COP BASTARD

COP BASTARD

COP BASTARD is a old-school classic first-person shooter inspired by action movies from the 90s

History:

Japan, Osaka, early 90s.

Detective Katasha B. has a very bad reputation as a cruel, rude and unprincipled police officer, just a bastard.

Local residents and small bandyugans try to stay away from him, because of his not the cleanest and most obvious solutions to problems. Among local boys, he is known as “Uncle Berry”, due to the fact that he does not part with his beloved pistol Beretta, the only love in his life that has never let him down.

However, even such a character, who avoids any serious business, manages to get into a story that he tried to avoid all his life …

Key features of the game:

  • A bunch of crazy action:

Lots of intense gunfights - make yourself be remembered in this city. Shoot, shoot, shoot…

  • An exciting story:

Immerse yourself in the game and until the very end it will not be clear how the amazing story of a cop from Osaka will end.

  • Nice graphics and sounds:

The graphics and sounds in the game are made in such a way that the player fully feels like a character and plunges into the story.

CHERNOBYL: The Untold Story

I was excited to see how this game turned out and I was not disappointed. It reminded me of the old arcade games my sister and I used to play in a cafe when we were young. I loved the story it told about the people that lived in the soviet era and the thoughts of people who live after the fall of it. while walking around, it feels very foreboding and tense while talking to people and learning about the city and it’s various locations. The action is very classic and feels like an on-rails arcade shooter while the synthwave music bumps and pushed you through the action. The gameplay would get old if the game overstayed it’s welcome, but within 3 hours, I had completed the game and felt that it was the perfect length.

Another game from the genius gamedesigner Ilya Davydov also known as Maddyson. CHERNOBYL: The Untold Story is way more serious than other projects created by MEHSOFT, also it is too short for me. Gameplay is quite boring and is divided into two parts: moving through Pripyat, collecting posters and busts of USSR leaders and second, hardcore part - shooting at infected people and soldiers. You can beat this game easily (after updates which made game much easier) in 2-3 hours. I can say that it’s the worst MEHSOFT game at this moment but worth playing nevertheless.

Drive-By Hero

Although being released a year ago, this game seems to put out new achievements from time to time without a single improvement in its quality.

So, I’m reviewing an “early access” version of the game like every other review from June, 2017 to the first months of 2018.. and I don’t really know (and I don’t wanna lose my time in searching in the discussion page and so on xD) if or when this game will be “completely” available.

Man.. this is really bad.

So bad that doesn’t deserve one of my lengthy and thorough reviews.

Richard was a simple minded boy. As a kid, he liked to play video games, he liked that feeling of empowerment when he shot enemies left and right in the latest Call of Duty. He liked to have fun. Life was simple.

Then Richard discovered achievements on Steam and his life took a turn for the worse. Now his games had this phallic bar below their titles, and as boys do he wanted it to be as long as possible. But it was often hard to get it fully erect, with no achievement left undone. All he wanted from video games was fun. Life was already challenging enough with a name like Richard after all.

Y’all like time crisis? Y’all remember when Duke Nukem was good? Y’all like Terminator references?

Remember how Rambo the video game hurt you? This is like that, but not horrible and in VR.

Blood War

Blood War

A hardcore 2D platform game in pixel style. Has a dynamic gameplay in which you have to shoot with enemies and destroy them.

All in all a fun game.

It’s 1 buck, maybe for a small dev which wants to make some extra money.

Gameplay is no more than half an hour, but if you just wanna go in full rampage killing KKK and Nazis just for the fun of it in 2D pixel style, it’s worth getting just for fun.

Honestly, I wouldn’t bother with it, I mean just go to Kongregate and search for shooters and you will find stuff way more worth it than this.

This game is oddly addictive. I almost have to force myself to stop playing. All you do is shoot zombies. Which in theory should be very repetitive but they nailed the important part which is how satisfying it is to shoot the guns. Even though most of the guns sound/feel the same. There’s usually slight difference. And just when the game is about to get boring you get a popup “You just got a new weapons!”

It’s like one of those mobile games that’s trying to get you to buy the micro-transactions…but then there’s no micro-transactions.

This was a close call on whether to give a positive or negative recommendation. This isn’t a good or a bad game per se, but rather a completely mediocre and forgettable stand still zombie wave shooter. Unfortunately, the core gameplay just isn’t good enough for me to give this even a neutral positive recommendation.

