Rogue State Revolution
Let me start by saying that this has the potential of being a great game, but this game is far from being ready for release. Consider this game an early access.
Here’re some warnings if you wanna purchase:
-
Update 1.2 introduces a lot of CTDs, every few turns.
-
Game mechanics is only partly there. For example, there’s still no building to help boost a province’s security score. Dev is also still working on mid-to-late game progression issues such as running out of imported resources.
-
Many QoL changes needed. Ffs let me look at my current exports every time my neighbor asks me to increase export!

Rogue State Revolution is a resource management game with a novel theme and deary indie production values, but falls into to the typical issue of initial hump of difficulty after which you are free to explore and express regardless of difficulty. (Mind I’m a bit sadistic with difficulty on these games.)
After setting up your economy and surviving the initial diplomatic/societal/environmental challenges the game throws at you, one slowly but surely is on top of the wave. This is where the game suffers from bad pacing and/or balancing. I found myself having way too many actions while not having enough favors and/or money. There are several stretches like this in the game and it seems the team tried to introduce mechanics into the game that one can sink extra resources into (civilians & space missions & casino), but all of these will be exhausted relatively quickly leaving you, again, just passing the turn waiting for something to happen.

i admit I enjoyed the game when I first tried it, but a complete lack of support and updates after a couple of years, make me understand that teh devs have abandoned the game. Anyone who reads this I recommend you not to purchase and stay away even if the devs start communicating because that is not proof that they will actually do something and bettwe send you money on games like Oriental Empires

Azlan: Rise of the Burlpups
It’s a simple tower defense game, but a good looking one.
Would rate neutral if Steam allowed that, but they are still in computing middle-age so it’s either yay or nay… let’s call it a yay for a rather casual, cute game.
PS: got the game via Curator Connect.

I’ll agree with Masamune27858 that this isn’t a “good” TD game. The core gameplay is just too simple. However, I don’t think it’s a bad game, it’s just not what someone who is experienced in TD games would be looking for. I do think this game would be nice for someone new to Tower Defense games.
It’s a very beautiful game. In fact, it it’s probably the best looking TD game in VR. The art-style looks really good and they would be pleasant just as VR dioramas to enjoy. The gameplay is basically just playing down one of three towers, plus upgrading or selling them. You also have a hero that you can place to help put down the enemy siege.

More details coming soon.**
Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it. To relinquish your soul to it. To become it.
The four Ruinous Powers rule over this place, ever seeking to slip their bonds and engulf the world in a tide of daemonic corruption. Nurgle, the plague god; Slaanesh, the lord of excess; Tzeentch, the changer of ways; and Khorne, the god of blood and slaughter.
On the border between the worlds, two mighty kingdoms stand sentinel: the stern warriors of Kislev and the vast empire of Grand Cathay. But each is beset by its own trials, and now both have cause to cross the threshold and send their armies into the Realm of Chaos.
The world stands on a precipice. A single push will plunge it into cataclysm.
And there is one who schemes to achieve just that, an ancient figure who desires nothing less than to wield supreme power. But to succeed, he will need a champion…
The coming conflict will engulf all. Will you conquer your daemons? Or command them?

Breath
Breath is not an easy game, but it is not a long game too.
Start as a simple life-form and evolve your way by defeating the bosses in any order you wish. One ability gained from one boss can help you to defeat another one.
Can you beat the game without deaths? How fast can you beat it? Try yourself in “1 Life Mode” and “SpeedRun Mode”! Compete against your own time or set a custom time to try to be the fastest in the world!
Play multiple times trying different routes and, as you play, unlock new abilities to start the game with, adding layers of complexity.
Don’t forget to try to find all the hidden spider webs.
If you ever feel lost on how to play, pause the game (esc or start) and a button map will show up.
Life is but a Breath!
bridg
bridg is a game that when I first played, upset me greatly. But, as I played more and more, and singlehandedly created and maintained the speedrunning community for bridg, I learned that the game is a less of a game and more of a test. It is a test in resiliance, in human spirit, and in what in means to be alive. I dont reccomend you play this, as I dont think anyone has the power or spirit as I to handle it.

The Great Fantasy Struggle
I wouldn’t neither recommend or not recommend this game. The game is very specific. You can see game trailer and everything is in the trailer. You need to add your missioners or warriors to take over other provinces. They fight by them selves. All you need is just to add them in the right time. Sometimes you can build structures in your home city. It provides you with global bonus. Statistic window helps you to see global data but it takes time to understand how to use it.
Use space bar for pause. Actually don’t even think to play it before you read manual. Read it first, play the game and read manual again. The game is not intuitive. You need to struggle to understand how to play the game but once you get it you are good ( as you learn how to play the classic chess ).

The description of this game is misguiding, but this does not necessarily mean that the game is bad. It is not a deep or complex strategy, it requires only high attention to thoroughly and constantly check the state of provinces. The main problem is time restriction. I think, it requires a little bit of thought how to distribute the funds to achieve goal of the campaign. It may be interesting to people who like to find approaches to achieve a certain goal, but if you look for a turn-based game, operations on strategic level or micromanagement, this may not be the right choice.

the animations are nice and the system is well made. Use the tactics of the era and you’ll do just fine.

IN A WORD: MAYBE
IN A NUTSHELL:
WHAT TO EXPECT: WW2 themed turn-based wargame. ‘Beer and pretzel’ play style. Attritional combat model. Chess-like battles. Unit class levelling and combat abilities. Tactical combat states. Tiny hex-grid maps. Good-looking combat models. No core force. Dynamically purchased order of battle. Some annoying bugs. GUI obfuscated game rules/mechanics. Incomplete scenario implementation. Active dev. Single-player only.
ACHIEVEMENTS: NONE.
