Explosiver

Explosiver

In Explosiver you will live a story with many bullets and explosions, controlling William. You’ll be able to play in first person or third person, and you’ll have several weapons to help you in the main objective, besides, of course, a special ability that can be used by the protagonist. All this with a lot of action, which when combined with strategy, makes everything perfect.

The Colombian government is in the beginning of a collapse, and then some paramilitary groups emerge in order to seize power and make some structural reforms.

Cornered, the government searches for one of the best military veterans in the US army, and ends up hiring William, a veteran of the US army, who receives a millionaire contract to invade the main base of the paramilitary group, in order to weaken them, leaving them without supplies. And then, William arrives on the island and has some goals to weaken the paramilitary group.

William, as a veteran military, in addition to an excellent skill with handling weapons, has a special ability of time awareness, allowing time to pass more slowly in combat, when necessary.

In Explosiver you’ll control William and you’ll have to fulfill some tasks to achieve your goal. All this with a lot of action and strategy.

Are you ready for combat? So let’s go!

Navy Strike

Navy Strike is a fine flight sim from Rowan Software from teh MS-DOS era, however this release of the game has been sloppily done by the publisher - the dosbox settings have not been optimised (which is a problem for anyone who is not familiar with dosbox and so not aware they can fix these up themselves) and the have stripped the music out of the game - the music was originally on the cd, but as no cd image is mounted with this games install, only the sound effects will play and not the dynamic music

Real player with 2.5 hrs in game

Sadly, this Rowan public domain classic game, Navy Strike, only runs in a minimized DOS box with no apparent way to maximize into anything approaching a full window. And critically, the game runs at only about 4fps, and without its dynamic music (and yes, music is turned ON.)

Back in the day on a 486, this game ran beautifully, but on a newish Win 10 computer it appears to be a non-starter.

Disappointing.

This is probably the most precious hidden gem in steam store. You get a super cheap price (or free if you download from their main site) for a massive gameplay content with potential to be even more in future. Map is completely free-roam you can hook or jetpack your way onto anything, build anywhere, place any soldier or vehicle everywhere, drive or enter any emplacement or vehicle, even a mega robot. Personally fight the war in a front line or act as a commander and use map feature to command your troop in basic RTS style. Furthermore they have included toybox mode which basically allow you to create your own map and adding any little props or detail however you want, giving an unlimited idea to expand replayability map with community help via workshop feature.

This is a fun game to play. I hope to see more content later on, in the future. Maybe a terrain manipulator tool would be a good idea, so we can be more creative. I Also hope to see some game logic tools as well. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to implement, a player level pallet, so when the player completes a level, it go’s on to the next level, that the player has made. More map props i think are needed. A much needed level variety I think would be good. In the map maker, I think it would be nice to have a clear all option, instead of individually deleting every map prop. I think the camera needs to be fixed, when going into buildings, makes it hard to give commands to units when the camera floats into the ceiling. It would be nice to be able to spawn unites inside on buildings, instead of spawning them out side of the building, then having them follow you inside, then having to fight with the player’s camera. But over all the game is very fun, it brought back childhood memories, like Army men 3D, Army men world war, Army men air sea land, Army men RTS, Army men Sarge’s Heros 1, and 2.

This is a wonderful game! I’ll go over three separate categories that stood out for me, then give a final synopsis. Thanks for checking it out!

Graphics - 9/10 - The graphics are actually pretty fantastic! I run it on a 4K monitor, and it looks great. I didn’t experience any graphical bugs, but I did notice a slight drop in quality for the background and the sky. It seems like a ton of emphasis - rightly so - was towards actual in game characters and actions (explosions, movement, etc). Take note of Total War, for example. Their backgrounds and skies are fantastic. Once that is fixed up, and a larger variety of maps are supplied, it will be great.

An interesting RTS/TD hybrid - run around panels that control a drone used to control your buildings and units that you can control to go FPS. Takes getting used to, but works surprisingly well!

Not only is this an asset flip, this developer is using multiple developer names and re-selling the same crappy game over and over under different game names!

He’s already released THIS EXACT SAME GAME six months ago under the name “Mission Z” under the developer names “New Games Waves” and “Softwaves”:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1401750/Mission_Z/

I was just trying to review a new FPS game I saw to be honest, but then had extreme deja-vu as I knew I had played this same garbage game about six months ago. I expose this developer and everything he’s doing here, including his breaking the Steam developer TOS in this video:

This is a enjoyable, addictive and challenging game which you can play for hours. I lik’d 95% of the game due some facts that’s a great potential about very well concept of fast thinking style game. The art, music, voice acting and graphics, gameplay are great and plus 10/10 though. On the other hand in some cases the gameplay feels unbalanced in some missions that makes harder(last levels only) even with the upgrades. Only thing i may suggest if apply is a reset upgrades/stats button if it’s possible.

Very fun RTS game, similar to Mushroom Wars, Galcon etc.

Essentially each map is built as a number of resource generators. Whoever controls the generator gets the units it creates. You send those units out to capture other generators. The AI is decent - there’s a challenge here and you’ll have to use the powerups wisely on some levels to give yourself an edge (especially early on to deny the computer rapid resource capture as you tend to start levels with less resource than the computer)

Dev has recently updated the game to fix the achievement bugs.

