Alien Rampage

Alien Rampage

This is a game that I used to play when I was a child. I’ve managed to pass through all 21 levels only today and it felt great. The last part feels shorter and rushed out, you can tell the devs were running out of time. I’ve found a couple of sprite glitches that weren’t present in the original disc, which I still own and checked. Still, this is a great piece. There’s platforming, shooting, plenty of gore, unexpected elements but most of all smart puzzles. If you’re not progressing it means you’re not using your brain. There are many hidden clues and hints that will reward you greatly if you follow their lead. You can pass through this game without getting hurt if you study its architecture. I love it. The more you play it, the more you realize they did a great job at designing it, despite its clunkiness there’s always a way around. This is a work of art, a piece of software that respects the player.

As far as run and gun side scrollers go, this is another one. Not much to talk about, there are better ones but for a DOSBox game it’s not worth $5.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2

I bought this randomly on my switch several months back, it just looked cool. But my god this game is insane, made with tons of care and passion. It’s a unique experience compared to any other game like it. To me this game is worth full price, but if you are still not sold, if you can pick this up on sale then it’s absolutely 100% worth the price.

If you’re like my friends and I and like to squeeze out every glitch or trick you can out of a game, this is for you. Or, if you just crave some simple dumb fun alone or with friends, then this is the game for you. The devs have put so much care and effort into every little detail and it really shows; every part of the game is the good part of the game.

Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2 is set 15 years later after the first game in 1944. WWII has already started and Vinnie Cannoli is back to take out anyone in his way. The story starts with you captured by the mob looking to get some revenge, but you escape and start your rampage.

There is a lot to like in Guns, Gore and Cannoli 2, from the bizarrely sadistic characters to the impressive variety in enemy design. The controls are easy to get use too. Double jumping, kicking, jump kicks, action rolling and 360 aiming.

What if Doom Guy and Duke Nukem had a baby?

This is what probably the developer of Alien Scumbags imagined and a baby was born. And the name?Master Chef!

I need to say this up front, when I first learned about Alien Scumbags I was convinced it was going to be a super-fast paced gore fest that needed twitch reactions to blast through all the aliens at top speed. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that, even though this may be doable on lower difficulties, this game is more of a methodical 2D platform shooter akin to the greats of the past like Duke Nukem (2D), Jazz Jackrabbit, and Commander Keen. If you try to go in guns blazing, even on the next difficulty up from the lowest, you’re going to die…quick.

Neon Knight: Vengeance From The Grave

Neon Knight: Vengeance From The Grave

Absolutely brilliant! I bought this game the day that it was released - I was awaiting its release for some time as I liked what the style had promised. Neon Knight has not dissapointed one bit. It is an eerie platformer. You are a resurrected knight that utilizes both technology and magic. You combat both the undead and what appears to be humanoid creatures in an oppressed city. Stylistically it is awesome, the story is great (with plenty of plot twists) and the soundtrack is perfect for the game. Highly recommended.

The following seems to have been fixed –– ((The game is good but it crashes a lot. When it happens, all the progress inside the level is lost. Also, the levels sometimes, does not even load at all. This make it hard to finish.

With that being said, the game is Really good.))

– atmosphere

– music

– diversity (each level is different and all includes a special boss or sequence)

=

– gameplay

– story

– difficulty (from average to hard)

– graphism (similar to Limbo)

Good game, less than 3 hours to finish, good replay value if you seek for all the collectibles (they are easy to find).

Quite good game, for expend two hours of game, interesting mechanics using bolt to jumo over, despite the fact that one of the achievement could be bug and the guides in the web are few, you can unlocked all in one gameplay, tickets are very easy to spot, and remember me first Castlevania somehow.

A lot of people say this game is bad because it should be free, others say the physics are weird, and others say that its just not worth it.

I originally got this game on the app store on iOS, but I later got it on Steam.

Yes, its not too different from the online line rider or other versions, but it shares the same concept:

  • Being fun

  • Being addictive

  • Having a community

  • Arcade style

Gameplay is fun, and easy to get used to (at least for me). There are a lot of different levels to try, all completable in different ways. It’s an retro game that, in my opinion, injects a lot of life into this type of game. The game is easy to get used to but hard to master.

This is a super fun game that you can play for a very low price. If you have some extra steam wallet money, I would get this game. You can also get a free version of this game if you want on Android (And maybe IOS but I do not have IOS). This game is fun and you get to see some of the creativeness of the peoples tracks. There is also an online game that is basically like this game but better. www.freerider.com That game is very fun and it is free. I still like this game though but I like Free Rider HD A lot better because it is just so much better put together and it is just more physicaly making sense. I would check out freeriderhd on google and like I said, I recommend this game if you have some extra steam wallet money and just do not know what to spend it on.
