This is a very tentative thumbs up because the game is decent fun, but it’s marred by technical issues (walls with no collision detection, sound bugs, black frames) and a couple gameplay flaws (the camera). Here’s hoping future patches address some of these concerns.

If you’re using doors instead of blasting through walls, you’re doing it wrong. It’s a nice take on a twin stick shooter where you can’t kill or defeat things by shooting at them, but instead shooting them into things.

I love all the glitchy visual effects. Game is very light on story and humour is definitely very weird, but I’m liking it so far.

I had tons of fun with this game

The game is very short, there’s a small campaing and a survival mode, which i played several times and only managed to accumulate 43 hours

The game is basically top-down shooter with a storyline told in visual novels style, There is no NSFW, btw

A game that does no harm from having it, definitely recommend it ;)

WarForwards is another of those top-down shooters found on Steam, don’t let the game looks deceive you, this is not one of those low tier crap games you see all over the store - this one is a hidden gem. It’s no Hotline Miami but, the game is fairly challenging. Let’s over the details.

The gme has a plot or a story mode so to speak, but it’s not like the most serious or touching stuff, but it has it’s moments. What you are here for is pick up guns, shoot targets and not get killed, after all.

Only that technically you are not really…killing. If you play a bit of the Story Mode, you will get the idea fast. The game also features a Survival mode, which I have not tried out yet, shamefully myself. I have only completed the game up to normal, and twice as New Game+ is a thing! That’s right, you get to use EVERY gun you unlock and used in the story, but you get to fight extra enemies in the game, which makes things spiced up a bit. It also features 3 endings, but for that, you have to figure it out - the game has two phases of gameplay, you get a hint of Visual Novel to play out as cutscenes, and then the gameplay. You get to test weapons even in the shooting range, which is awesome. Oh, and there is boss battles, and on that topic…let’s go on about the gunplay.

One Hundred Times Me

Decent game with great game mechanics and interesting concept. However it can get a bit monotonous, when you have to beat a level for a hundred times.

I quite enjoyed this game it was challenging but rewarding, my only problem is the fact that you cannot get the 25k points on regular mode achivement. I think its a bug but i have emailed the devs so i hope they fix it

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD

Yet Another Zombie Defense HD

I am i fan of the orignal Yet Another Zombie Defense game and when i heard about this HD remake or in a full sense “Unity” remake of the game i could say i was hyped for it i spent 27 hours on the last game and i was ready to sink in more of my life into the game with my bestfrind so me and them save up to get the game. once purchased i was outstanded by the more in detail put into the zombies and the rounds how they put in new points to make old fans have fun again andf to hook the new ones into what game they had and also it was 99 cents to all users who own the orignal and that is a huge plus.

I have a little over 100 games and I rarely thumbs down games (this is only the second time), because developing a game takes hard work, no matter how bad I feel said game is.

However, I feel the need to thumb down this game:

  • Feels sluggish/laggy from the get-go, but it gets worse as you get deeper into it;

  • Crashes/kicks you randomly to menu, which is especially frustrating without any form of saved game;

  • Terrible design decision (non-hosts can now buy stuff using their share of pooled money);

Apocalypse Age : DESTRUCTION

Apocalypse Age : DESTRUCTION

This is a fun top down game for people who whants a quick adventure for cheap!

It’s not a good game and not a bad game 50/50

i give it a 6 and a half

There are many bugs with this release. The audio is a major problem. Why is there an option to cheat directly on the main menu?? It completely ruins the purpose of the game. I beat it in under an hour because of that cheat button (because you can undo it, it give you unlimited money to purchase weapons, gear, etc.). The camera is off and doesn’t follow the character very well. The enemy designs look good and it can be a fun game, but its very short and has really no story line. Also, the subs are terrible, the English is so bad I have no idea what they are saying…Needs more work.
