The Last Dinner

The Last Dinner

Fairy bad, albeit free, and an honest attempt. I’ve played numerous dark, blurry, out of scale VR horror experiences, and this isn’t the worse, but it’s close. This is drek from Chinese university students on Viveport being put on Steam, which is a thing I do support, but maybe because of thatreason I accidentally played it twice, not remembering anything about the first playthrough.

! I quess they couldn’t call it the ‘Last Supper’ because Zombie Jesus is a bullet sponge, and you don’t get guns in this. Wait a minute, I think you might get a pistole. I don’t remember. Who cares? I don’t care! https://youtu.be/hzCLwbJmIgE

In short: This game seems to be a complete imitation of another VR game, Visage, with no novelty in content and a strong sense of patchwork in the game scenes. I don’t quite understand why they all like to do European and American style scenes. Should Chinese architecture not be more distinctive? A garden, or a hutong, the game has no distinctive features, and the content is not rich. In addition, in the game, the bloodstain effect on the screen is just like the paint on the drawing board. In the 10-point system, I can only give 5 points, thanks to the hard work of game makers.

Fear in Hospital

Fear in Hospital

It’s always delightful to find new lows in indie horror game-making. You ready for this one? WHEN YOU PUT AWAY YOUR FLASHLIGHT, THE BEAM OF LIGHT REMAINS.

Not a great start. Neither was the early foyer that had the exact same tree in the middle of it as The Hat Man: Shadow Ward. And identical staircases to either side of said foyer. And identical doors at the top.

I didn’t think much of that game, but I think even less of this one. Not that I expected much from a game with this title (!), but I was still happy to accept a free advance copy for one of my Curator pages. Unfortunately…WRONG CURATOR PAGE! Occasionally I get perfectly passable games gifted to my Truly Horrible Horror Games page; but here’s one product I regret accepting for my other Curator page. The one that I only put positive reviews on.

There is no fear in this hospital!

I’m not sure whether that’s a good thing or a bad thing, but aside from being jumpscared a few times by the screamers, I never really felt scared by this one. You’re walking around collecting keys and trying to get from door to door. There are some incredibly cheesy effects that just aren’t all that terrifying and your flashlight dims when you lose battery power. There are batteries all over the place, but the developer forgot to include the code to put new batteries into your flashlight. Of course…you can keep your flashlight out or put it away and have the exact same effect. And of course, if you need to renew your flashlight, you can save your game and reboot your file to have a fresh flashlight.

Hellbound: Survival Mode

Survival Mode for the game Hellbound tho I am yet to get into the base game. I must say I enjoyed my time in Hellbound: Survival Mode. Tho There's not much content involved but the fast gory action-packed gameplay occupied me for hours.

Developed and published by Saibot back early 2018, Hellbound: Survival Mode is a fast-paced action-packed shooter. An extension of the base game you can give this Free to play game mode a try to understand what you might expect from the base game.

### Rating: fair (6/10)

**Introduction**

Hellbound: Survival Mode is a first-person single player monster arena shooter survival. You have to survive waves of monsters, some of which use same variety of weapons as you.

**Gameplay & Story: 5/10**

The gameplay is quite simple - you are in a quite limited arena map surrounded by lava and have to survive waves of enemies spawning and rushing or shooting at you, depending if they are melee or ranged. The difficulty of the waves increase with time, which not only spawns more and better enemies, but also gives them some buffs that increase their health, damage or speed. The story mode is currently not present in Hellbound, but the devs are working on it (and still sometimes publish smaller updates to the survival mode). The game is made in the oldschool quake style, so expect it to be rather quick and explosive.

## HVOR

A fun horror shooter. It's fun to play, the graphics don't hurt your eyes and the effects are decent. Worth a try to play it in co-op mode!

The game is not that bad as everyone makes it out to be. But also not that good, it has potential and if the developer worked a bit more on it this could be a fun game.

There are some problems with the controls, and the character's walking looks weird when moving sideways. When chased sideways, and running backwards it's sometimes impossible to shoot the enemy, I think this is a bug.

There is very little enemy variation, and their sound is very repetitive. Oftentimes it seems like they step into a glitch on the ground and start to shake violently.

