NAVYFIELD

This is the father of all naval games, yes it may be grindy but that’s all MMOs.

Pros:

FANTASTIC ship customization(no custom paints or skins but you can fully customize your weapon load, ammo, etc)

Friendly graphics that are still appeasing but easy on low end PCs

Great sounds/music

Sim-cade gameplay (combines realistic and arcady style of play) You can choose if you want to set your gun angles by ourself instead of the auto aim function, along with things like belt armour, deck armour, etc.

Huge selection of ships in which some can be remodeled into more powerful or different ships of it’s class (ex: The Admiral Hipper CA can be remodeled to Prinz Eugen)

Old vet since start of the game and played nfeu later on. Now back thanks to steam.

Pro’s

  • arcade style battles (quick)

  • low demands on pc requirements (to low for todays standards)

  • diverse community

  • games 24/7 cause people from the whole world are in 1 server (does have lag when chinese play )

  • for old players its mostly the nostalgic value that counts.

Con’s

  • The game is so old that you cant run fullscreen unless you force it through your monitor

  • alot of crashing (not for me personally)

Heavy Metal Machines

Heavy Metal Machines

Don’t know how did it happen but I played 650+ hours in this game.

With that been said I decided to write my first ever review. For starters, I have to say that I haven’t played much for the last half of the year, but several rounds I played yesterday reminded me why I don’t really want to continue.

I played on European server, so all I say is related to that. Because I belive situation on South American server is very different.

The first good, then bad impressions. The gameplay is very good, machines are well balanced and have distinct features. Even after mastering your skill with a certain machine, you have dozen of other machines which will give you totally different game experiences. It’s interesting to play solo (those games when you play with bots in your team :) ) and in the team. Team play is very important and brings the most fun. So there is so much to learn to become a good player and it seems that you could have spend a very long time with this game, but it doesn’t happen and below I continue why…

Iron Conflict

Iron Conflict

Iron Conflict is a Real Time Strategy game which is solely focused on multiplayer. Fighting in 10 vs 10 battles, you and your teammates each take 3 types of units with you and battle it out. Either wipe the enemy out, or win Victory Points by holding points.

With Wargame / Steel Division vibes, with a hint of Men of War, wrapped up in an XP / Gold grind of War Thunder, you start with a limited selection of units to choose from, but eventually upgrade and unlock new units for your pleasure. You can spend in game currency earned from battles to equip your units to make them stronger, faster or more lethal.

Ok let it be said, at the time of writeing this review this game is in a early access Beta test you buy into for 15 bucks in exchange for a founders pack of goodies. However dont let that put you off. This game combinds elements from several games, World of Tanks, War Thunder, Total War Arena, iv seen people make comparisons to men of conflict.

Iron Conflict is a Real Time Tactics game where you control 3 units on a team of 30 untis with 9 other people on your team. At the time of writeing the game currently has 2 maps and 2 game modes and will most likely have more in the future. The 2 game modes are capture the enemy base, and for those that play world of warships or war thunder, capture flag points on the map, first 1000 points wins. Matches are Quick and getting back into the actions quickly is as simple as spending a small fee on repairing you vehicles after the match (yes this game has repair times like war thunder, but they are cheep and quick if you dont want to pay.)

Blood of Steel

Blood of Steel

This game was way better than I originally anticipated. A friend introduced this to me. At first, I wasn’t really pulled in by the visual design, but as I played it, I noticed I naturally got into it extremely fast. The game offers a wide variety of ways to get free skins and heroes through events they conduct. The game is updated and patched every week so there’s consistently new content being added either a new hero, event, and/or more.

Unranked matches can be quick to get into and are often fast so you can constantly get in and out of action. There are various game modes that have been added that are fun as well and can be rewarding to get free cosmetics, but some of them have time restraints that I would like to see removed to allow people to play them more often. Ranked matches can be difficult to get into depending on your rank, but can also be almost instant to get a match at times.

So after a while of playing im gonna have to change my review.

Games still a pretty good game. BUT…..

Theres a lot of bots.

and i mean ALOT of bots.

the Que time to get into a ranked match, is over an HOUR.

The combat system is pretty garbage to learn and doesnt work for everyone

Sometimes you cant even use abilities or even left click attack.

All the events are based around a specific time frame.

Too much time-based responsibilities.

The community managers will ignore your messages.

Even if its in the serious benefit for them.
