This game takes me back to being a little kid visiting the Atlantic City boardwalk. At the time they had “casinos” like these with fun games to play for tickets or tokens that could be cashed in for prizes. It probably cost my parents a small fortune to win items that would be dollar store quality today, but I loved the experience.
So step off the boardwalk into a tiny casino arcade. The coin pusher was my absolute favorite, and realistic to what I remember. I really like the overall feel and physics of that one. It feels the most authentic. Things like the stacker machine would have been after my time, but that was also realistic, at least compared to the ones I’ve played in VR.

2020 Update - Issues above have been fixed for Windows 10 and the game is now playable ! I now recommend this Application.
First of all, Casino Inc is a timeless classic created in 2003. May of us have great memories of this game and wish to relive them. For its time I believe the game was extremely dynamic and gave you huge amounts of freedom. Of course the main stage of the game is casinos but there is nothing stopping you from purchasing additional floors or entire buildings and dedicating them to something else. For Example, want to run a classy casino but don’t want Teens or Trailer Trash but still want there money ? Restrict access to your main casino via doormen and Open a new building new arcade and low budget gambling. The game gives your so many opinions when it comes to building and managing night life businesses.

Ages ago, before steam really was a thing, I played the shit out of the free demo version and after getting bored I always downloaded it again and after hours the cycle starts over. Fun little game that works suprisingly well considering it’s age (Unless you are on windows 8 or 10. Works well on 7.) One thing that seems to have problems is that the escorts are not working properly. In the manual it says horny customers should engage the escorts and proceed to buy them a drink but I’ve never seen it happen. So Kind of a bummer. But the stripper poles and sex shows work so.. Ay!

Luck be a Landlord
The negative comments on this game talk about how the balance is very unfavorable to the player and in order to win, you have to be very lucky. These complaints are valid. But they leave out an important piece of context: This game is being very actively worked on!
The developer is constantly tweaking with the game balance. If you look over patch notes, you’ll see tons of changes to how individual items behave, new items being added, and entire new game systems being included. Over the months, these changes have been very favorable to the player. It used to be that you’d have to play many rounds before you had one where winning was even a possibility, but now most games are winnable as long as you have a decent strategy in mind.

I LOVE the concept and the game is good but it could be better. Which is about right for an early access game.
The biggest issue is replayability. For a ‘rougelike’ that is a big deal and this game has limited replayability. Every run begins to feel pretty samey after you’ve pulled off a handful of different synergies. So far the only efforts made to address this have been adding more symbols and a handful of items. While this adds replayability it is a limited option. Every new symbol and item added makes it harder to find things that go together which lowers the fun and viability of the game. Having 100 new synergies doesn’t make the game more replayable if you can never actually get the pieces together to do any of them.
