Florida Simulator 1986
Its got gators, shotguns, drugs, and is the most accurate portrayal of a 1980s Florida Man to have ever been captured by videogame experts. Best two bucks I ever spent, although there are still a few bugs that pop up now and again– but what did you really want out of this? Absolute clarity, beauty, and neutrality?
Think again, boys and girls.
If you can’t handle the shotguns, the grenades, the hardcore story-telling, and the stealth of a beer-bellied, swamp-bred man on his way to victory, then this is not the game for you.

I started the game out thinking how cool it was that FINALLY a developer used custom assets he actually imported into the GameGuru software. I give him a ton of praise for the effort that he put into this, but this game is a shining example of why you don’t use GameGuru to make a serious game with. GameGuru is absolute trash. Yes, I get that it’s a tool just like any game engine, but GameGuru is like trying to use a cheap plastic toy wrench to work on your car engine. It’s NOT going to work for any real game.

Demon Blast
Introduction
As I absolutely adore the DOOM series and similar titles, Demon Blast naturally caught my eye on Steam’s Store Page immediately. Its colourful, cartoonish art style, along with the promise of killing hordes of demons, was enough for me to give it a try, despite it being in the Early Access. The harsh reality is that this game is unfinished and clunky to play, as you would expect from the Early Access. However, the promised updates are still not released, which is why I finally decided to write a review, as the game’s current content does not offer enough to justify its price for me.

The idea of a roguelike with a touch of doom is reaaaally great, in fact was pretty fun until…
There are 2 bugs are killling me (literally)
1st one the enemy range atack pass the doors and hits you
2nd one the have a issue with the mouse like if you change of dpi for talking with npcs of hitting stuff with your hands.
I know it’s an early acess and you expect bugs but this make the game nearly unplayable and really hard

ULTRAKILL
ULTRAKILL is a pretty cool robot, eh kills demons and doesn’t afraid of anything.
Edit: I call this webm “SHINING SPEAAAAAARRRRRR”

––The Gameplay—-
See that trailer? That’s the sort of action you’re going to be pulling off when you get used to the flow of the game.
ULTRAKILL is made by a developer who knows his audience, and his gameplay design choices show it. In this early access build, you have an arsenal of five different guns with two or more alternate versions which you can carry all at once, and two different fists. They all have their unique uses. My favorite guns are the Marksman Revolver (which allows you to pull off a skillshot by hitting an airborne coin) and the Pump Charge Shotgun (which allows you to charge up the power of your shotgun and makes you explode if you overcharge, wiping out enemies around you). The variety of this game lends to the player being encouraged to swap weapons frequently to avoid the animations and fire guns faster.

Absolutely one of the best FPS available right now. My personal favorite.
Taking influences from legendary games like DMC and Quake is a big deal and I thought that there is absolutely no way that someone can deliver that as a solo dev.
The game somehow manages to do that very competently. Quake influences are very obvious with a really amazing and skill expressive movement system that lets you build up insane amounts of speed and gives you even more freedom than Quake to zoom around the map, and a really smart take on the ID arsenal that I think gets overlooked when talking about this game. For example the classic way a railgun type weapon is handled in ID games is giving it a smallish cooldown while making it pretty strong. ULTRAKILL amps it to 11 and gives it about 10 (?) seconds of downtime and makes it BLAST. Every weapon is some sort of a variation of an ID arsenal counterpart, but amped to a crazy degree to allow for more skill and creativity expression and prompt actual gameplay choices on how to tackle every situation.

Ergastulum: Dungeon Nightmares III
A very terrorfull game. Never imagined the dungeon nightmares games would get even more terrifying! I’m currently in the chamber of the damned… so intense!!! So far I’ve been cornered by bloody marry and the sniffing lady (don’t know her name yet, sorry lol), and found by the sniffing lady. I was just wandering around the dungeon and all of a sudden I heard this sniffing sound in my right ear. Turned to look and there she was! Was both kinda humorous and terrifying. Definitely DON’T recommend this game to the faint of heart. This dungeon I’m currently in is so intense I might not be able to finish it! lol Love the new abilities though. The ability to look around corners is great and the ability to hide when able is awesome! Thanks for making this game and can’t wait to see where else it may go. Keep it up 3

REVENGER
Visually, it’s no masterpiece. But if you get past some of the weird mechanics and strangely eerie atmosphere, you get a pretty decent shooter with many flaws, but it is very satisfying to get kills and an overall enjoyable and 80’s flick-like game. All in all, not perfect, but still very enjoyable and fun.

So this isn’t the worst game I played but it was really trying. This reeks of cheap assets and a general misunderstanding of what a shooter is. This is not the worst thing about this game. The shooting is bad but I was able to finish the “campaign” or “story” if you wish to call it that. What made this game abysmal is the “respawn” system and the “voice acting”. The respawn is essentially you being brought back to a safe area in a quite jarring tug which, if you weren’t aware was a respawn felt like lag. The voice acting was some cheap text to voice program and the last conversation in the game between the protagonist and his daughter felt cheesy and weirdly sexual. 3/10 Please don’t buy.

It does have a few issues here and there but what game doesn’t when its just been released?
Honestly give this game a shot you’ll love it. Can’t wait for the next one.

6 Seasons and a Game
it’s actually nuts how well put together this is for a free volunteer made game. If you are a fan of Community there is no way you arent going to enjoy this just for the references alone but on top of that theyve made a fun fps paintball game! Love the “Visit Greendale” that lets us explore without being sent to the darkest timeline!
I give it 5 Meow Meow Beans

It is a really fun FPS game where you can play with friends, or without if you don’t have any like me.
It is great for fans of Community, because you can experience Greendale and the exciting paintball games in a very fun and interactive way.
It is fun and easy to play but still has it’s skill and I would definetly recomend it. You can try it out quickly, because it is relatively light and it’s free.

Beyond Polaris Guardian
I am not that crazy about shooting games, but decided to try this game because it had good graphics and didn’t cost very much. The person making the game doesn’t speak English very well, and the controls are a little bit difficult to use but apart from that it seems like a pretty good game.
