American Patriots: The Swamp Fox

American Patriots: The Swamp Fox

This is just a plain neverending wave shooter. Simple as that. The game doesn’t claim to be anything else. A bit unpolished, but it seems to be a one man job. A bit heavy on the price since it is really basic, but I picked it up at a sales so I guess it was OK.

The big let down is how demanding this little game is. I had to play at 720p with lowest settings on everything. And I still had some performance issue when there were many enemies. Hopefully fixed in future updates.

while it is very rough it has obvious potential the idea of being a soldier in a civil war battle is a interesting and entertaining the game right now is functional but has some problems. Like getting stuck in the aiming pose when your trying to get to the shoulder arms position or how a side will randomly stop spawning soldiers. But if they keep working on it it would be a entertaining game to play.

Ready or Not

Ready or Not

Ready or Not is an intense, tactical, first-person shooter that depicts a modern-day world in which SWAT police units are called to defuse hostile and confronting situations.

Realism First

VOID interactive has consulted with police teams globally to create rules of engagement and a scoring system that are both challenging and realistic. In order to push the bar further with realism, Ready or Not models ballistic penetration, ricochet, kevlar and plate dynamics, as well as projectile expansion and momentum.

Robust and natural controls

Explore a deep and involved weapon handling and player maneuvering system, geared towards providing officers with an unprecedented level of control over their situational effectiveness. Ready or Not utilizes a simple and organic control scheme which won’t have players fumbling around, forgetting dozens of key bindings.

Planning system

Organize an approach and strategize through floor plans and mission briefs, then execute the mission in real time. Officers can decide to deploy with items such as ballistic shields, door rams, tactical ladders, and much more. Swat units can also choose to enlist personnel to assist with the situation, including sniper teams and negotiators.

Command your team

Team leaders will command a smartly designed team of AI officers in single player.

Diverse modes

Bring order to chaos online with friends through a tactical cooperative experience, lead a crack team of AI-driven swat members in a solo, story-rich campaign, or battle a rogue organization in a fierce and competitive multiplayer environment.

Intelligent customization

With access to over 60 unique items, players are given the tools to tackle any situation. The right combination of weapon optics, muzzle modifications, magazine types and foregrip variations gives an officer the edge in combat. Alternatively, load up with plates and heavy armor to prevent a quick end, at the expense of agility. Officers can also personalize their unit with team-specific patches and uniforms.

Heat

Heat

I think finally I’ve played enough time to make a solid review of HEAT.

I’ll be changing/updating this review in the future if needed, since the game is still a work-in-progress.

Like to read???

Heat is a survival sandbox game settled in the American old West times. Imagine yourself exploring and trying to settle in these lands during the territorial evolution and American revolution, back in the days. Gunslingers! Bisons! Cowboys VS native Americans! Steam locomotives!!

PROS

  • The Wild West is always a fun theme

On 4/26 I bought this game and it is now 4/30. I have 78 hours under my belt and these are my thoughts on this early access game.

I knew this was a beta and not a finished product so i didnt have dreams of it being a stellar AAA polished game. But what i have discovered is a real gem of a survival game.

*** I have played Rust, The Forest, and 7 days to die so naturally my experience with Heat will be affected by my experiences with other early access games of this genre.***

DISCLAMER: I have only played PVE servers so i can get a grip on the game before I jump into the fray on PVP–jess sayin'

Ninja Girl and the Mysterious Army of Urban Legend Monsters! ~Hunt of the Headless Horseman~

Ninja Girl and the Mysterious Army of Urban Legend Monsters! ~Hunt of the Headless Horseman~

There is good and bad with this V/N.

Pros:

God tier art quality! The characters are absolutely gorgeous, and leave you craving more. It almost makes it unbelievable, because 2 of the girls are supposed to be hardened ninjas, trained from birth to push their bodies beyond their limits, and to expect death at any time. Yet they look like perfect china dolls, with no scars, perfect skin and hair, and still have their teenage innocence. Obviously not realistic. At least the perfect appearance of the 3rd girl who isn’t a ninja can be explained.

The Walsingham Files - Chapter 2

These are really nice little games. I like the characters and the plots.

I can’t wait for episode three!

Really cool game!

I played Silver Creek Falls a few years ago and found the Walsingham Files by coincidence. Since the first chapter is also free to play, I thought I’d give it a try…

I was immediately captivated by the characters and the story again, so I bought chapter 2 right afterwards. And now I can’t wait to play chapter 3! :D

If you are interested in challenging puzzles as well as thrilling and mysterious plots, then this game is definitely worth a closer look ;)

Just Ignore Them

Just Ignore Them

I decided to play this game because I am a retro junkie and I desperately needed my next fix. It was only $3.99, and it enticed me with its gore and horror elements. Despite having a small, yet particular qualm with the game’s narrative, Just Ignore Them is a fun, story-driven game that manages to summon an eerie atmosphere as you play Mark, a man tormented by monsters following him since he was a child.

At its heart, this game is an all too familiar tale for those of us who have dealt with childhood trauma. You cannot really put your finger on why, but ever since your father’s disappearance you have been plagued by these ‘monsters.’ Your mother tells you they aren’t real – but then what are those things you see, those whispers you hear behind closed doors, and who the hell bought you that god forsaken creepy teddy bear!?

I found this game by accident and thought it looked interesting and wanted to give it a try. I love horror games; I love point and click games; I love puzzsles. What could go wrong with this purchase?

A Lot

Unfortunately, there was more done wrong than right in this game. I think the devs were trying a bit too hard to be clever with some of their puzzles than they were trying to build a fun, playable, and intelligent game. I just want to start off by saying PLEASE get someone to proofread your game. There were so many typos and punctuation errors and wording that simply made no sense that it KILLED your storyline right when it could have been important, but I’m not really sure if it was important or not beause it was unintelligable. I played through this game TWICE and I still have no idea on if any of this stuff actually made sense. I’m pretty sure it didn’t, but hey, I’m willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

Millennium Atoll

The idea is very nice and one can tell the effort it has been put on it, cool atmosphere.

But frankly, this game has no more than 40 minutes gameplay, it cannot be sold for the price it has. It is quite sad. It would be better to bundle it with other games. Or maybe I missed something?

Trapped in the Barrens, No Way Out

You’ve traveled to the Barrens after receiving a letter from a cyptozoologist uncle of yours - an uncle that died ten years ago. As you journey into the depths of the woods the road seems to shift, diverging from your maps; the trees come close, then closer still.

Before you can get your bearings something tears out of the darkness overhead, sending you careening off the road. When you awaken, you no longer recognize your surroundings.

Now, injured and alone, you must find your way through the Pine Barrens while the forest’s strangest denizens have begun to awaken. Will you make your way back to civilization? Or will you join the ranks of the spirits and creatures that linger eternally in the backwoods?

Amongst The Trees Creep Beasts and Ghouls

There are no shortage of strange and unusual creatures and entities in the Pine Barrens - whether it be the ghosts of sacrificed children or the hulking creatures summoned by long-dead witches. Beware. On the night of the Harvest Moon, the spirits are anything but charitable…
