So i made a 120km/h road for my goods truck and somehow some city car think “We should try this fast lane, mate! LOL YOLO” even though their fricking car can’t go faster than 50km/h. I’m worried that this will slowdown my shipment. I try everything to stop this motherf###er so they can’t enter my fast lane. But it’s not working. They even go full “F##k the police” and proceed to get past my 100km/h road mark. I feel hopeless…

But then i see something in the corner of my game window. There is my 120km/h truck. In front of him there is these a####le city car. He is slowing down just as i thought. But in the next second, everything change…

This is good nostalgia. I remember when I played this game as a kid with my dad on Linux and I just enjoyed the fact that I could play with this computer game which was something amazing for me at the time. I have a lot of memories of this game, so as soon as I saw the steamer coming out, it was right here in my wish list when I finally had the opportunity to play it after many years, it was like a childhood dream and memories of childhood, but now for the game. I don’t know how to evaluate a 20-year-old game, but if I take it as I should have enjoyed the game, and even now I enjoy a lot of community modes. maybe it might seem to someone from 10 hours in the game there are few to review, but a few years ago we were addicted to her with her, so I have mine and her today, at the time when I write this review, I got it and showed it to him that we played together again and we were happy so I evaluate very well just because of the memories and also because I spent a lot of time in the game and even after so many years I like to turn it on again and play. That’s all for sure try the game is free and it’s awesome.

I have hundreds and hundreds of hours on this game before it arrived here on steam. It’s great. If you like transport games, you’ll love this one. It’s easy to approach (in some aspects a little too much, as an example passangers and mail have no desired destination: you only need to move them from one place to any other place that accepts passengers or mail. by the way, this is the only major flaw in the game that I feel that should be changed).

The graphics are very minimal, but effective. The background music is fine.

Well all in all it’s not a bad game. A little more difficult than I feel it should be. I mean by the time you build up a little money you need to repair the rails or your train which takes your resources up fast and hard. then you can’t produce enough to make the money. So you spend your cash on more raw materials that you use to repair but now you are out of cash. It’s quite frustrating. It’s not that it’s a bad game but they sure could loosen up the purse strings a bit. The diamonds are almost impossible to get so when you spend them up you’re screwed. And it’s not fair for as hard as it is to get them that the tutorial tries to get you to spend them. Either way like I said. Not a bad game. Just a bit rough. Could use some better bonuses to help out or something. I may play a little longer but I will probably lose intrest in banging my head against the wall.

A browser game that lacks a lot of the polish needed to make it into something amazing. Hindered by a limited interface that has obviously been designed for touch-screen control firstly and gameplay depth a very distant second. You might get a hundred hours out of it if your patient but having to fish around every city node one-by-one to check for prices, the inability to unload a train you have already loaded with cargo, inability to rotate building tiles, obnoxious tutorial and a claustrophobic UI that makes me feel like I am looking through a letterbox leave me deeply unsatisfied with this game.

I have been playing simualtors like these for many years, so here’s my review:

This game is Alright, it’s very balanced in nature, quite flexible orders and rule system, while having a mid-range graphics capabilities, with very friendly, yet stupid AI system.

The forums have been very good to me over the years.

CMP is alright for keeping track of content, it is very friendly for the beginner for managing and sorting content, but it gets less and less flexible as your experiance grows.

The thing I like most aobut CMP, would be its “Content Creator Plus”, it gives you the tools to create content pretty nicely, CMP also sorts content for you into diferent catagories

I have spent many hours happily playing this game, but I can’t really recommend it as a “game” because of a couple things:

  1. Framerate, audio, entire application responsiveness takes a massive hit without severely limiting texture qualities and draw distance, making for a high cost to actually take advantage of the game’s optimized graphics options. Two upgraded computers later, I still have to cripple the draw distance and texture quality in order to play without the game regularly freezing up for a few seconds every time a bunch of new content needs to be drawn, such as when you pan the camera around.

One day I said to myself, “I wonder if there’s a VR model train game?” Did a quick Google search and came across this awesome treasure, and it’s everything you expect in a VR model train game. There are still a couple of bugs and some room for improvement, but this game is at a great place right now and can only get better. While there is not a fleshed out tutorial at this time, once you read the quick start guide in the forums, the controls are pretty intuitive. There is a solid foundation in the game physics, though I believe it could use some minor tweaking. The dev seems pretty active in continually pushing out improvements and bug fixes. In my first single day of owning the full version, I’ve already sunk around 5 hours into this game, and I won’t be slowing down any time soon.

Out of all the VR games out there this is one of my favorites, the snapping can be a pain sometimes to get used too but once you do, it really is amazing. Ive spent many hours relaxing and poutting tons of detail into layouts, so much sop i normally lag the game into reprojection.

Unlike other VR games with not much real application, or another wave shooter, this one really sucks anyone in.

If you are like me go and buy this game right now, and you will get the full v alue out of this game.

Feels sort of like decorating a Cracker Barrel with the IKEA catalog. Assets aren’t cohesive to each other or their environment and era. Expected objects specific to train stations. Not enough trains. Casual and relaxing house flipper adjacent to the inactive railroad.

The soundscape feels hollow without any train sounds. You could still hear them from quite far away if showing them roll by was infeasible. I think I was expecting to restore a station to it’s former golden era glory. Or remodel a steam depot for the needs of the diesel age. Or even re-branding a branch line after being bought up during consolidation. Or just standard yearly maintenance. It doesn’t feel like anyone on the team is actually a rail fan. It doesn’t feel like anyone bothered to talk to people who are actually into trains. I have never seen a ficus in a depot. Even in pictures. Even in historical pictures when people were into ferns. I think I’m trying to say that rail fans have been known to be rather picky and this feels like a house flipper game with railroad tracks. They’re onto something but miss the mark for me in it’s current form.
