This game doesn’t really make any sense at all. There are many times in which you pick an option to progress the story that could have a different outcome each time. Even if you pick the same choices that were right before, you could still get sent back which made me lose faith if the options I chose were correct

Friend ReQuest - A Playable Teaser
Most of the game is pretty boring, so as to show how dull this person’s life really is. However, that doesn’t exactly make it enjoyable to play, and there’s barely any story for the first half of the game. Then, for the second half, there’s more story, but less to do in general.
I also have a habit of pressing esc to check my stats/ pause the game, and that exits this game. There is no save function, so I had to restart. They do tell you that there is no save function at the beginning of the game though.

I’m sooooo excited for Amity Chain and this really sold it! Amity feels so real and all her conversations are so fleshed out I’m really looking forward to seeing more from her and other characters. Really neat spritework that I’m also excited to see more of!
Tip: stick around at the “end” of the game when the screen goes white!

Saving You From Yourself
I like that there is interest to create a game to explore the phase before transitioning in therapy, but this game does it in a really lack luster way. Concept is great but it would have been better if we had more dialogue choices and more character to actually explore the girl and the affect of denial or acceptance of treatment. Also there is only one patient when there should have been more, some that would’ve shown different reactions or outcomes when given the same choices. It almost feels as though the right thing to do according to this game is give immediate approval, because there are no other patients to deal with there is no comparisons possible. It doesn’t make you think, and you don’t have any reason to care for this patient when she blows you off at the end. There is a lot possible with this concept and a lot of important stories that can be made and explored but there is almost no care at all in this.

The Lost Mythologies
This is as already stated by the developers basicly some demonstration rather than a game.
Why Thumbs up? Well you got it for free and if you dont like it you didnt lose anything but a couple of minutes in the first place.
Is there another reason for thumbs up? Yes the game is fluent and it has some sweet graphics.
The environment so far is themed very very simple, few dark chambers, some Chinese styled roofs, mountains and trees, snow and a starlight sky. Very simple to plain enemies. Nice snow and lightning effects. So far the job is done. Read about some spawning bugs yet but I couldnt find any problems so far. Animations are cool but currently not too much in variation of course.

Given what this game is, a student project, it’s not bad. It should probably be listed as a demo, rather than a full game though.
Just going through one play through these are the things that stand out to me;
-
You fight the camera way too much when you try to run in a dirrection other than you’re looking if you’re not locked on an enemy.
-
Jumping seems to be a redundant mechanic for the most part. There isn’t really anything you need to jump to in this game and your attacks don’t interact well with jumping. In fact, it looks like you can only fast attack, heavy attacks don’t seem to do anything in the air.

Elisa: The Innkeeper - Prequel
Briefly: A free comedy/romance visual novel where your decisions have a refreshingly profound effect on the consequences.
Elisa: The Innkeeper - Prequel is meant as a teaser (or a demo) for the upcoming full visual novel, which was succesfully kickstarted in mid-July ‘16.
Introducing the crew
The premise is a bit silly: It’s a medieval setting based in Florence. Elisa is the innkeeper who (seemingly) inadvertently makes almost every guy who visits fall in love with them. Yet she is not the protagonist.

Another candidate for the “Mixed Review” category, but ultimately, I’m going to have to down-vote this game.
Elisa: The Innkeeper - Prequel is a visual novel focused on Italian culture. The story is essentially focused on a love triangle between a pompous prince who feels the world owes him, a merchant who believes money can fix every problem, and a manipulative innkeeper known as Elisa (who toys with the Merchant, the Prince, and even the sexist Knight who’s obviously been hurt in his past that leads to his sexist behavior). To be perfectly honest, I don’t like any of the characters and the story comes off as a cliche.

how do you Do It?
After 300 hour of playing how do you do it. I have scientifically reached the conclusion that reproduction between the two dolls isn’t possible, due to the fact that they don’t have eggs or sperm XD
10/10 doing more research atm
600 Hour Review:
Slop Slop Slop ~ hmmmmmmm this is getting somewhere, there are slight moans which could be heard slightly from the background. I do not currently find this disturbing as i believe it is a sign of enjoyment from the act. In the future i believe the dolls might finally have a child! I’ll call the child Bob… maybe, only if the dolls’ eggs were fertile ;)

Long story short: Sex jokes aside, this game does have some interesting ideas about the view of sex to adolescents. Although more of an art project than a game, it only takes a minute or two and is worth at least checking out, no matter what kinds of games you are into.
You can immediately tell how do you Do It? was made in a game jam. It barely has much content at all, and everything about it seems so child-like. And yet, that’s the message being conveyed; how a young girl privately learns about sex, dealing with the confusion and embarrassment of it all. While nothing amazing as a game, the experience is interesting and concise in a way that it’s worth checking out and even analysing if you have the time.

Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt
This is a relatively short RPG/Shoot-em up/Bullet Hell sorta hybrid with a Gameboy aesthetic that’s similar to games like Undertale that play with genre-bending. While not as in depth as Undertale takes it’s narrative, gameplay and morality system, it still feels as fun to play, boasts a great soundtrack and offers one heck of a good time!
Starting with three difficulty options, Princess Remedy leaps from Saturn(?) and safely lands in A World of Hurt. In this world almost everyone is ill and Princes Remedy is the only one who possesses the cure. Enter “Healing Mode” after talking to a disease stricken NPC and get ready for some action! Ms. Remedy only shoots forward, which happens automatically. She just shoots nonstop. It’s kinda funny. She’s also equipped with healing flasks that act as grenades when pressing the action button. Don’t worry, the action button is every button on the controller.

An hour-long game with some nice retro gameplay and a story with some cute twists.
Play as Remedy, the princess of Saturn and graduate of Healing School. Your goal is to heal the prince of Hurtland who is said to suffer from EVERY ailment to exist, but to get to him, you need to heal many injured/sick/emotional people along the way.
You will heal flowers, clay people, monsters, a dark lord, animals, confused people, and sad people through the power of very short danmaku sequences. Destroy all the “monsters” of the sequence and the healing will be successful.

The night of fire stealing/盗火之夜
Having an issue getting past the one gang member in the back alley, it refused to load thr face character (i guess) and will not allow me to proceed with the game. Pleade look into and fix. Other than that, it’s a great game, so far.

Cinderella Phenomenon - Otome/Visual Novel
If you are a male button-mashing adrenaline junkie, have no patience, or simply no time nor understanding for romantic sentimentality, please leave this page. Now. This offering is not for you. For everybody else, I cannot recommend this highly enough, and that opinion would not alter even if it was for sale at £20. What you get for downloading this game is 5 unique, engaging stories for the price of none.
After completing my first route and perhaps inevitably getting a bad ending, I decided to have a read through the negative reviews and see what it is that people were finding to dislike about it.

Ladies, meet the best rated otome VN on Steam. It was a pleasure playing it and to write a review for it.
I kept thinking a lot on why this game might be free- because it’s way too good to be FREE!. There could be many explanations but to support the creators for now I recommend buying the Digital Artbook.
Story
You follow the life of the ice princess who has no kindness in her heart and helps her break her fairytale curse. Along the way, you’d have help from one of the “hot” male characters who would help the princess be kind and achieve the happy ever after ending. After being affected by the “Cinderella” curse- Lucette, joins the Marchen with hopes of ending the curse and going back to the palace. Little did she know that she would need to complete 3 good deeds to break her curse. With the help of other members at the Marchen, Lucette goes on a journey of understanding what true love and friendship means. The story has an extremley original concept where the Grimm brothers orginal fairytales are utilized as a curse for each male character you can be with. Even though romance is the main plot- the VN would also give priority for friendship as well. Basically, the story is a fight between good an evil, witches and fairies.

Invisible Apartment
EDIT (PLEASE READ): The developer responded to a thread about my complaints: http://steamcommunity.com/app/351790/discussions/0/617329505862063026/
Indeed, this is just a taste of what is to come, a small piece of a larger arc. He had a little mistake of not specifying this, so hopefully he’ll change the store description and maybe fix it up a bit. Click the thread link for a more in-depth explanation from the Developer. Hope you all enjoy this game, but realize there is more to come! This is merely a demo of sorts to keep you interested. I still highly reccomend this title!

I was interested to play this game after noticing the newest game to the series just came out. So i thought before i spend money on it, i’ll play the first game so i know what is going on and with all the positive reviews, i thought this was going to be a good series i could fall inlove with. And it just so happens to be free. But even if its a free game to play, it doesn’t make it a good game. As you can see, this is a visual novel which has choices you can make. But the choices in this game are dead end choices where you must pick the right one to continue onward. That was a huge disappointment to me because i kept picking the ones that got me caught. Linear novels with no tweaks for pick your own path really bother me because i felt duped in a way. And for whatever reason the “quicksave” button would not let me save at my current point. So i had to start from the very beginning which was frustrating till i found out if you go into the menu and hit “Save” it will work. When you make a visual novel, you want the reader to fall inlove with the plot, the characters and to pull them in. But i was somewhat lost by this novel. When you first start, the game puts you right in the middle of something that you won’t understand and does not explain very well later on. And right off the bat you can tell this game felt rushed a bit or was mainly just a project to see if someone could actually make a visual novel. However, even if the art style and charming music were a nice touch which are positive things to note, the scene’s did not flow well at all and made you felt like the developers didn’t care if the dialog flew from one end of the town to a apartment or a rooftop without warning. I just couldn’t understand it. The writing isn’t good either but i kept playing it because i really want in my heart to like this so i can try out the 2nd game. So i pushed on, in hopes it would get better. But after reading more of the story, the main character Bunny started to make me mad. It was hard to tell that she was talking to the AI “Mask” and not at the other character she was interacting with in the physical world. But it wasn’t just that, it was her personality as well. She seemed to act like a child, not a skilled hacker. I just resented the character even further than i did in the beginning. And also what i noticed is how this novel lacks any descriptive details about the places bunny travels too. Shes in a park Well what did the park look like? shes in a hospital Well, can we get some more details please instead of bunny constantly talking? I love visual novels so much when the story comes to life, but i cannot recommend this to any of my friends and advise you to look elsewhere. But hey at least this game was free so no one had to waste anything but their time.
