One Dreamer: Prologue

One Dreamer: Prologue

Well, the fact that I have more than ten hours of gameplay might scare some people. But relax, it’s completely optional, but you’ll have a long journey if you want to have all the acheviements. The game itself gives you the option to “facilitate”

• The story is simple. But extremely good. So if you don’t want to have all the achievements, the story will entertain you anyway (you won’t regret playing)

• The settings are perfect, and basically, the graphics will make you “happy”. It’s something that brings harmony to the eyes, even being something simple

Depending on what you’re looking for in this prologue, it could be very short, and it could also be frustratingly long.

My first run playing through this game took me 25 minutes. I focused on the story and primarily made the necessary coding changes to proceed through the game. I also unlocked 3 of the achievements then.

I spent a little over 3 hours stuck in the secret area until I finally decided to relent and check the Discord server to find out that I had to close the game to get out of there. I spent around 7 minutes beating the UwU/OwO game fairly and between 5 to 8 minutes for the P/\DDLE game. I spent the rest of the time unlocking the other achievements and looking for the 1D codes.

TLDR: Worth the price (even if I didn’t pay for it, I would’ve) and then some. Super cool Developer that has listened to feedback and implemented suggested changes.

So you’ll see from my account I rarely review games, mainly because I don’t feel that my opinion matters much when people are choosing games as I tend to play differently from most players so I just don’t bother. However, in this instance, I’ve had first hand experience of speaking 1 on 1 with a small games developer and I know the work they have put into this game deserves any help any player of their game could do to help boost its visibility and or sales.

This game is addicting. I know nothing about developing games and I’m honestly a little confused in this game BUT I am learning and having fun in the process! Played the Demo for free for a few hours and purchased the EA version a few nights ago. Making each game is, for me, a fun process.. learning how to “train” myself to make games, figuring out how to make a hit (not quite there yet at master level), trying not to bankrupt my own company… love the challenges! Failed my company a few times but starting over each time has taught me how to progress in this game farther, faster!

Software Engineering Course / Informatyka - zrozum i zaprogramuj komputer

Software Engineering Course

The program was created on the basis of an engineering study program. No prior knowledge of any IT issues is required - we start with simple tasks and step by step learn the basics of computer programming.

  • Lesson 1: Basic Logic - You learn the basic logical operations.

  • Lesson 2: Gates And & Or - You build a machine controlled by electronic gates.

  • Lesson 3: Exercises with Gates - You learn about more complex integrated circuits.

  • Lesson 4: Binary Numbers

  • Lesson 5: Single-bit Processor - You write the first programs - lighting the lights in the machine.

  • Lesson 6: Programming Microprocessor - Assembler - This is the first difficult, complex lesson: you write assembler programs in machine language. You’ll see how the processor executes the commands, how the data is kept in memory, you will learn the basic instructions of the processor.

  • Lesson 7: C Programming Language - You write simple programs and see how high-level programs are translated into the language of the processor instructions.

  • Lesson 8: Objective Programming Basics - You program a robot that has to traverse the board with traps.

  • Lesson 9: Computer Graphics Basics - You learn how images are stored, write pixel drawing programs, simple charts, test colors, and compress the image.

  • Lesson 10: Hardware - Just a basic information.

  • Lesson 11: Linux Operating System - You learn the basic shell commands, combine them into simple scripts.

The graphics are really nice and the gameplay is fun. however there isnt much starting information so it can be confusing at the start. my game also crashed a few times before i got it to work. overall its a great game for the price.

Ummm okay… so, first Steam review…

This game, uh, it’s okay. I’m not gonna lie… I spent at least thirty minutes trying to figure out how to get out of the first room. And I’m not at all past that. By the time I figured out what to, 30 minutes had gone by.

So far, so okay, but I feel this game could use just a bit more in the lines instruction. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for games that are difficult and challenging, but having gotten as far as I have (so far) and it having taken so long, I’m wishing that there was a little more in terms of what to do.

Fun little Puzzle game. The presentation and visuals are very nice and some puzzles did catch me off guard. Only criticism is that some levels repeat a bit too long for my liking however that is just a nitpick since one level can have multiple variations that have their own strategy to complete.

my play through with all achievements done (first two didn’t unlock from glitch though): https://youtu.be/U2Lj9B9pZbo

Really fun platformer with some cool mechanics on how you can manipulate the world definitely look foward to the full release all the mini games could be a ton of fun with friends. The first mini game both the achievements glitched for me though I beat it and did it without the developers cheat and didn’t get either of those achievements. I’ll definitely (try to donate since it’s in a foreign currency I’m gonna have to try and figure that out) to the kick starter and I hope others will as well for the full release!

he game is short but good, the creators recreated the old game with a bit of topron stuff, at the same time I can say that it is worth recommending metreoidvania, but it is a pity that it is short and you have a feeling that Spiderwork games has abandoned all work on this game, a bit simple story but a pretext for complete manipulation of objects, just a combination of useful and pleasant, this time without hindering things, making new in programming who do not understand everything too much can learn something, also a bit bothered me that only support for controllers and buttons for the keyboard were shown do not appear, I hope it will be thrown in the finished game, I wish the creators to finish the game from the kickstarter campaign as soon as possible and that the game will be very popular

Got this game the first week it was out, and I’m really enjoying it so far!

If I had to describe it succinctly, I would say “challenging and relaxing at the same time”, which is difficult to pull off!

The music combined with the surreal visuals give it a serene and engrossing quality, yet the puzzles are very challenging so it feels really satisfying to solve them! This game is good for being able to just block out the outside world and get lost in this colony of living cells and solving the puzzles to set everything right!

disclosure: i did some pre-release playtesting on this game, and i know the developers personally

i should note that i haven’t finished this game at time of review (there’s lots more here than what i’ve played), but i want to call some attention to this game as it could really use more eyes

as the description states, the game is inspired by Conway’s Game of Life, something i wasn’t familiar with before being introduced to this game, and introducing a player piece to that system produces a lot of curious results. solving puzzles inside of these rules creates a kind of science, where the player learns to use specific techniques for movement, destruction, and creation to solve the problem. it feels like trying to control chaos, and even the smallest mistake can often result in your attempt literally blowing up in front of you

Sophie’s Dice

Sophie’s Dice

SUPERB dice tool. The best I’ve ever used, and believe me, I’ve used a LOT. It might seem weird at first, especially if you’re coming from Tabletop Simulator, but believe me. Give it a chance and play around with the customization tools and you won’t be sorry.

Features like expressions (being able to automatically explode dice, exclude dice from a total based on context such as when rolling for D&D stats, and more are now essentials for me), automatic grouping and rotation of dice after the roll, and various ways to count dice have really made this my one and only dice roller.

Real player with 788.1 hrs in game

I use Sophie’s Dice as a dice roller for my Tabletop Roleplaying game group. Absolutely love it. Plenty of options, beautiful design options. Most importantly, the dice roller is extremely fair.

Version 1.1

Love the new design options, particularly the Magic material type. They added a “realistic rolling” function that makes dice act more like their more physical counterparts. I’ll never use that feature (I’m all about that randomness), but I’m glad they give that option. They also make it clear when it’s being used, so you can’t be sneaky during game sessions.
