I was yelling so much while trying to beat level 1 that my parents walked in and thought I was watching pornography, I’ve been forced to go to family therapy ever since.

For two moons I was trapped within the confines of the first level of the game–simply because I repeated the idiotic mistakes repeatedly. It was a very unforgiving but enjoyable experience, and I admire the creator for manufacturing something quite acceptable. As winter is about to return to it’s slumber, I have a feeling of haste to continue playing this game before the fresh summer air returns. The seasonal timing is perfect from this; the entertainment value is quite exquisite. I look forward to playing more of Mr. Curlee Fro’s games, as I understand his everlasting important values towards gameplay.

Rogue Warrior

Rogue Warrior is an old-skool corridor shooter with limited cover mechanics and minor stealth elements. Your objective is to one-man Rambo; an eight mission campaign, set in the Peoples Republic of North Korea. Choose to kill by stealth but be seen and its time for gun-toting action. The campaign is single-player but it has a multi-player arena style deathmatch with a few maps.

Rogue Warrior is horrible. Beyond Mickey Rourke’s hilarious voice acting, this game is linear, poorly programmed, and very shallow. Now, that’s not to say that it’s not at least an enjoyable experience, but you need to know what you’re getting into before you buy it, for hopefully a price below $10.
I beat the game in under 3 hours, and that was with me being killed many times in certain levels. The enemies are extremely repetetive, and pose no challenge unless they gang up on you. Dick (protagonist) moves around like a tank. The “stealth” aspect of this game is laughably broken. You can run up to every enemy, making as much noise as you want and kill them with a prompt that appears on the screen. The sound broke for me towards the end, which ruined the ending cutscenes. Grenades rarely ever work in this game, they’re pitiful. The grenade launcher is also a piece of garbage and may kill you more often than save you. Weapon selection is extremely limited. The levels design is boring and, again, very linear.

Serious Sam 2
tl;dr Little less Serious, but still Sam
Serious Sam 2 has a very vivid palette, even compared to the originals with its colourful pickups and enemies. This game manages to make it even more colourful, to the point of making you want to reduce the brightness/contrast of your display. One of the arguable gameplay decisions is the inclusion of lives system in a game that has a save/load feature anyway. Every 10'000 points you get an EEEXTRAAA LIIIIIFEEE cash register sound, which do not traverse across levels, and if you lose all of them, you can continue playing, just with your current level score frozen. There are vehicles, aircraft, human-sized hamster balls (gasp I’M HUMAN SIZED!), and even a fire-breathing dinosaur to ride. This replaces the Serious Speed pickup, and gives you extra firepower. There’s no point of conserving ammo or serious bombs - pick one up and use it as soon as a too menacing horde appears, since you may lose them when you die (or sometimes respawn with more) and some levels end unexpectedly.

Serious Sam 2
Serious Sam 2 is a first person shooter developed by Croteam and published by 2K Games in 2005. It is known for being the weirdest game in the franchise due to its vastly different atmosphere and overal tone.
The original Serious Sam is a retro-like first person shooter that depends on hoards of enemies, big guns and a badass protagonist. Serious Sam 2 takes a drastic change from its original 2 encounters. It sticks to the original gameplay, but mainly changes in the visual and story department. the game is made like a cartoon, and cutscenes are now more comedy orienter rather than story oriented. The gameplay is the same as the original: strong guns, tons of enemies and open levels. The music and graphics are, honestly, amazing. The music is very well made and has multiple general like tribal beats, techno beats, hard rock music, etc. Damjan Mravunec made a fantastic job with the music and even sound design, as the guns feel strong and satisfying (besides the revolvers and uzis, that have both weak damage and weak sounds). The graphics are also really nice, I personally like it more than the graphics of the last games. Everything is very colourful, vivid and you can easily see where enemies and items are. What changes up the formula is that most weapons can be used in any situation so swapping between them isnt as necesarry. A great example for this is the minigun. It was made stronger and it doesnt eat through your ammo nearly as fast as before. It can be used against bosses, large amount of enemies or even against bigger bad guys. It simply fits any situation. Another change is the grenade. Sam can now collect and use grenades whenever he wants. These are very convenient and useful and i like how well they work in the game, without making the game too easy or unbalanced. The enemies in the game also got changed up, and there are even completely new enemies. The beheaded soldiers (besides the kamikaze) are now orc soldiers and have different attacks. The bio-mechs are now replaced with a T-mech, which is just a rocket shooting T-rex with a cigar in its mouth. The laser bio mechs are now bull sodiers, either tank-like that shoot lasers, or human-like with rocket launchers (like a mini t-mech, but as a bull) and they both speak Croatian, often trying to intimidate you. The game also includes a few vehicles, which have some sort of weapon on them. Besides that, there are also turrets, but those are more uncommon.

