. There’s also music option but nothing I personally like or usually listen so 🤷♀️

Viridi
Disclaimer: I beta tested this game.
Viridi is exactly what it says on the tin: it’s a little virtual garden where you watch your plants grow.
The gameplay itself is minimalistic. Apart from planting your succulents, watering them, and zooming in to sing at them, there’s very little else you can do. It’s supposed to be a very zen experience — similar to keeping actual plants — so if you expect more interactivity than that then this is not the game for you. I usually had it on in the background while I went on with my day as always (hence my exorbitant playtime), but you don’t need to leave it on all the time. Your plants will grow just fine while the game is closed as well, so if you only want to spend 5 minutes a day checking up on your plants, then you can do that too. As you can see the joy of the game doesn’t lie within its interactivity, but rather within owning a virtual garden in itself.

Inch by inch… Calmly
snail crawls around the pot. Zen.
Watching grass grow.
…………
In real life I’ve killed more plants than I can (or would bother) count. In Viridi I can feel like an expert gardener, and without a stress of real gardening. Au contraire - it is an awesome stress reliever (and believe me - I know about stress!).
This game requires a really low level of skills, there’s no steep learning curve, you don’t have to spend hours trying to beat something or find some other-thing or figure out some puzzle. You just open the game once a day (or even not every day, or maybe 2-3 times a day - up to your liking), water your plants and pluck weeds. Once a week you get a free seed that you can add to your existing pot, or keep it for the future, or trade with other players.

AdVenture Communist
AdVenture Communist. When my gaze first fell upon this game, it was a euphoric feeling. “more great content streaming straight from the teat of hyper hippo.” i thought to my self. But alas, T’was not the case in the slightest. early game is pretty fun and enthralling, but as the game progresses you tend to notice a bit of a misbalance. I have put a (somewhat) substantial amount of time into this game, and in my time have figured out that it would take a stupid amout of time to “finish” this game. From what I can tell, there are 2 major bottlenecks, and each one restricts progression too much on its own. The first is the Comrade system. Basically, you need comrades in order to upgrade any one thing. The problem with this, is that you need far more than what is supplied to you. after my 60ish hours of playing, i have only gotten it to 89 per second, and to really progress in this game at all, you would need thousands to tens of thousands a second. To put this in perspective, i did the math: I get 89 comrades per second, the max is somewhere around 500. At my current rate of comrade production (89 per second) it would take 13582260000000000 years to get a hospital, the top tier medicine upgrade. so yeah, needs some rebalancing. The second major bottle neck is in the weapons and medicine. In the other three categories, each different thing you buy produces more of the previous thing you bought (hives make plantations which make collectives which make communes which make farmers), making growth (somewhat) exponential. This is not the case with weapons and medicine. The only things that the upgrades you buy make is weapons and medicine respectively. also, the math in some cases makes literally no sense at all. to get a field hospial you need to spend 10,000,000 ambulances. a field hospital only gets you 1.85+10 while not even 250,000 ambulances gets you 5.92E+12, which is already over 100 times what a field hospital gets you. overall, fun game, but for it to actually be playable past a certain point, it needs a serious rebalance.

Not liking this very much so far…
I appreciate this is ‘Early Access’ but even ‘Early Access’ should at least imply ‘functional.’
- Doesn’t cloud sync/save correctly. At least I assume that’s why I lose all my workers when closing down the game and then restarting it. I kind of expect that when it crashes; but not after a deliberate shut-down. If I shut down and restart immediately, it tells me I have been offline for