Well, I saw this game and I thought the neons looked cool, so I decided to give it a download. I really like shooters, even though I can’t say that I usually have high rankings in other multiplayer games, it’s always still alot of fun to hop into matchmaking with my friends when they want to play and this one caught my attention. What I like about Enherjar Synergy is that it seemed really easy to get started playing. They have bots that are pretty fun to train with and get to know the maps, and they also have a Student Aim Assist which really helped me get the hang of shooting with all the different guns in my first few matches. I never played other fps games that were so beginner friendly, like, I’ve played Apex and Overwatch and got slaughtered my first few matches, so I just stopped playing them right away. This one I feel like I can actually play with others at my skill level, which is awesome because I really love multiplayer shooters and it’s nice to be able to play one where I feel like I can do alot of damage to nubs hahaha

This game is INCREDIBLY hard to look at. It is by far the ugliest game I have ever played. The environments are built with just WAY over the top Neon and Boom. Your enemies are just beams of light by the looks of it and to top it off, there’s an UGLY as hell dirty visor screen filter thing going on and it’s horrendous. I streamed my first-time experience with this and I couldn’t finish a game because it’s just so difficult to just look at despite several attempts. I have no idea whether the map designs are good, or if anything else is good because the visual aesthetic is not it chief.

Energy Island Corp.

Energy Island Corp.

In Electric City Manager, you’ll manage an electric grid on small islands. When you arrive on an island, there is only few inhabitants and no electric facilities.

It’s your job to build a robust electric grid which can support the development of the island in every domain: tourism, industry, residential, health, …

Every day starts with a preparation phase. You can construct new buildings, buy raw materials and manage different aspect of your grid.

When you’re ready, the clock starts and you can see in real time, minute by minute the electricity quantity you produced and the electricity being consumed by the city.

It’s important to produce enough electricity to match the demand and avoid power outage. On the other side, producing too much electricity will damage all your electric grid and waste a lot of money.

  • Make your own energy mix: Solar panels only produce when sun is up, oil generators are expensive to run, … Each primary energy has its own characteristics, you must mix them to find the better balance.

  • Manage raw materials supply: Some buildings need resources (oil, coal, …) to run. You must buy them at best price, and build infrastructure to store them.

  • Watch electricity production / consumption: Managing an electric grid is hard. Electricity is hard to store, consumption vary between consumption peaks and low demands periods. Adapt yourself and manage your grid with information you get from the production / consumption chart.

Infinity Wings - Scout & Grunt

This is a nice retro 2d/3d shooter spaceships galactic game which basically is a jet shooting varied type of astroids in different positions comming at you while you dodging. I really enjoyed played because futuristic atmospheric remind me my childhood game days. Also the sound, the colours, interface, controls and grafics setting are friendly and great since my experience playing at. By his price looks fun for play hours. Recommended this game.

Infinity Wings - Scout & Grunt. I thought to scount and grunt would be my mission, but it’s actually the names of the current playable ships, so that made me laugh. The horizontal shoot ‘em up gameplay is quite standard and the graphics are pretty plain but somehow they’re also pretty pretty, and I found myself clearing asteroids not just to avoid getting hit, but to see the pretty spacescapes. The in-game How to Play was kind of helpful, but it didn’t mention that “Keypad #” referred to the controls on a gamepad. I had to look at the pre-launch setup option window you get with most Unity games to see what the control scheme was. After I knew what my keys are, I was enjoying a moderately difficult shoot ‘em up with my large and slow moving Grunt ship. The weapon variety is nice and I like how you can use ALL FOUR WEAPONS AT ONCE instead of having to choose between one based on powerups you pick up. The bosses were pretty tough and the shots were fast. But I wonder if when the bosses keep firing missles during their death animations… was that intentional? 10/10, would buy for the kids again.

Very fun game with a lot of potential

The Good:

-A spiritual successor to NW in both feel and graphics.

-Smooth gameplay despite bugs

-Good balance of authenticity and fun

-Constant updates

-Much appreciated regiment focus

-Enjoyable cavalry and musket mechanics

-Netcode is extremely smooth

-It’s still EA, and is constantly improving!

The Bad:

-Graphics are not up to modern standards

-Some bugs persist that are being ironed out

-Playerbase not huge yet

-Really just the bugs that keep cropping up. They’re little annoying things, but they are being fixed.

(54thRegt) Col. Pertanix here,

For players who have experienced Mount and Blade NW, Holdfast and etc, Prime and Load: 1776 is for you. The game itself features plenty of cool American Revolutionary War uniforms varying from British and Hessian units to American and French. If cool uniforms alone weren’t enough to convince you, the gameplay is also great. Though this is better played with friends and in line battle formation, the weapons of the game range from pistols and swords for officers, to the ever famous Brown Bess musket and more. What I enjoy the best about Prime and Load is the community coming together to enjoy some good old fashioned 18th century warfare. The battles are fun, and well organized by the developers and players alike. As a reenactor who is confined to his house due to Covid-19, this is my next best option to re-create historical battles. It is certainly worth the ever penny I spent.
