10/10 do not hesitate to buy if you have people for couch co-op available. Absolutely fun with me and my girlfriend who doesn’t like games.

Basically like “who shot the sheriff/murder/wink murder” you played as a kid but with more blood.

Quick to pick up controls are easy, Likelyhood this will last for 1 - 3 hour game sesh with a large group of friends its that fun. More people the better but just 2 was great fun and all game mechanics still work with minimum amount of people.

Will be even more fun with a group likely next two weeks i will update when i have a party.

huge concept, I played it with two friends it was fun!

I will test next week with other friends.

Special mention for cutting noise, blood and dismemberment :D

Please note that there is no game mode for 1 player, you need at least 2 players

Edit : I played it again with 5 players, it was very fun thank yuo for the game

Love this game! It is very reminiscent of Tower Fall and its follow up Towerfall Ascencion. Well, at least in its core gameplay. It mixes things up by giving you several game modes. My favorite mode is the one in which you must kill and escape from a portal before everyone else, which is this games primary mode. I wish there were more characters, but the ones that are available are pretty innovative and each have their use case. I love getting together with my friends and playing this on my tv, I have more than enough controllers to go around so everyone gets to play. Matches get pretty intense and the visual style and over the top gore and action really make you have a good time. I hope there is some sort of DLC planned or something because I would love to see more game modes and more characters.

I played many local multiplayer games in steam (roof rage 8 players, gang beasts 8 players, serious sam bogus detour, shinobi bad buddies, broforce, duck game, etc…), and this game is definitely at the top!!! It would be more awesome if it supported more than 4 players locally (perhaps 6 players?)

EleMetals: Death Metal Death Match!

This game is a lot of fun! super simple controls that work really well, i also like the fact you can remote play so only one person news a copy of the game

I love the art style and music soundtrack super metal \m/

Also you do need to have a controller but i would not want to play this game with keyboard and mouse.

and now onto the review

TL;DR Review

//Description//

EleMetals: Death Metal Death Match! is a violent, bloody and loud game of underworld creatures throwing shards at each other until the last one is standing.

//Graphics, Sound & Artstyle//

In the past 10 years we’ve seen games have that old school look, I feel like we’re all burnt out on that concept but boy was I wrong. EleMetals: Death Metal Death Match! adding tons of gore and metal music by Fat Bard to the game is refreshing and panic enducing, but that only made the gameplay elements that much more fun.

BULLETLINE

This game is pretty great for couch coop action. Theres not many games like this which make it so great so I would reccomend this game. Devs add more guns and characters or let us cutomize weapons or our own character. You have pretty decent maps. Littke bit of bugs I encountered but nothing major. Devs don’t give up obn this game its so fun. Also add more bots and Multiplayer. You still got along time to go. Thanks

I’ve had this game for over a year now and the devs haven’t updated it once. There’s a bug where sometimes you’ll spawn inside a building where you can’t move and nobody can kill you. You’re then forced to exit the game and start everything over. This game would be great if they would discount it and work on this one bug.

EDIT: since complaneing about the colour pallet the dev has patched the game to improve visablity (dramaticly on the first level at least)

EDIT: ok it’s not all perfect. wtf is everything blue? sooo hard to see stuff everything is blue; your shot, enemy ships, enemy shots, the backround, the foreground, the bomb pods,,, it’s all blue and really hard to diffrenciate. none of the graphics options fix this btw it will they will always match. very dumb.

it’s a good game. got it’s own personality.

it’s a shmup with large ammount of ships that all play a little diffrent.

Gunnheim

Gunnheim

Gunnheim is an excellent top-down twin stick shooter. I love these type of games and I haven’t played a good one until Gunnheim came along, I highly recommend this game to anyone that enjoys games like this.

The gameplay is what you expect from a twin stick shooter, but the things that separate this game from other similar ones are what make it unique. First off is the graphics, just as the dev’s listed, it is not pixelated and that to me is very refreshing. Yes pixels aren’t bad, but can get tiring, with Gunnheim however the graphics are very charming, there is a lot of warmth when you play through the various levels. The other thing is the setting of the game, I don’t know why, but the idea of vikings using guns is hilarious and refreshing. You would never think of a viking wielding a gun, but somehow the dev’s made it work.

This is a very fun co-operative game! Dunno why so much hate in reviews.

Best played in 2-player online co-op on keyboard and mouse.

  • FUN!!! You laugh when your friends die from falling from ledges or game dangers.

  • Pretty graphics. Awesome lighting effects when shooting!

  • Satisfying weapons! Laser rifle 3 Minigun 3 3 3

  • Satisfying enemies. Gibs, gore, blood(can be turned off)

  • Levels(maps) are all different in both gameplay and look. Difficulty scales with your progression.

  • The game can be completed in one go from start to finish

Stones of Sorrow

Stones of Sorrow

Read the store page, view the video, and you will have a good grip on the premise of this game. Now check the controls and go get those stones. You will need one for each hand to smash your blood brother’s head in properly.

Wow what a great Developer. All of my pin points below have been addressed and are no longer issues as of this past update(1.1.2) and it has been Less than a week. The movement even feels more fluid. I ran into a couple random issues… but I have screenshot them with descriptions. I’m curious to see how much gametime it will take to max out my perks :)

This game will blow your mind! Like, where else can you play a game so innovative like that? Cave paintings killing each other, a cool variety of items and, in the middle, a story well arranged and nicely told? Holy crap! You’ll say “why didn’t I play this gem before?” (ps: you’ll die a lot, but that won’t keep your hands off the controller. You’ll beg for more or, should I say, beg for gore?)

I’ve already “finished” Stones of Sorrow 4 or 5 times and now I’m in for the achievements, mainly ‘cause this state of the art item of human badassery -both the pre-historic cave art/21st game development- totally deserves it.

What a great party game! I love it!

This game is great for some quick matches against your friends on the couch. That is definitively how I prefer it. However, in corona times you can still get your game on with the steam remote play =) Have fun blowing up your friends and family ;)

Really fun gameplay, Simple and easy to learn controls, and great graphics. If I could add one thing, I would want a team mode where the fleshbirds are separated into teams and made to fight the other team(s).

Discussing tumor ridden flesh birds with long stabby beaks may be the stuff of nightmares, but they make for some awesomely fun couch party games, lots of gross powerups and game modes and AARRK!

Short, bad controls, useless flashlight.. i mean the idea of being a detective is nice but you are not doing any detective work!

3/10

I was first drawn to this game by the premise and by the interesting graphical style. I like a good mystery, and I wanted to see what sort of twisted shenanigans transpired in Happyville.

Unfortunately, the game does not control well, at least with keyboard and mouse. The controlled panning with the flashlight that you see in the game’s trailer would be difficult to recreate. To make matters worse, many of the game environments are extremely dark, compounding the flashlight issue. Navigation is made worse through the clumsy camera angles you are presented with. Amusingly, the developer seems to understand how awkward the camera angles can be and refrained from placing enemies in obscured locations.
