I believe cooking only takes time away from eating (not to mention the shopping before and washing up after), but was happy to finally see a food-based puzzler that isn’t time-management nonsense.
cooking is very similar to doodle god, but with actual sense, not just combining random stuff to create more random stuff. at least that’s what I thought at first, then blamed myself for being a big-time eater with zero idea about cooking, then realized that part of my being dumbfounded is because everything consists of 2 or 3 ingredients, which may sound easy, but it really isn’t.

Be Hero
Very chill and fun game, you can spend hours in it without realising. If you enjoy farming and relaxing games like Stardew Valley, Graveryard Keeper or Harvest Moon, you’ll love this one. Soundtrack is really good and envolving, the art is absolutey CUTE :3 plus the dialogues and sceneries are full of funny references.
It’s still in early access so keep in mind that there’s a lot more content to come! The developers are always uploading bug fixes and new paches and they are also very communicative with the community, they take into consideration a lot of suggestion of the players.

Epic Chef
The key to comedy is timing. The simple nature of the game mechanics allows the humor to just keep rolling. Is this some new avante garde game? No.
It is fun. Pure and simple fun. Stop worrying about how hard or easy the game is and let it take you on a ride worth the price. If you only care about being some hoity toity gamer critic? Move on.
The cooking is more of a puzzle with ingredients than a mechanic. It sets the canvas for a fun story with characters you will remember and not have to wiki when you need to find them.

Absolutely fantastic! The humour and story telling is amazing. I was afraid, that it was targeting a young audience, but this isn’t the case. Witty characters, great punchlines.
It is also more in depth than I thought. Not mentioning spoilers, there is a lot more going on, than just building your farm and the cooking competitions.
If you look for a great story game, combined with some farming, resource gathering and cooking, you are going to love this game! I would not recommend it, for people who don’t care about a story and are looking more for a cooking simulator.

March of Industry: Very Capitalist Factory Simulator Entertainments
I agree with others that the game is too short for the price. I understand that the design choice was to allow each play through to be around an hour, focusing on replayability. My disapoitment was after the first play through I found myself doing the same thing over and over again.
Pros
-
It’s an automation game
-
Interesting Non-Grid/Non-Tiled approach
-
Mod Support, but not really integrated into the game itself.
-
Humor
Cons
- No Tutorial or information on how an object functions

Once again I’m thrust into the world of making arms for money. Wait, what did I say again? Ignore that part. But here you are, making arms for the Motherland. It’s a simple premise of test and build and sell to expand and reset to be able to build better and faster… for funzies! Most of the time those types of games don’t interest me much at all. I’ve played a few games based on resetting to get a bonus and they just leave me with a bad taste. March of Industry is a great example of how to make that formula fun.

Champions of Anteria™
Champions of Anteria is a sort of hybrid of genres involving real-time combat (sort of) and “puzzle”-based base building outside of combat.
Pros:
-
The puzzle-based nature of the base building was amusing.
-
Combat was OK.
-
I like the ability to choose which battles I will do.
-
Upgrade paths for characters were OK, if uninspired.
Cons:
-

Game was way too long. By the end, I was begging for it to end. Mechanisms had become way too repetitive by end-game.

This is an amazingly addictive game! I really enjoyed playing it and have no doubt you will enjoy it too.
Lots of funny dialogues. Fun soundtrack that always play the right music for the right moment.
Game can be played with complete relaxation and enjoyment or in a challenging way - depending on how you choose to play.
RPG style potions, magics, unique powers for each champions and completely different kinds of locations and enemies makes the game one of a kind. There’s a huge skill tree for you to upgrade a number of things for almost every item in the game.

Don’t Cut Your Hand 2
Its not a bad game. Its actually pretty fun. Some things could be explained better, like right-clicking on a plate to remove items. Also, theres a couple bugs. One of them makes it impossible to beat the game because it won’t give you the right ingredient to finish a recipe. Overall, I feel like I had enough fun for my $2.

Forge and Fight!
I’ve now played this game quite a bit with my younger brother, and we’re having a blast!
It’s rare to find games where a 12 year old and 32 year old can play together and feel like they really compete without anyone holding back, or cooperate and add just as much to the team effort. That’s a pretty rare thing, so I’d recommend it on that basis alone.
But it’s not just good from that aspect. It’s fundamentally a very fun game, with a surprisingly addictive “just one more round” game loop. There’s always that one weapon combo you didn’t try out last round, or that “perfect weapon” you were so close to completing, or you’ve just learned a new way to use the level designs to your advantage. All that really adds a lot of replayability. The game has enough of a skill component to make your style of play feel impactful, but it’s silly enough to always keep things really friendly and chipper.

This game has a charm no other game holds with the wacky colorful and near infinite creations you can build to the carefully balanced combat and mechanics this game truly will raise the bar and as such is highly recommended

Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!
**** Key was provided by developer for review purposes ****
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! is an amazingly fun simulation and management game where you craft weapons for heroes. The game is full of numerous references to games, movies, and literature. I will add a TL;DR at the end.
Gameplay
You are the grandson of the great blacksmith Batata and you are informed by Agent 46 that he has passed away. Agent 46 informs you that you now own 0.01% of the shop while he own 99.99% of the shop. You start off with 3 different smiths to help you out. Each smith you can hire is essentially a parody of one character or another. Hulk Hogan becomes Bulk Bogan and so on. Throughout the game you craft an enormous amount of different weapons for heroes. There are legendary heroes and smiths who most people will recognize. There are 4 main stats that your weapons will use which include Magic, Speed, Accuracy, and Attack. The smiths have expansions into classes which improve their stats at improving certain aspects of a weapon. There are different regions to sell in and different heroes who will buy your weapons. The storyline is enjoyable and there are random events where you have to make a choice which will reward you or punish you. You can send your smiths to sell, shop, explore, train, and vacation. This is a game that will slowly make you want to play more and more with its interesting features.

This game could have been good. It starts out fun but it gets tedious and boring. You have to do research to make new weapons but it renders all the old weapons useless so it just becomes a grind. With your money you can upgrade your place. Normally the upgrade thing ropes me in, but there isn’t enough to it to make it interesting. It’s too bad, I see a lot of potential in this game. It just has phone game syndrome I think, too simple.

Updated after the Prison Boss mode addition.
Prison Boss VR: A hidden gem from a fantastic GAMES developer.
Why would you want to purchase this game? Well if you enjoy time/resource management games with a decent amount of depth (for a VR game) then you might want this game. The pricing system of resources you need to purchase isn’t static (though the changes are predicatable) and the progression system of the main campaign is well thought out and has some depth to it. This may be the first of this type of game for me to play in VR, but I have to say I just really love doing things with my hands, such as picking stuff up and filling up bottles and rubbing things together and putting stuff up to my mouth so I can lick them. It’s the little things, and it’s terribly fun.

prison boss game is an arcade simulation about crafting things from ur prison cell and selling it to get more money, more materials, more crafting, and eventually get u out of ur jail.
basically, the gameplay is like this :
u always start with some basic materials, u craft at night in hidden while the guards patrolling around, and then u sell the products at morning.
with the money u have, u will buy more materials (materials have their own limits everyday), and craft more.
the gameplay become more complex because u have to choose between selling ur products, or dedicate them for jobs u get from ur inmate and increase ur reputation, or unlock more materials or appliances.
