Receiver

Receiver

…please take a moment to confirm that the firearm you have been issued is in working order and has one full magazine.

Receiver is an experimental First Person Shooter, developed in just 7 days to partake in a Game Jam challenge.

The plot is told via cassette tapes, that you must collect 11 of in a single playthrough.

Almost every surface is untextured and there’s minimal, if any, post processing. Surprisingly good lighting effects. The most detailed models in the game are the firearms, conspicuously floating in front of your invisible player avatar as part of the developers' conscious decision to not obstruct the weapon models with your mortal

! except not arms.

Receiver is a unique FPS game by it’s mechanics. It has downsides about which I’ll talk in a bit, but I personally love it. In order to play it successfully you have to pass a learning curve and it worth it. It has been years since I’ve played it the first time and I still remember how to play it. It’s like a bike – when you learned it, it’s hard to unlearn it.

Now, about the downsides. The game was developed in 7-day FPS challenge, keep that in mind. It means that developers didn’t have time to write a story or to create many interesting levels. What they did is made solid building blocks, which can be combined together in any way, so the engine generates level while you’re wondering through it. Also, there are two types of enemies and, believe me, that’s more than enough. Standing turrets and flying electrocuting drones are deadly but fair.

Rear of Business

Far too early access, there’s nothing to do other than walk or run around lol

currently bad fps, can walk through props/objects. can also walk through walls/windows in many buildings.

not sure why you have weapons there’s nothing to shoot. i started with some grenades but not really sure why lol.

I’d be interested to see if the devs actually do anything with this game or if it’s just a failed project.

Unfortunately i’ll be after a refund..

Simple FPS Aim Trainer

Simple FPS Aim Trainer

Works reallllly well with my xbox controller. Deadzone is the same as I set on steam and aiming is more fluid than the other aim trainers I have tried. Already have seen significant improvements in the first hours put in and I already had pretty good aim/tracking/“flicks” prior to downloading

I started out playing overwatch a few months ago and I placed 1143. I was bronze so I was at the bottom of the barrel. I decided something needed to change because I was playing shadow fiend every day and not improving. I couldnt hit shots consistently and my aim was very wacky. I purchased Simple FPS Aim Trainer and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. I put a lot of time into it and in only 1 months I went from bronze to Apex Predator. Clicking dots has done wonders for helping me build muscle memory and finding the right sensitivity. I run a point guard and mainly ball handle and its so much fun when you can hit stuff. I would recommend this aim trainer to everyone looking to become Demigod.#GOATED

Minigun VS Swarms of the Zombie Apocalypse Simulator

Minigun VS Swarms of the Zombie Apocalypse Simulator

10k+ zombies on the same screen, faced with the scene of the doomsday, the raging tide of corpses, your Minigun is thirsty, yes! Hold on for 5 minutes if you think you are tough!

(Note: The game has only completed prototype verification, and the gameplay is still under design. The following description may differ from the final version.)

This game is a tower defense shooting game, massive zombies zombies try to overrun your base.

You play as a group of soldiers. You can switch between vehicles and defensive towers, your weapons are “toy guns” at the beginning, there will be supplies appear in the map area according to your killing score, pick up the supplies with your vehicles.

You can use the supplies to upgrade your vehicles and towers, or build fences. Upgrade your “toy guns” to “killing machines”, teach them a lesson before they overrun your base!

Zombies will come in different types and have different abilities, what prevents them from waiting to be killed, just like some other zombie games you know, maybe your are the one be beaten to the ground!

With some trendy “Black Technologies” of the Unity Engine and some smart tricks used by the developer, it will be very easy for your potato computer to render 10k+ zombies while maintaining a smooth shooting experience!

If you are not sure whether your potato computer can run this game, just download and run the demo first, turn off all the effects, and pay attention to the temperature of your CPU and GPU !!!

In addition, make sure that your computer has enough memory before starting the game, otherwise the game may crash!

WW2: Bunker Simulator

WW2: Bunker Simulator

This game is amazing but there are a few things i’d like for you guys to improve on. First would be for logs to spawn more often, I’ve ran around the map multiple times over multiple days and haven’t been able to gather any more. Next what would be nice would be the ability to switch sides on a separate save option so you can play each side without having to start new. It would be cool to have a few more guns and the ability to build sandbag walls inside the bunker, also for the sandbags, if possible to make it so the enemy doesn’t merge through them(if possible). What would also be nice is a machine gun that you can mount or set up where you would want to for defense and maybe be able to have the option for sandbag placement a little fore user friendly. I’m shure there are a few more things things that I could list but those are some of the higher thing on the list. Other than that just general bug fixes and glitches would be nice… Oh yeah and the glitches at the end of missions when there are no more enemy’s but it says there are and won’t let you sleep is pretty annoying. Thanks so much, I really enjoy this game and would love to see it progress beyond it’s limits into something really amazing.

================================= EDIT =================================

After the recent update, i restarted with a new save. so far i havent got ANY bugs. There is still a few things to improve and add to the game but it is totally playable and very enjoyable.

=======================================================================

For 6hrs of gameplay i maybe have 1h30-2h of reloading morning game save because of bugs occuring.

It is a fairly good game but the amount of bugs for now is just breaking the fun. I believe the devs will repair them asap and make this game a great game.

ARMA: Combat Operations

ARMA: Combat Operations

Note: I recommend the Gold Edition of the game over this version - the DLC are okay, but more importantly, it actually updates the main campaign with new cutscenes and story content (though it seems not to be listed in the features anywhere). So this version is literally a less complete version of the main campaign. The Gold Edition also seems to work better, as it is still patched and this version is NOT. So with that out of the way, I’ve got my review of the main game only down below if you really want it.

Real player with 140.0 hrs in game

I don’t have too much experience with this ARMA, but so far so good. Tons of Addon’s and community content out there, just like every ARMA or OFP, if you manage to have the time to play with Mission Editor/addons, you’ll be addicted and spend countless hours creating your own Combat situations! The Addon’s can really change the game. (Better, or for worse, all at your own risk of course.) I’d recommend Combat Operations (Armed Assault) nonetheless. – I laughed when I noticed a lot of content developers took from the first Operation Flashpoint (aka ARMA: Cold War) and they placed it in Armed Assault.

So I decided to check this out solely on the screenshots and I didn’t like the fact that you walk around a house not knowing what to do it got quite frustrating I had to edit the video down a lot because of that reason.

I did like the atmosphere when I was playing no music just creeks and noises that got me it felt really creepy.

I would of like an English option I noticed the ending credits was translated into English but I would of liked the game translated into English.

As for the price I thought it was cheap, overall it was a good game If your thinking of giving it a go I would just based on the price.