This game is sure to be the next Aerial Guardians

It has the exact same locked camera mechanic as Aerial Guardians

But do you take fall damage when you jump in Aerial Guardians? NO!

BUT ON THE FROZEN MAP IN THIS GAME YOU DO!

Also the game has a no limit ping option as well as limiting ping. The no limit is more or less just a 0 ping option for all you gamers with direct connection to a submarine communications cable.

This game has a bright future ahead of it if the developer goes the path of Aerial Guardians

## Jump To Die 2 - Bloody Soul

I do recommend this game because it'll keep your interest up to floor 300 but after that you're wasting your time without the usual reward idle games are meant to waste your time but this game the cost of everything grows so large and the rewards from void cross just pales in comparison for multiple reasons the cost for time pieces grows so large the code geass and blood moon which are two of the main ways to gain souls you can't scale it outside of leveling them the code geass probability game as explained in the game doesn't seem to work correctly. Something that's really good about the game is you can get the premium currency blood super easy so you don't have to pay to unlock anything but even with those upgrades advancing is near impossible once you get to 400ish without spending a gratuitous amount of time. I don't know why the other colors of shrines are in the game when the White shrines upgrade all the monsters and the colors only do certain ones. The void cross over upgrade is based off of how far you get in the game and just doesn't scale large enough for the time piece need every 10 levels the cost of anything in the game grows so large but my play through to 424 here with tips on how to get farther in the game if you want to see if you can get farther then I did with cut scenes up to that point: https://youtu.be/PftKLOVDlPs If you have any questions feel free to hmu at the link and I'll get back to you ASAP I have a pretty solid grasp on how everything works in the game.

Good Game, not enough content, can finish it all in maybe 10 hours. Too easy to get everything and the research has no real gain, for example, The Fire demon gets an extra %50 Damage, but, in the research options 2 of the choices are "Evrit's Despair" which increases the Fire Room Effectiveness by 10% and "Light of Omniscient" which increases the effectiveness of "All Elements" rooms by 10%, they have the same cost (The All Elements Rooms cost 50% more but Research is the same) and same upgrade ratios so there is absolutely no reason to buy or research the element specific rooms especially when you get an assortment of demons, cannot control which elements you get, and all demons can use the "All Elements" rooms where as only Fire Demons can use the Fire Rooms. This isn't good because it gives you absolutely no reason to research or purchase 80% of the research/rooms (Water, Wind, Dust, Fire, All Elements), if you simply go down the path of All Elements then you don't need to waste time or resources on the other paths as they are no easier and give no further boosts, even if the Fire Demon uses and All Elements room to boost damage, it will still get the +50% damage as that is a race/element trait and not an advantage of the room.

## LET IT DIE

I found out about this game while looking at random people's broadcasts. And i'm glad i got to know about it! It's released for PS4 about 2 years back and I'm guessing they just port it to PC like a year later?..

Now that said, i've only decided to write a review ONLY after about 800+ hrs of gameplay.. yes; 800+ hrs i played this game and only then i've decided to say whether it is worth your time/ money on this. This is my in-depth review.

**IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO READ THROUGH ALL THESE EXPLANATION JUST SKIP TO THE LAST PARAGRAPH.**

Disclaimer: I actually love this game, but I also love many other games and lying is possibly the dumbest thing anyone can ever do, so I'm offering you my completely honest and objective opinion about the things at hand, which comes from an experienced player and someone who plans on continuing to play this game.

Also, if you like this game, check out the "Elminage" series, "Elminage Original" and "Elminage Gothic" are on steam and you're going to love them.

Do you play games because you want: to have a good time/you enjoy a cool story/some "fun" gameplay/like a good challenge?

ATTACK OF THE SLOW-MO DINOS !

The bad :

- Loading times are awful : SSD recommended.

- Graphic requirements are high : Higher then my (~300$) GTX 970 anyway.

- Dinos that reach you pile up right on top of you : Very annoying.

- It's a(nother) wave shooter.

The good :

- It DOES work on my Windows 7 (64 bit), and with my CV1 Touch controllers.

- Graphics are great (watch the screencaps), music is good.

- It's free.

- IT has some (unintended ?) wacky fun moments built-in, which is why it manages to pull off a positive recommendation from me.
