Drop Alive
Review brought to you by:
TentacleBunny’s Cozy Cottage
Drop Alive is a very cute and fluffy platformer that will challenge you to have fun and have good time through all the game levels.
Drop Alive was developed by Invi Games and published by Ipsilon Developments and is accessible to everyone since it is a free to play game on Steam.
In Drop Alive, you play as a small drop of water lost inside a big house and you have to help her get out of there through several challenging levels. It also plays away with the climate conditions and the multiple water states to help you traverse and reach the final stage of each level. You also have to collect 3 special coins on every single level to have a perfect score and sometimes those are not easy to accomplish. Especially tricky because if you die, you will have to restart the level from the very start.

Very adorable free to play game. I’ve 100%’d the whole game, gaining all achievements and unlocking all the costumes. For some reason, when I went back into the game after getting the final achievement (went to unlock the costumes, you use the coins you gained to “purchase” them), the game acted as if I hadn’t fully completed some levels, which as I already have the achievements and all my coins were still there so I could purchase all the unlockables, it didn’t really matter. But be warned that this game does have a chance to not always save your progress.

You know how some games make the beginning easier so you get that feeling of accomplishment before you’re stomped on?
That doesn’t happen here. :)

100 hidden frogs
A meticulously hand-drawn, hidden object, naturesque PnC game. And for free. Well, what am I doing here to tell you that? You go play it yourself, I mean it’s got achievements for all my achievmaniacs out there (I saw a friend get 100+ achievements so I was like on the bandwagon then on), it’s got a nice soothing soundtrack built-in, it LOOKS GOOD, and finally, those achievements are really easy to get, just click the frogs man.
But, if you’re like me and you can’t find the last damn frog for some reason because of the green, white, and black colours blinding your vision, look no further and use this guide some awesome dude made:

WELP this is a quick game about 30 minutes give or take
the game premise is find 100 hidden frogs… thats it… kinda like find waldo or i spy…. honestly its not bad for a quick easy game but thats all i have to say about it so meh.
as a gamer: its casual gaming at its best just go in and look around i got to the last 10 before i needed a guide to find them
as a achievement hunter… its kinda funny because you go through and click one and get achievement click another get more achievements… so yeah all 100 achievements are one per frog so its easy

Island Saver
Let me preface this with the fact that I am a (nearly) 26 year old adult, and yes, I am aware that this game’s demographic is more for younger kids.
That being said, I love this game! It’s cute and charming, sickeningly so at times (who gave the animals the right to be so cute!?!). The art style is vibrant, stylized, and incredibly eye-catching. I know other reviews have said it, but yes, this is sort of like the weird love-child of Viva Piñata and Slime Rancher; a combo I didn’t know I needed.

Island Saver has the name of a bank plastered all over it, and they sure let you know it right off. From the start you’re bombed with the concept of keeping your money in a bank. If you keep your money in a bank, you get little interest pop-ups now and again. Banks are so handy, you guys!
At times, the game strong-arms you into taking out a loan so you can experience the magic of having a bank give you money and then hound you to pay it back for the rest of the level. Currency exchange becomes a minor mechanic, where you must wait for some other country’s currency to drastically drop in value against your own before cashing in so money can fountain at you.

Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion
I’m even afraid of the cardboard cutouts.
MORE THAN THE ACTUAL MONSTERS.
Specimen 4 is my second favorite because of her chase theme.
6 is my first.

I have always criticized the approach that many horror games and movies took nowadays, pelting your face with cheap, annoying jumpscares every 20 minutes when you’re bored out of your mind watching or playing said material.
I saw the title of this game and I was like “Well, this must be a parody of something I absolutely despise, this must be good!”
….My god.
I never thought I would say “NOT THE FUCKING PUMPKING AGAIN, FUCK!” So many times.
Room 25, there is nothing scary about this game, silly, cheap jumpscares.

Super Animal Royale
For a battle-royale game, it is surprisingly more casual and still fun to mess around with friends. Each matches are short (7 minutes or so) and definitely feels less frustating than most battle-royale game that I have played.
It just had a unique style that makes it different from another BR genre. I just love how there are a decent amount of customizations, despite the lack of blood and gore that appears to be missing. I’d like to thank the devs for listening to the feedback for the past few years.

Clover Tale
It might not be a pay to win, but it’s a pay to play. You must spend energy to play a puzzle. You have limited energy and it accumulates at 1 per 3 minutes or so. As the puzzles get harder they cost more energy. In order to refil energy you need crystals that you get when leveling. You must do a bunch of puzzles for a level and the crystals you get are few, not really enough to play more than a game, two at the beginning. So… you must buy crystals with actual money or not play the game other than for a few minutes every couple of hours. I like to play games when I want to. I don’t want to only be able to play for a few minutes and then be locked out. I’ve played a lot of microtransaction games and this one bites. Spending money for items to help prevent you from replaying games over and over again because of bad chance at loading is one thing. This is another. The ad at the loading screen, the inability to play when you want or for how long you want, the puzzles that you really have to redo over and over again for completion, let alone perfect score, means it’s just a money suck. Skip it. Not even worth $5 if you could get rid of all the microtransactions, ads, and requests for you to buy their overpriced crystals.

Everything about this game tries to annoy you into not-so-micropayments. You have an energy bar that is depleted by playing match-3 games; the higher your player and energy level, the more expensive the levels become. This way you can only play a few matches every few hours. Half (or more) of the matches are so unfair that you don’t even come close to finishing them. (I’ve played many match-3 games and this was the most annoying one.)
You receive items by fighting animals with items on the overview map, completing item collections and finishing quests. The quests become especially tedious later in the game, where you have to successfully complete level A 5 times, but to even attempt A once you need item 1, which you can only get in level B for which you need item 2, which you can only get from animal character C for which you need item 3, which you can only get from level D. Pair this with the fact that you’ll be able to complete at most half of the attempts (sometimes more like 1/5) and you usually only get the items you need from every 2nd win, you need literally tens to hundreds of matches to complete them.

NEKOPALIVE
Day 16:
My food supply is running low and I am beginning to wonder if it’s time to finally remove the VR headset that has become practically glued to my face from intensive use. But alas, how can I remove this wonderful device when it is providing me with such a graceful sight? I have watched the same dance over 10,000 times, however, I cannot bring myself to pull my lingering gaze away from it. It has ingrained itself into the deepest depths of my mind.
! When will this madness end…

The Good Time Garden
this might not be suitable for persons who have suffered from sexual trauma as there are a couple of lines in the game that could be triggering but aside from that this is surprisingly a really good game! it is very short and to the point with its message and theme but that is probably for the best
also, you will be in our hearts forever dude with a hole in his chest. you’ll be missed

There’s not much I can say about this without spoiling what’s here. Let’s just say there are games and then there are artistic experiments masquerading as games. This is an art project with game elements.
What you see on the store page is what you get: A throbbing pink squishy world full of naked creatures in a short surreal experience. Feel free to interpret it as innocently or as perverse as you prefer.
It’s about 15 to 20 minutes of exploring that climaxes into an abstract metaphor for… whatever you need it to be. Along the path is just a relaxing music track and some silly creatures to meet in this casual maze of squishy pink.
