This game is amazing! It is a pretty short game, and it can be beaten in only a couple of long sessions. Frankly, I couldn’t really see anybody playing this in many short sessions, as it is a very grind-y game, however, if you often find yourself having long chunks of time in your day, this game is a nice way to fill that time.

Hilarious, brutal, violent, and heartwarming. Those are the words I would use to describe this game. Mostly violent.

ODAY it seems to me providential that Fate should have chosen Braunau on the Inn as my birthplace. For this little town lies on the boundary between two German states which we of the younger generation at least have made it our life work to reunite by every means at our disposal.

German-Austria must return to the great German mother country, and not because of any economic considerations. No, and again no: even if such a union were unimportant from an economic point of view; yes, even if it were harmful, it must nevertheless take place. One blood demands one Reich. Never will the German nation possess the moral right to engage in colonial politics until, at least, it embraces its own sons within a single state. Only when the Reich borders include the very last German, but can no longer guarantee his daily bread, will the moral right to acquire foreign soil arise from the distress of our own people. Their sword will become our plow, and from the tears of war the daily bread of future generations will grow. And so this little city on the border seems to me the symbol of a great mission. And in another respect as well, it looms as an admonition to the present day. More than a hundred years ago, this insignificant place had the distinction of being immortalized in the annals at least of German history, for it was the scene of a tragic catastrophe which gripped the entire German nation. At the time of our fatherland’s deepest humiliation, Johannes Palm of Nuremberg, burgher, bookseller, uncompromising nationalist and French hater, died there for the Germany which he loved so passionately even in her misfortune. He had stubbornly refused to denounce his accomplices who were in fact his superiors. In thus he resembled Leo Schlageter. And like him, he was denounced to the French by a representative of his government An Augsburg police chief won this unenviable fame, thus furnishing an example for our modern German officials in Herr Severing’s Reich.

Johnathan overdoses on various pharmaceutical consumable prescriptions and proceeds to complete the most painstakingly difficult, yet unbelievably satisfying to complete, levels. Very interesting puzzle game. Would recommend if you’ve got some extra time and money.

Total impulse buy. The game was on sale for cheap and I didn’t even finish reading the description. Probably not the best method of purchasing a game,, but I lucked out.

This is a puzzle game. Now, I normally don’t play puzzle games, so I don’t have the biggest library of game knowledge to compare this to, but it reminds me of a cross between Hitman Go and one of those flash games where you try to get the car out of a parking lot, or into a certain spot in a parking lot, etc.,. Each level is a static checkerboard, and pressing in any direction will send your character, the murderer, as far in that direction as he can possibly go. The result is that you have to shift your character around using the level layout in order to reach some harder to get to squares. The game teaches you the mechanics in the beginning tutorial and then gradually ramps up the difficulty as you progress, adding more enviromental factors and different types of NPCs.

This might just be one of my favorite puzzle games of recent times. Something about the 80’s horror movie vibe and voxel character gore has a lot of charm to it. In a way this is like the Broforce of puzzle games, and by that I mean, being able to play all of these classic villians, monsters, and creatures from your favorite horror films and slasher flicks instead of action movies. The humor of this game is spot on with the cheesiness of 80’s slashers, and almost everything is a comedic homage to them or other well known horror movies.

Super Pig X

Super Pig X

As someone who loves challenging games and 2d platformers it’s almost like Super Pig X was designed for me. The controls are extremely fluid and smooth, the levels are extremely fun. The Vegan mode is a clever and playful addition. The dark world levels, the glitch levels, and who doesn’t like bacon. This game is one hell of a task to 100%. . Highly Recommended. The only negative would be the overworld. Dying during the levels is one thing; Dying walking from level to level just to light your way can become tedious.

Crazy, challenging, fun and a little addictive in the “one more level” sense. Nothing is impossible, although close calls might drive you crazy, but the satisfaction after finally beating particularly challenging levels is great. Strongly recommend if you like a challenge and enjoy games which test you and troll you (aka subvert expectations… hardly anything is what it seems at first glance). Would stay up all night again to complete, 10/10!

