Raider Bots

Raider Bots

The Raiders are a lawless space fleet consisting of a handful of battle hardened operatives. In their quest for riches, they have scouted a planet that is home to an abundance of valuable resources. Unfortunately, it is already occupied by multiple factions, battling for control. Your mission is to conquer the planet and place it under Raiders control. Combined with a powerful Battle MECH, you will raise an army of Battle BOTs in order to take on the thriving native factions.

Key Features:

  • Two Main Modes, World Mode and Battle Mode - Plan your moves in the World Mode, then jump into Battle Mode to experience battles in real time.

  • Mechs - Dominate the battlefield with your very own Mech, with a plethora of unlockable weaponry.

  • Collect BOTs - Take control of a variety of Battle BOTs, each with their own unique characteristics.

  • Specialize BOTs - Specialize BOT effectiveness on the battlefield with a variety of collectible upgrade modules.

  • Conquest - Take control of Strongholds dotted across the planet. Strongholds will help fund multiple large scale armies necessary for total conquest.

  • Commander Drone - Command your BOTs and activate special abilities with the Commander Drone; which affords a top down view of the battle where you can issue orders, classic RTS style.

Its a mediocore port. It’s got locked resolution choices, low quality options, and subpar Keyboard + mouse interface.

Now that I’ve got that out of the way. It is a fairly enjoyable diablo-esque gameplay with ac style mech customization. Story and mission content is pretty good, especially with inclusion of all the dlcs, it gives you more scenarios and lore to followup your previous game

Gameplay wise its fairly simple, however I notice a lot of fps staggers throughout the game. Something the fps lock which unfortunately you can’t do anything to fix it without resorting to outside tampering. Also it suffers from having terrible ai partners and sometimes questionable mission objectives. Customibility isn’t as deep as say AC. But you got plenty of parts and weapons to experiment on and to figure out your preferred playstyle. Though you’re color selection and map layout is limited.

…well you tried.

But seriously this game is pretty much Armored Core meets Diablo with loot shooter elements, but the problem is its so stale and boring that it ceases to be fun about halfway through. The end game content is unsatisfying and getting S ranks on the missions is tedious instead of a challenge. The story puts you to sleep. The part selection and paint is bare minimum and the stats are never explained. All the bosses are basically giant versions of the normal mechs with cheap tactics and that’s only if they work properly. I had two of the final bosses glitch out on me quite a few times. It was hilarious but sad at the same time. Also the Hero Creation extension is basically playing the game all over again, with slightly different dialogue and 3 additional missions. I S ranked all the missions in this game just so I can get my money’s worth but jeez I only did it cause I was bored.

I really want to recommend it, but at the moment it’s unplayable unless you speak Chinese. Yes, it has subtitles but not enough, there are still entire segments that are in Chinese, as well as incorrect translations (IE: Characters naming you “Light” but then calling you “Wright”).

I’d strongly urge anyone who wants to play it to wait until it’s had more time to be developed and translated.

Nice game sofar,, but right now it seems only the first Mission is playable, it will not let me continue to the next Map after the 1st intermission.

For a Game that lasted less than 30 minutes 4€ is a bit much, hope it will bne updated in Future with more Missions.

For now sadly i cannot recommend it

A slightly-edited worked example of TShadowKnight’s SRW Engine MV, featuring some unique assets but just one stage that’s all of 15 minutes long. So, this is blatantly unfinished crapware trying to get money out of people by promising a game but then not actually creating the game.

Can’t recommend buying this for any reason.

Front Mission Evolved

Front Mission Evolved

Another game with a big name behind it.

Time for yet another dual-viewpoint review.

TL;DR: Only go for it for the multiplayer. Only go multiplayer if you already know someone that wants to play it. (http://steamcommunity.com/groups/FrontMissionRevival )

FME as part of Front Mission series

I’ve played Front Mission on SNES, including Front Mission: Gun Hazard (that it’s NOT a strategy game either, it’s a platformer), and Front Mission 3 on PS1.

They decided to make a TPS out of a game series that are mostly Turn Based Strategy.

After writing a review for this when I was 14, I have read the original and felt it was nothing more than cringe material. SO, I will be reviewing this game AGAIN.

