Pure Football 2018
Extemly happy with this game so far. I grew up playing and loving franchise mode on Madden. I’m enjoying pure football immensley and am extremely excited about the responsiveness and communication of the develoment team.
I love building dynasties and simulating and for me this game scrathes that itch for football.
Would highly reccomend it for solo franchise sim play. I havn’t meseed with any other game modes but i am really enjoying franchise mode.

1- Forever early access
2- After working on my team for 30 hours, eventually it bugs and it makes the franchise non-playable anymore. They admit it and i never made another team after that because it demends a lot of work.
3- Expensive
The hype i got early was nice but the fact that the game bugs after 1 or 2 seasons really killed the fun.

Soccer Simulation
A lot of potential. But it still needs a lot of work to be done.
-dribbling needs to be more smooth
-NPC need to react more teambased
-playing the ball should get more precise
-you should be able to combine plays with the teammates
But I am looking forward to future patches.

Gridiron
Let me start off by saying THIS GAME IS AMAZING! I like many others have played Madden for many years and continually been let down by gameplay that was redundant and felt the exact same each year. About 2-3 months ago my friend invited me to play this game out of the blue and my initial response was, “dude, that game looks bad and im not sure I want to try it.” after some convincing from my friend I downloaded the game and THANK GOODNESS I DID!
Gridiron brings me back to my ideal football game. I always wanted an NFL street game to come to PC and be a multiplayer competitive game and luckily this game is FAR BETTER! The base of the gameplay feels amazing, the mechanics have SO much room to grow, and overall the game just feels great in your hands!

The biggest problem with Gridrion has become it’s community. A year ago when this game came out it was a great place to play. You’d get blown out 110-0 by the experienced guys but they were always friendly. They seemed to find it fun to help the beginners play and it was honestly a great game. The playerbase was popping off. It didn’t have the biggest numbers but there was always games. It was just a great experience and a ton of fun to get into.
Now… You can’t play the game from 2 am eastern to 5 pm eastern cause there’s no playerbase. The experienced players play by themselves in something called ‘pugs’. Which is extremely difficult to get into. Gridiron has become a popularity contest. I don’t enjoy having to find a game on discord only to get passed up on every time. So for weeks when they broke their queue and tried to come out with ranked the game died. Right now it’s overpopulated with fifteen year old boys that don’t have school right now. They play the game twenty-four hours a day. New players never get to play anything but line. All they do is throw 50-50 balls to their friends. It’s absolutely no fun. I couldn’t recommend this game to anyone.

Soccer Rage
I’m not a person who enjoys sports for obvious reasons I’m in steam, but I had my brief encounters with traditional soccer games and simply do not understand them, because they have the rules of traditional soccer.
This little gem is about putting the ball in the opposing goal REGARDLESS OF HOW !! So do not require any knowledge of traditional soccer games at all.
My first games were failures by attempting to play like he knew something about soccer games … is not my approach but you can win by fighting, it makes it much more fun and entertaining.

This game is a fighting/soccer hybrid with robots. It’s clearly early access as most of the content is locked. Here’s my objective opinion for whatever it’s worth:
The potential is high in this one. The gameplay is relatively simplistic but very addictive. You can have 5 v 5, 7 v 7, and 11 v 11 soccer matches. The desired goal is the same as soccer, however the twist is your robots will go into “Rage” and you can start a fight, potentially disabling apponent’s players.
The combat is actually a fun little diversion, and is well done considering the game is not a pure fighting game. There are combos and the controls aren’t too stiff in combat. You have 4 different attack buttons, can jump, duck, and attack with fair fluidity. It’s a timed battle. If you completely disable an apponent, they’ll “break” and will be disabled for the soccer portion of the game. If no ones health fully expires in combat before time is up, the fight is over and you continue.

Worldy Cup
EDIT2: The game seems to be dead in early access! DON’T BUY IT!
First of all I have to say that I’m a bit disappointed even though it’s in early access. This game feels more like an alpha version!
But as I bought it and I love Nintendo World Cup I’m gonna keep it and try it from time to time after bigger updates and of course also update my review.
Additionally I have to say that I didn’t try the VR part of the game!
- funny gameplay
- overly sensitive controls in the menu

Wordly Cup is a VR or Non VR 3D Pixeled Soccer Game.
I really enjoyed this game, it’s just amazing. It’s super fun, and there is multiplayer. To be honest, I dislike sports. But I don’t dislike this game. It’s super funny…too. And the developer is very nice. BUT…there is a bit of glitches in the game, but other than that, it’s a great game. GO BUY IT!

