Renditions of the Awakening

Renditions of the Awakening

In active development since 2016, this is a first-person strategy game about summoning demons and toppling a civilization one castle at a time in order to re-live the story of the man who already did that. Gain the trust of that man - your jailor - by embellishing the details if you wish but the one thing you must do is become the new king while taking no lives with your own hands.

Some demons are stealthy; others not so much. Summon an army, manage them well and control the flow of information across the battlefield to catch Keeps and Castles unawares or poorly defended. But beware, the summoning process compels them to follow you around but that’s all - they still retain their own fickle personalities and will quit your service in the worst way possible if ever they stop having enough fun.

Rustler (Grand Theft Horse)

Rustler (Grand Theft Horse)

one of those game thats basically 7/10. its very decent

Played on the hard difficulty, i belive the time i beat the game (all quest, all side mission, some unlockables ) i was abt 80%

theres some massive jank bugs that probably already adressed after i beat it, but one of the jank are the horse mission. it is a massive bitch when i played it. to the point i had to email the dev on what im saying.

Story humour probably could get better if theres some form of actual talking instead of just Sims blabbering.

I am having a lot of fun with this game. It is relaxing at times and not frustrating at all. It is obvious where it is inspired from.

The graphics reminds me of shadow tactics. It is very pleasant to look at.

The sound in this game is relaxing. The birds and the nature ahhh. The music of the barde is very funny.

The combat is good but needs more work besides the bug fixing. I would like to see more fighting techniques, not just hit and block. I am enjoying it so far.

The humor in this game is spot on. I had moments when I laughed out loud.

Inkulinati

Inkulinati

Inkulinati is an ink-based strategy game straight from medieval manuscripts, where a rabbit’s bum can be deadlier than a dog’s sword.

Take your turn in Inkulinati duels filled with unexpected tactical depth (and humour!). Embark on an ever-changing journey, build your own bestiary, defeat medieval superstars and collect perks to unleash special powers.

Become a master of the Living Ink, grab your quill and build your unique strategy time after time so that you can be named the greatest Inkulinati of all time!

INKULINATI IS INSPIRED BY REAL-LIFE MEDIEVAL MARGINALIA

700 years in the making, finally these bizarre art pieces can come alive in a video game and show that medieval people also had their “memes” and that they laughed from the same silly things that we do today. You’ll see sword-wielding rabbits, dogs with spears, trumpets lodged in bottoms, human-eating snails, and more. Much, much more…

FIGHT LIKE AN INKULINATI

Inkulinati are a legendary group who battle one another on the pages of medieval manuscripts. They fight by drawing Beasts with the Living Ink. Thanks to this magical substance, those creatures come to life and an epic battle ensues.Move your Beasts across the battlefield, perform actions on or with them, make tactical use of obstacles and collect more Living Ink to draw new Beasts which allows you to gain an advantage over your opponent.

MULTIPLE DEADLY (AND BIZARRE) BEASTS TO UNLOCK

Donkeys playing trumpets with their bottoms, bishop cats vanquishing heretics with prayers, heavy but deadly snails that eat units alive, and more. Much, much more. They all have their special skills and are waiting for your command.

SPECIAL, BATTLE TIDE-TURNING ACTIONS PERFORMED BY THE INKULINATI

It’s not just your Beasts that can cause havoc and damage. Use your fists to smash your opponent’s units, draw obstacles to create barriers, relocate your units with a move of your finger, or explode your troops to create pure, pure chaos. Just remember - your opponent can do it too.

ADAPT YOUR TACTIC TO EVERY BATTLE

Each Inkulinati has its own army, with different Beasts, who in turn, have different abilities, strengths, and unfortunately, weaknesses (or fortunately - depending which side you’re on). But it’s not just the armies that can influence who will win any given duel. Each Battlefield is its own domain, with its own particular dangers that you should watch out for, and opportunities that you can use. You will have to use your wits and adapt your strategy to beat the opposing Inkulinati’s army on each specific Battlefield.

A SINGLE-PLAYER CAMPAIGN

Uncover the mystery and secrets of Inkulinati and face such opponents as Death, Dante Alighieri, and more. Go out into the world and start your adventure! Fight the biggest Inkulinati masters in the land, tame the untamed Beasts, build your ultimate army, try to bring back your Master from the clutches of death, and most importantly, finish your grand quest with the biggest party that the middle ages have ever seen! Howza!!!

CREATE AND DEVELOP YOUR OWN CHARACTER

As any aspiring Inkulinati Master, you will get to create your own Tiny-Inkulinati. During your journey you will learn the secret techniques of drawing new Beasts and Inkulinati Hand Actions, allowing you to choose the composition of your army. You can be a brave knight that has no fear and will send his loyal troops straight at his opponents. Or perhaps you would like to play with a bit more tact? In that case, you can be a nun who with the power of prayer can confuse her enemies and heal thy own servants. Those styles, and more, are waiting to be discovered and made your own. Express yourself!