To start off with, the story isn’t connected to any of the previous Front Mission games on Playstation. Instead, we are given a completely “NEW” story with “NEW” characters. These characters are pretty much as bland as a slice of bread, and only act as a means to introduce you to game mechanics or shit out exposition when nothing is shooting at you.

A surprisingly enjoyable indie game at such a low price that deserve more attention.

IMO, the negative reviews are unfair for this game, knowing it’s priced that low.

Notice the plebs with less than 20 minutes posting their reviews smh…

I don’t get it, people expect something triple A quality maybe for the price of a cinema ticket ?

I’m a huge old-school railshooter fan, so I was really looking forward to this game… Unfortunately, it’s awful.

• Railshooter segments are lackluster

• Free-roaming segments are nigh unplayable

• Game pad control scheme is not well thought out

• Movement and aiming sensitivity are not adjustable

• Y-Axis cannot be inverted on either stick

• Evasive maneuvers are largely useless and easy to accidentally trigger

• Mech mode is slow and extremely clunky, especially when moving along the Y-Axis

• No radar, so you’re completely blind to off-screen threats — of which there are many

GALAHAD 3093

GALAHAD 3093

Lance Warfare

**In GALAHAD 3093, players pilot mechs known as “Lances”. Capable of massive destruction, Lances are highly customizable. Types range from Light to Super Heavy to enhance mobility, damage, and defense. Lances can also be armed with a variety of weapons, deployable systems, and upgrade modules to prepare for a variety of tactical situations.

  • Strafe and shred up close with miniguns and shotguns.

  • Blast enemies from afar with beam cannons and plasma guns.

  • Hammer base defenses with rockets, guided missiles, and grenades.

  • Navigate the terrain by boosting to reach high speeds or use your jump-jet to ascend high above it.

Heroic Knights

**The pilots of GALAHAD 3093 are “Knights”, heroes that have taken up the mantle of legendary Arthurian figures. Each Knight provides a unique active and passive ability that can dramatically turn the tide of battle.

  • Wielding X-Calibur, Arthur can call down an orbital strike on his enemies.

  • Gwen’s Royal Dome shields yourself and your allies from damage.

  • Kay’s skim jets release an afterburn effect that leaves a trail of burning napalm in his wake.

  • Mordred’s Teleport ability allows players to swiftly blink across the map

Perfect Your Build

**Players must strategically combine Knights, Lances, and equipable items to dominate the battlefield. Mix-and-match primary and secondary weapons, deployable systems, and upgrade modules to create the ideal loadout for a range of playstyles.

  • Balance weapon types or double-up guns akimbo for maximum firepower.

  • Shape the battlefield with deployable drones, tracking mines, and spawn points.

  • Test hundreds of upgrade modules to find what compliments your Lance best.

  • Set and save up to four distinct loadouts to choose from during battle.

Tactics and Teamwork

**Mech battles in GALAHAD 3093 require more than just force and vigor. Players must coordinate with teammates to capture points, destroy enemy generators, and lay down defenses in 32-person PvP arenas. The team that maintains the most bases for the longest period of time and takes out the most enemies claims victory.

  • Prepare for large-scale vertical engagements on complex battlefields.

  • Claim the high ground and pummel enemy positions.

  • Explore and utilize every map environment to gain a tactical edge.

  • Communicate with teammates to execute plans and secure a win.********

IRON REBELLION

IRON REBELLION

This is the game I have been waiting for!

Since Mech Warrior and Mech Commander, I have wanted to VR pilot a mech. I want all the story boards and team overviews with in-mech VR and commander of a squad in Real time scenarios with VR command decs or carriers communicating with real time live players to enact sieges etc.

While this game is not all that, they clearly define a road map to what is much of the VR piloting of various mech classes. Currently it seems they are working cockpit operations and player interaction (but I am sure they state exactly what somewhere in their roadmap).

If you were disappointed when Hawken shut down before the Rift CV1 released and never got to play that sweet, sweet Mech combat in VR, never fear, Iron Rebellion is here!

This is truly going to be a trend-setter game. The virtualized joystick controls and easy to learn, tough to master gameplay leaves you coming back again and again for those spicy mech shootouts!

It hasn’t been released for long, so many updates are on the roadmap, cannot wait til I can make a Reaper loadout like from Hawken and dart around as a tiny speedster mech with a sniper rifle, weeeeee!