Serious Sam 3: BFE
I think this game is very good. I know that he has returned to an old coat as Serious Sam First Encounter and Second Encounter. Serious Sam 2 game was a noob game I am glad that Serious Sam 3 is again similar to the first part. But let’s say straight errors, bugs, problems.
Errors,Bugs and Problems
1. Death Canyon on the map after spawn will you run to scrapjack use mutilator for him he pulls you and if it just so you will spawn spider flies a few feet into the air and you lose a lot of hp or you will die

“Over? Oh it’s not over until I teabag every last one of you alien mother f***ers” - Sam ‘Serious’ Stone, Serious Sam 3
THE GOOD
The Serious Sam series has always been an antidote to the shooters which may or may not have a player character who kills off people who are different to them because they look different, sound different and speak different languages, in where you have a whole lot of aliens trying to trample and shoot you from all sides, just like the 4:17pm on December 24th. There weren’t any key card quests, no escort missions, and no real story which was involing in any way. The gameplay may turn off hardcore Serious Sam fans for the first few levels. Few enemies will attack you systematically while you kill them off in a straight line. After you reach the Shpynx however, it starts to hit the fans and the aliens who outnumber the amount of Steam gamers with light wallets will charge and generally blow you to pieces. Just like the good old days.

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter
I have to admit that I like the NON-HD version more than HD one, BUT it has it’s own perks, so both of them good in their way. Some things are exactly alike comparing with non-HD version - gameplay, ost. Some things are different. Anyway - 2nd Encounter HD is better than the 1st SS HD. You wonder why there are not so many reviews? HD version is kind buggy - sometimes achievements work - sometimes they don’t. Sometimes your overall game time works - sometimes don’t. Sometimes even your cloud saves are broken, or your stats shows that your best advanced level is the 2nd while you nearly completed the game. Yeh bugs are the weak sid of the HD rework.

Short version: 79%
Just like the remake of the first game, Second Encounter HD updates the graphics of the old Serious Sam expansion disk, while retaining the fast-paced combat and the great new weapons of the original. Sadly it still can’t make the starting levels any more fun, but the later ones really make up for the slow start.
Long version:
When the remake of Serious Sam: The First Encounter was released, it wasn’t surprising that a similar facelift on the Second Encounter followed.

the office simulation
A pretty good game for a game jam, however there are some things that need to be pointed out.
What I like.
Environment- I honestly enjoyed the environment since it reminded me of those liminal space images you’d see online and the uncanniness of the graphics helps with that.
What needs to be worked on.
Movement- the movement feels too floaty and there is a slight choppiness with the camera.
Quality of life- some quality of life things are missing from the game currently such as the ability to mess with the options from the pause menu, other bits are minor such as the keyboard clipping through the table at the beginning.

Spacious room to move around and clear pathing make Office Simulator a solid platformer. With firm controls and the classic Mario Land style of air control, you’ll have no problem maneuvering the various obstacles strewn about.
Unfortunately however, there is no visible way to boot up Dallen Clicker on the office computer, so I can only recommend getting this during a sale.

TL;DR:
This is a simplified, faster-paced successor to The Ship. If you’re not familiar with that, think of it as a cartoony, multiplayer Hitman game for 8 players/bots on small maps. It can be a Bloody Good Time, but unfortunately, it has just 3 maps and suffers from dumb bots, a lack of instructions and some cheap weaponry.
Full review:
Bloody Good Time is a simplified, faster-paced successor to The Ship, which isn’t surprising because it’s from the same developer. The meat-and-potatoes of this game is called “the hunt”, a gamemode requiring you to murder a different target each round, all while avoiding guards, cameras and your own hunter. To do this, you can pick from a large roster of weapons spawned throughout the map, each with a randomly-assigned star value which changes every round. This means you have to pick up new weapons often in order to stay on top of the scoreboard. Whoever has the most stars at the end of 12 rounds wins the game. In addition, you’ll find “murder aids”, which do just what their name implies; they can either be used to assist you in a murder or to defend yourself in a bad situation. There’s a glue gun to freeze someone for a few seconds, a holographic decoy to mislead your hunter, even a camera to steal stars. You also have to take care of your “needs” - sleeping, pooping and eating, respectively - and if any of these gets too low, it lowers your speed, defense and strength. You’re pretty much defenseless while taking care of these needs, but when fully refilled, they give you an added stat boost. There are also traps littered around each map and while difficult to pull off, the reward is high.

05/12/2021: Despite the fact that crashes are now a memory, I still can’t reload manually, I don’t know where to change the bindings despite the game saying in the launcher and nothing changed. It’s still nazi zombies, modern zombies, skeletons, slashers-like and… the guns not reloading despite having ammo. I would have preferred a enhanced experience along the way but no. I didn’t go through all the levels again but I did enough to say that in so many years, the dev(s) could have done more. It’s still a negative review.
