Casual Golf

Casual Golf

I do not mind ‘casual’. I DO mind non-predictable behavior.

The golf ball does not follow any reliable (game) ‘physics’. That would be fine, if the game would allow for more … ‘casual’ attempts to get it right, eventually. But every new try feels like RNG is at play, rather allowing the player to improve, getting better with each try. You are just hoping your first shot will allow you to have a chance with your second, eventually.

If this is intentional or ‘unpolished’ is not for me to say.

The physics in this game make me so angry. Why does the ball stick to walls?

This game is not like normal mini golf. A little more polishing and it could be great. At least it’s unique.

What a hidden gem! This is an absolute MUST have for VR, especially if you are playing with friends. You’re going to think I’m kidding, but this stands next to Pavlov and Alyx in my top three VR games.

While so many games feel like tech demos, this plays smoothly and accurately, has great multiplayer, has fun collectables, it’s got charm - It’s just an actual finished game that feels like it was made with love.

Not the mention the new map added for free which was awesome and introduced a new gameplay mechanic as well. I can’t wait for the next one. I’m writing this review because the devs really deserve it!

This is the best VR Mini Golf game out. I really like the map designs and searching for new golf balls and looking for clues on the (hard) courses to unlock new putters really adds more to the game.

This VR sports game has a nice assortment of 10 sports games for the price of 1. When I first started the game, it had a nice fun game assortment of options to chose from. I’ve played each sports game with various different opinions on each one.

1.Archery: This sport is nice and relaxing just requires you to aim towards the target. Like that’s they’re other factors that could cause you to be less accurate on shots. Requires more skill to actually aim towards the target.

2.Billard: This is a fun and relaxing game. I like that there’s an indication to telling if you going to hit one of the balls or the direction of where the ball could land. All in all good, but make it so when you’re viewing your opponent’s turn you can move easier around the table.

Ok so. i have almost all of the standalone appnori games. They were always pretty good but this is probably the one you want to get now that it has a ridiculous amount more content.

Only downsides is the artstyle here is more Chibi so some events everything is super sized.

I think there’s a lot of content if you’re into only scoreboard or just beating the AI. Haven’t tried multiplayer.

In general all of the sports “work” there’s no control issues. Controls are really polished it’s just on the arcade side. So some sports like golf there are way better more realistic golf games out there.