I will say that Waves of Death VR, unlike most VR games, does have quite a bit of content. I don' t think it’s worth it for $20 USD, but it may be worth $4 USD on sale (what I paid on Steam). There are lots of levels, many weapons to use, and even several somewhat interesting boss fights. There’s even some opening cinematics and nice environments.

Yeps it’s a quirky little game - pretty fun and the graphics are spot on - and it is not as easy as it looks - got to wave 8 and then had to start all over again!!! It’s fun it’s cheap, gets a thumbs up for me.

NECROWARP

The entire galaxy has been corrupted by a mysterious, demoniac source of evil, which just spawned out of nowhere to screw everything up - and to be even more “classical”, regarding profound story twists and characters, it’s up to Space Marshal Major McMâsscré to kill everything on sight that might be part of this evil (or well, just everything on sight). Of course, engaging the enemy with his prototype fighter on his own, just assisted by his neurotic tactical AI and except some of his good old friends, who might join him for a COOP session to save the day.

THE GAME

So if you are looking for an epic scaled 80s Scifi/Cyberpunk action shoot’em’brawl opera, fully packed with tons of weapons and customization options, plenty of gore and carnage plus bad and naughty b-movie kind of humor, then this cranky little shooter might be something for you!

Instead of just avoiding bullets, like in other bullet hell shmups (Shoot’em ups), Necrowarp also comes up with a lot of (un)forgiving brawler rampage as well, like crushing enemies with your melee weapons or by pushing them around or into each other. Of course, just as an addition to the huge arsenal of classic long-range weapons the game still relies on! And to make it a bit more, well, sadistic and personal, you’re not only fighting soulless robots or drones all the time, but manned enemy vehicles, crammed with really bad gang members or soldiers (trust us; they have the wrong political attitude), zombies (of course), mutants and other funky space abominations to bring democracy upon.

THE FEATURES

  • Epic scaled 80s Scifi/Cyberpunk opera with sick b-movie humor

  • Juicy massive destruction mayhem and gory battlefest action

  • Different vehicles, air- and spacecrafts to choose from throughout the game

  • Tons of weapons and customization options for your craft and gear

  • Plenty of brawler and melee rampage in addition to the classic long-range arsenal

  • A huge set of enemies with various weird and abnormal foes to fight against

  • Lots of exotic places and locations in a diversified galaxy to explore

  • Original synthwave and cyberpunk score to get you into the right mood

  • Play the entire singe player campaign with a friend in COOP

  • State of the art visuals and smooth performance due Unreal Engine 5

Rambo The Video Game + Baker Team DLC

Rambo The Video Game + Baker Team DLC

If you love Rambo and incredible ’80s action, then Rambo: The Video Game is exactly the game you’re looking for.

As soon as Rambo: The Video Game was announced, I was ecstatic. The trailer made the game seem like nothing but balls-to-the-walls action, recreating all the kick-ass Rambo shit that Rambo did in the Rambo movies. It was seemingly going to be everything I had ever wanted a Rambo game to be, going all the way back to 1988 when I spied the cover of the Rambo NES game and imagined what treasures the game might hold. That game did not live up to my internal hype, but Teyon’s Rambo: The Video Game didn’t just live up to my huge, unrealistic expectations, it shot an explosive arrow directly into their heart and machine-gunned them as they begged for mercy.

I am a huge fan of Rambo. I have read “First Blood,” and own all four movies. When this game was first released it flew under my radar until I saw it on a worst-of-2014 list of video games. Apparently it belonged to many worst-of-year lists. I had a PS3 (still do) and didn’t want to take up hard drive space downloading the Steam game, so I got the PS3 version instead for cheap just to see if it was that bad. I was pleasantly surprised that it followed very closely the storyline and atmosphere of the first three movies. I personally enjoy on-rails shooters and I quickly became addicted to this game! Amazingly despite the negative reviews the developers included a DLC, Baker Company, with the game two years after its release. Unfortunately they apparently sent it to the Playstation Store for upload but for one reason or another it never got posted online. I checked it earlier today: there is a version 1.01 patch but no Baker Company DLC available, and you apparently can’t even buy Rambo there anymore. :-(
