Hm, strange how this game doesn't have more praise! I think it's awesome! Fast-paced and adrenaline-pumping with a great classic arcade feel!
Not that there aren't a fair few other games that shoot for that same goal, but I think this one does it particularly well!
Highly recommended! As for how much I think it's worth paying for it… I paid less than £1.50 but it's definitely worth more than that I think ^^

See that trailer? That's the sort of action you're going to be pulling off when you get used to the flow of the game.
ULTRAKILL is made by a developer who knows his audience, and his gameplay design choices show it. In this early access build, you have an arsenal of five different guns with two or more alternate versions which you can carry all at once, and two different fists. They all have their unique uses. My favorite guns are the Marksman Revolver (which allows you to pull off a skillshot by hitting an airborne coin) and the Pump Charge Shotgun (which allows you to charge up the power of your shotgun and makes you explode if you overcharge, wiping out enemies around you). The variety of this game lends to the player being encouraged to swap weapons frequently to avoid the animations and fire guns faster.

Absolutely one of the best FPS available right now. My personal favorite.
Taking influences from legendary games like DMC and Quake is a big deal and I thought that there is absolutely no way that someone can deliver that as a solo dev.
The game somehow manages to do that very competently. Quake influences are very obvious with a really amazing and skill expressive movement system that lets you build up insane amounts of speed and gives you even more freedom than Quake to zoom around the map, and a really smart take on the ID arsenal that I think gets overlooked when talking about this game. For example the classic way a railgun type weapon is handled in ID games is giving it a smallish cooldown while making it pretty strong. ULTRAKILL amps it to 11 and gives it about 10 (?) seconds of downtime and makes it BLAST. Every weapon is some sort of a variation of an ID arsenal counterpart, but amped to a crazy degree to allow for more skill and creativity expression and prompt actual gameplay choices on how to tackle every situation.

For the price I paid for this game? it is SO worth it!!
It's a bit of a throwback to the days of Far Cry and FEAR… both of those wrapped up into one. It has elements that obviously feel like an indie game but that's not always a bad thing :) It is on rails... yes... no open world. It uses health kits only for healing like in the days of Quake and Quake II. But the atmosphere is oppressive... the level design may not be quite to the level of "inspired" but it's very creative and not at all repetitive. The music is excellent! Definitely sets the mood. The game was obviously written by not English speaking coders but the story is pretty much the same as usual... "we need you to go into the secret base and find out what happened." Not important. Lots of different guns, and all feel VERY real with good animation and very realistic sound effects. The enemies are challenging without being bullet sponges... the game chooses tactics and execution over raw power or pre-scripted "run around and click all the switches" boss fights and I very much appreciate that.

Positives:
+ its short
+ some parts are ok
+ the sound and atmosphere is okay
Negatives:
- bad graphics and view distance
- extremely slow movement
- you cant run and shoot at the same time
- a lot of bugs, some almost game breaking
- jumping height is to low and buggy
- the monsters are bad
- the last level is too hard
I didnt have the greatest expectations, even though a lot of people was positive to this game.
Unfortunately I have to say, it wasnt any good.
Sure the idea is okay, and some elements work.

An interesting take on the FMV genre, instead of point n' click type FMV games. (it is still)
It is a pretty decent enough game, but could be better.
Edit : They've lowered the price, so in this state, I recommend it.
(This is not a VR game, whoever did tagged that is a dummy.)
My analysis (serious one) :
Controls are confusing, I prefer this control scheme on mobile, but not here.
Pretty impressive for such a low budget project. (atleast better than Stay Dead lol)
But a small nitpick when it comes to the fighting system, the combat system is fine if its actually video game graphics but no, this is a film. The thing is, to progress in the fight scene (I'm talking about the guy in Jasmine's house), you have to do a specific action, which makes the fight frustrating (especially if you have no hints enabled) because it's repeating the same thing if you fail to do that specific action.

I can absolutely recommend this game, a couple of hours of fun for 5 EUR. I played with the Android version earlier, but it's a much better experience on PC. (improved video quality and controls)
The gameplay is smooth and the action scenes are amazing :)

4 positive reviews, 3 of them key redemption reviews that off nothing but meme sarcastic comments about the game and it's amazing quality. SMH. The other review besides my own at the time i write this review played the game a total of 5 minutes and raves about how great it is. Again, things that make you go "hmmm"..

It's Pretty Because of the Unreal engine and assets it uses… But never judge a book by it's cover. This game is as mindless and dull as they come. I mean I had 30 zombies smacking me in the game and I was gaining health FFS. That's really all I need to say.

The game isn't perfect, but it's definitely worth the money.
It's a modern single player shooter with two basic modes. A battle mode with four large maps, and an infiltration mode with three smaller maps.
In the battle mode, you spawn in with four NPC squad members alongside an army. You have a series of zones to clear across the map, fighting against hundreds of enemy combatants. You can issue direct orders to your squadmates, with an in depth command system.
In the infiltration mode, you spawn in on a solo stealth mission. The mechanics play similarly to Splinter Cell, with wall climbing and light-based stealth mechanics. Your objective is to kill a target without being detected, and then extract alive. You have silenced weapons, knives, and can drag and hide bodies.

This has so much potential and it is already really quite something as a VR FPS/Tactical Sim. I have Zero Caliber and Contractors two really really excellent VR FPS games and I would put TOG2 up there with them infact I see this being better than either as the updates keep coming.
The fact you are in a full scale pitched battle is simply awesome some games touch on this like Zero Calliber but you have no control of your team they just keep running forward getting killed then coming back again much like COD whereas with TOG2 you can actual tactically command your squad to keep them from being killed though I am lousy at this and tend to let them do their own thing. Either way you will have a real experience in every battle ,that has been created so far. The immersion is intense, the weapons handling is realistic, the locomotion is solid and no teleporting crap anywhere. You need to use cover ,you need to issue commands to set up covering fire, heal wounded squad members , put your sniper on a roof and you even get to control the other NPCS in the battle with your sit rep map and position them accordingly.