Emo Simulator

This game gives you an ability to feel yourself an emo. The character’s story is that he is a 19 years old college student who is heavily bullied and not understood by anybody. The game was inspired by Beyond: Two Souls, Life is Strange, and films of Zvyagintsev and Bykov.

We plan to have dialogues, plot, cutscenes and interactive movie style cameras. The plot will have two endings, good and bad.

This is a plot-based game, by subculture developers, for subculture players. By this project we want to tribute to emo culture which we appreciate, we want o create something, relatively relatively (to other emo games) quality about Emo, a one-stop game for all emos, a serious a dramatical game that would become a part of this culture’s legacy.

We want raise important social issues in this game, like an issue of unmotivated agression towards people who are different from main population and what it leads to.

The game does not encourage suicide, just like shooters do not encourage shooting people.

We state it clear: we are against suicide, do not do it.

Features:

  • Be an emo

-Play guitar

-Drink energetic in first person view

-Listen to post-hardcore, the game will feature some russian emo bands who decided to contribute to the project

  • Atmospheric emo’s room. Posters, guitar, amp, razor, things that describe his personality, like certain poems

-Cut the character (do not do it in real life, if you are suicidal call suicide prevention line)

-Be bullied at college (4K experience)

-Make right choices

-Talk with therapist

-Play in a band

Lugubrious ragdoll fun! Destroy them with a large variety of weapons, and perform tasks to progress your funds!

I have played and reviewed Happy Room begin 2017, the original review is the quote above. Recently I found out that there are two modes added at some point. This is a unique game, and I happily jumped back into this game! I shall add my new experiences to the review.

So many unsuspected additions to the launch on Steam and I love it, amazing launch

This game still blows me away, I missed it a lot. Played it years ago as a kid on my old PC with the original cd that I still have buried around somewhere. Even got a digital copy on my Xbox 360

I’ve got a lot of love for this game, the soundtrack, just everything

The game plays well and looks just as good if not a little better than it did, supports my resolution just fine as well

Prepare yourself Punchbowl

Stubbs the Zombie was one of those games that I always wanted to play but never had the opportunity to. When it was on original consoles I didn’t have them. When it launched on steam it wasn’t on my radar due to overall negative reception. For a while there you couldn’t play this one unless you either emulated it, or shelled out hundreds for a copy. With the re-release I finally got a chance to play this game after fifteen years. The game is not without flaws and I’ll get into those below, but there is still a phenomenal feeling of playing a game that felt like a missed experience in your life.

Postal III

Postal III

Rather than repeating every other review on here (either saying it’s a laggy, buggy pile of shit, or sticking up for it without any support), I’m just gonna point put the pros and cons of POSTAL III. I personally enjoy this game, but I can see why others don’t. Many people ask if it’s really that bad, and if they should pass on it or not… I think you should TRY it, especially if you’re a fan of the previous games. But don’t fart around, try rushing through as much as you can - that way you can still qualify for a refund, which you may want.

This game is a mess… and let me count the ways.

1. A broken melee system: Postal, true to the franchise, offers many different tools of the trade to dispose of your enemies. And some of the tools include a sledgehammer, machete, fire axe, and something else I can’t remember. But none of that matters because the only one that works is the fucking machete. It is extremely difficult to land your blow on enemies with other weapons, including your kick, but it doesn’t matter because the fire axe and sledgehammer don’t even do any damage.

I must first admit I won a code for this fabulous game from a competition where I cooked an amazing bowl of soup.

The game starts of as any other game: with a title menu. But this is no ordering title menu. This is the Testbed Terror title menu!

This game has seriously enriched my life and baught meaning and purpose to my everyday existance. I am blessed to not only know the developer but to also be able to enjoy one of his marvoulous creations. There was once a time where I didn’t have Testbed Terror in my life and oh boi was that a different life.