90 Minute Fever - Football (Soccer) Manager MMO
90MF is (still) a text-based MMO Football-Manager-Sim.
1. What are you doing in this game?
You choose your team name, dress colours, emblem (easy to import) and the time of the day/night at which you wanna play. (For example Late evening Football association = LEFA = 8pm-10pm UTC) Then you should be online at this time if possible. If you miss a match you still have 24 hours to play it, if the opponent is there tho and requests to play, the match starts without you. Then you miss the chance to make substitutions and/or tactical adjustments.

[EDIT] As of Oct 2nd 2020 I’ve given the game a second chance given the “massive” overhaul that was announced by the game devs. The game is actually in a worse shape than when I left. The match engine is still not up to par and even MORE features are now locked behind the subscription paywall, like being able to upload your club’s logo or have access to the whole “manager skills” RPG nonsense.
If you want to be even remotely competitive in this “competitive” game you NEED to have an active paid subscription. This is NOT a free-to-play game by any mean. [END OF EDIT]

Sunday Rivals
Another update to the game, another update to this review!
TLDR: My play time speaks for itself. It’s very fun with a TON of replayability but it does lack a few features at the moment (but that’s going to change in the future once more updates release)
Pros:
-Loads of customization (players, teams, stadiums, leagues, jerseys, gameplay sliders, coaching strategies, and even playbooks as of the most recent update)
-Great gameplay
-Customizable Season Mode with full custom league support
-Share your custom leagues/teams and try out others' (albeit not via workshop)
– Real player with 324.4 hrs in game
The game is very simple right now, but it’s super fun to play. I’m really looking forward to the planned features.
EDIT: The Headhunter mode just released and it really adds to the replay value of the game. The mode allows you to “lead your favorite team through a 4 game, single-elimination tournament while racking up points using a fantasy football-style scoring system”; and let me tell you, that extra scoring system makes the game so much more fun than it already was. You can compare your scores from your own Headhunters runs and with your friends runs. I’d imagine the game’s Discord server would be a great place to do it: http://discord.gg/dSuMe5w

IOSoccer
I’ve played this game since 2004 and it’s the only game that has kept my attention through the entirity of my gaming life. This latest release is a huge effort from the IOSoccer Team to bring it to another public release many years later after the initial development team gave up on it. The game also boasts a great community who are always making new kits, teams, leagues and other content to give the game a great competitive edge.
My best advice to new players is to not be put off by the steep learning curve of playing football with a mouse and keyboard. Once mastered, this game will give you more freedom as a player than any other game on the market. Yes, that includes Fifa and PES Be a Pro modes.

The closest game there has ever been to being a real football player part of a team.
I have played this game since 2003, I must have around 10k hours on this game. No game has ever came close to my love for this game. Public is great fun but when you join a team(clan), the game really shines, creating a club, designing your logo, your kit and even perhaps a stadium and challenging for leagues is the closest you will ever get to being a professional footballer. The community is amazing, with games geared towards ranking and elo systems, a massive part of online gaming has been lost and thats community. Everything on this game is community ran and becuase of this the game excels.

Retro Football Boss
Play it !! Love it !!
Some time ago, The FA had his 125 year anniversary!! During that, Football Manager honoured that with a retro 19th century screenshots of a supposed Football Manager 1888. At that time, those screenshots receive a major feedback. Everybody asked if it was possible to go back in time. Nothing happened until now!
So, seeing the work made by this guys, the only thing i must say to them is: thank you very much!!
The amount of data, players, and history of this game is so immense that for a guy (like me) that like old retro-vintage english football history is perfect!

Don’t waste your time on this game. For football fans yearning for days gone by, this game promises much, yet only manages to deliver frustration and disappointment.
First of all let me say that this game is early access but it is two years on from release. I wouldn’t expect the game breaking bugs I’m now going to detail to still be a problem but they are.
Sometimes, after playing a full season and looking forward to developing the team you’ve spent a full season putting together, the game will crash on starting the following season. The crash will be saved into your game so no amount of reloading will ever let you continue on into the new season. I started again with the same team in the same year and a week of real time later the same thing happened again.
