Loop Knight
(6/23/2021)
There’s… not much to the game right now, really. Story mode has two levels which are extremely short, and there’s an endless mode as well as a hell (hard) mode.
Your guy walks forward, you build ramps as he goes, or you destroy the ramps with lasers if you don’t need them.
Gameplay feels a bit clunky, I think being able to stay zoomed out while playing would help. I would prefer the guy to be a bit faster, but gravity a bit lighter (less realistic).
Sound and music are decent, and graphics are pretty good. Game also lags a bit, probably needs to be optimized.

Automachef
While I recommend the game, take it with a grain of salt. Automachef is a perfectly palatable automation game, straightforward to understand and encompassing the Conveyor Belt Spaghetti type of logistics. However, it has a lot of half-baked ideas that just take up space in the pantry and don’t add much, if anything, to the game.
For instance, kitchen disasters are something you have to deal with eventually, such as fires and infestations. However, because one of these occurring typically ruins a recipe AND reduces your reputation (if it hits 0 you fail the level) it spoils the level anyway, so the machines that fix these problems (doubly so as they will almost certainly happen more than once) won’t save you from a restart. An extra helping of shame goes to the Sprinkler which puts out fires but ruins ingredients in its radius.

Have you ever wanted a game that mixes both cooking and coding to create meals in the most efficient way? I didn’t think I did either. That was, until I started playing through Automachef.
Automachef is an indie puzzle game developed by Hermes Interactive and published by Team17. In it, you take control of a human trying to create automated kitchens using the tools at your disposal. You aren’t alone though, as you have a trusty sidekick who is definitely a human named Robert Person. He helps to introduce you to a lot of the game’s core mechanics, along with talk about his plan to feed the world. That plan definitely does not involve taking over the human race as he is definitely one of us. All jokes aside though, here’s what I thought of Automachef.

Stack Gun Heroes
Stack Gun Heroes combines fast paced combat with addicting base building. Invent your own gun and take it on challenging missions to earn valuable resources. You process the loot back home in a factory of your own design.
Gun Building
The Stack Gun can be customized however you want. Will you make a gun that shoots sentry drones that chase and shoot enemies? A gun that abducts people into the upper stratosphere? Or maybe a gun that shoots yourself at the enemy, killing them with the impact damage.
These aren’t pre-made classes. Players invent their own strategies. Chances are you will come up with a playstyle the developer has never thought of.
Factories
Your base is a giant factory that you build with the Stack Gun. You will use it to process loot into items that make you more powerful. There are tons of base machines to build, you can unlock tech infinitely, and the factory has no maximum size.
Features
-
Make any gun. Want a gun that cuts off limbs? A gun that shoots guns at people? A gun that makes you fly? Why not all 3 in one? Combine any gun parts for whatever effects you want.
-
Get so much loot you need to design a factory to process it all. No boring menus, you interact with your machines by doing sick wall-jumps and wall-slides on them. Efficient production is radical!
-
Try out BILLIONS of procedural superpowers. Can you find a use for that power that teleports all nearby bullets wherever you point?
-
You can bring as many friends as you want into online co-op to beat very challenging maps, assuming you aren’t an incredible badass who has no friends.
-
Infinite endgame lets you advance in power forever. Start with “normal” FPS guns and before long you’ll be accidentally killing yourself with nukes 10x the size of the map and running into walls at supersponic speeds.
-
Test your most irritating guns on your friends in deathmatch. They can’t be mad. It’s for science!
-
Run through enemies, wall-slide down skyscrapers, dismember robots, collect superpowers, launch people into space. Every time there was a cool idea, it went in the game.
After 9 years and over 16,000 hours working on this project it’s almost ready. Stack Gun Heroes is my dream game. Hopefully it’s yours too!

Division of Labour
In Division of Labour, the player takes on the role of The Manager in a developing nation called Auriverde during a world ecological collapse.
The player manages the workforce and machinery of a factory, fulfilling contracts and earning profits for the Overseer Corp. Buying resources, manufacturing goods, managing the workers and facing moral and ethical decisions are the core of the game.
Compassion
The player has the option to make their workers more comfortable to improve efficiency, or pay them more to increase worker happiness. Events may occur where the player can do a favour for a worker, give time off for a holiday or generally try to help them.
Exploitation
However, Overseer Corp always demands larger and larger profits, and so balancing these becomes the core of the game. To make greater and greater profits, more sacrifices will need to be made and corners will need to be cut.
Storytelling
Along the way, the player will be presented with moral and ethical decisions regarding their works and the world at large. Whether it’s simply a worker who needs time of for medical reasons or an earthquake on the other side of the world sending migrants flocking to Auriverde for work and security, there’s always decisions to make.
Development Progress
A playable demo will be available very soon. To stay up to date with development you can follow our site. For now, consider adding us to your wishlist!
Project Existence - Multiplayer Sandbox
Before anyone gives this game a bad review, remember it is in very early access. I have enjoyed the game so far for what it is, and I can’t wait to see it grow into something much bigger.
Devs are very responsive on Discord and are always happy to answer any questions/suggestions players have.
– Real player with 24.6 hrs in game
Most current reviews are poor due to it being a very early version game, the game is actually well put together for such an early version of the game, and the Devs are awesome
If you are reading my review you are reading the best one, please ignore all currently negative reviews and either try it or write the name down and come back later…
I hope the Devs, the players and everyone else has a lovely day, afternoon, night (relatively)