EVERY BATTLE HAS ITS OWN STORY

To mark every battle in history books for all future generations to see, a procedurally generated text describes the dramatic (or hilarious) events in detail just above the battlefield.

LOCAL PVP BATTLES

Inkulinati will bring you back to the Golden Era of hot-seat mode.

Lancelot’s Hangover: The Quest for the Holy Booze

Lancelot’s Hangover: The Quest for the Holy Booze

This game is a barrel bursting with absolute nonsense. And this is why it’s terrific.

The art style is simplistic but serves the humour very well, the puzzles aren’t hard, until the last chapter where it’s more of a “How much do you remember of the game you’ve played and the locations you’ve visited” luckily the game cuts off branches you don’t need to revisit so it doesn’t become annoying.

It’s a laugh and a half and definitely worth a look.

Do you have a sense for black humor? Then you have to play Lancelot’s Hangover. That seems familiar to me… anyway I would say even if you don’t have a sense for black humor you have to play it because it’s a great sexy adventure game. Everything is alright. I can’t complain. It reminded me a bit of my childhood when I was in the monastery and in the church. At that time there were unfortunately no naked women in the monastery. It also reminds me of Marilyn Manson when he says: I don’t like the drugs but the drugs like me. Lancelot should sing that, the sexy knight with beer (I recommend the Bavarian beer).

Runs great on Windows 10/Vive/GTX 970

A fun and casual game. Has endless mode so you could compete with your friends who come over to hang out.

Becomes repetitive soon, so you won’t be playing hours on end.

Real player with 3.0 hrs in game

Fast paced and hectic, you need to give the customers their requested items, while looking out for a few badguys. Muggers come in and attempt to rob you – kill them quick! Thieves request an item, but then try to get away without paying for it – club them before they escape! The wanted person will act like a normal customer, buying and paying for an item, but if you knock them out instead of filling their request, you get a bonus.

There are plenty of items that they’ll request, and at least three qualities of each (standard, gilded, and enchanted) – so you’ll need to be on top of your game to ensure everyone gets what they wanted.

I really enjoyed this one. I wish it had a sandbox type scenario without the time constraint.

Want to play more but don't really want to repeat the main campaign.

Theme park meets jousting!

It's a good little sim game. There's more complexity to the it that I thought it would have when I bought it - but it's actually been quite fun for the last couple of days I've been dipping in and out. Well worth a punt.

Pros

- Good feel to it, familiar tycoon game mechanics, building, hiring staff and all that jazz.

- It looks nice, good art style and cute characters.

- Music is pretty good.

- It's got some nice humour - you can see little thought bubbles from time to time with funny stuff people are thinking & the story is humor driven

## Alimardan Meets Merlin

If you enjoyed Alimardan's Mischief (the first game in this Alimardan series) you will probably not enjoy this sequel.

The graphics though newer and in some ways cleaner are just not as nice. Alimarden looks like a lima bean with legs arms and a big round head. The character designs in the first game were not this bad and had a sort of childish charm to them but here it's just purposely as weird as it can be for some characters. Alimardan and the "Fair Lady" on whose posterior rests a potted plant are prime examples of this odd choice in character design. The backgrounds are actually not bad but they also don't have anything particularly memorable or interesting.

## Egg of Empire

when i first saw this game on steam i was with my friends and we thought the name was so funny we had to buy it we saw it would be coming out in 2 days so we had a sleepover waiting for the game to be released and we were not disappointed. this game is every thing i want in a indie game its funny has good game play and its fun to learn. when you get into to game it does not tell you how to play so it is trial and error and it feels rewarding like you did this. the only problems i had were i wish the select was not a on screen button and instead assigned to a key or mouse button, as well as the hit boxes might glitch out were every thing is no clip only happened once to me tho and with a quick restart it was back and since you can save it wasn't a problem. but i only played for about a hour so idk how often or if it is a recurring thing at all over all 8/10 aslo if you dont want to do the trial and error type learning the creator made a Tutorial which i will link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln6YMH4Fdos&t=187s

## RaidTitans

I think this game is a hidden treasure on steam.

First of all, compared to other games, the graphics are unique and don't seem to give a strong first impression. But personally, the graphic is a good. In my case, the graphics get used to after 30 min of game play, so it doesn't seem to be a big problem.

The most highly appreciated part is the combat mechanism. It took me a while to learn the game system in the early days, but I get used to two or three quests.

This game have interesting points. First, the story structure is good and addictive. Second, It is a command so the combat system is easy to operate and is fast.

Cool. Good game for less than $10\. It has a good story and easy to play. Monsters in the game are really funny. I like it. Only thing I don't like is small screen size in my laptop.
