AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome

This game is actually V E R Y fun! Well, for me. I originally played AaAAaA!!! 3D on A10 so i decided to ask my dad to buy the game and we did and i fricken love it! So it has good graphics (If your PC/Mac/Linux can handle it, or you put it on low graphics) and also fun level design, good DLC, not alot of difficulty spikes, less sensitive to whack into a building, good controlls, and use of the wind and checkpoints UNLIKE reckless disregard for gravirty (Excluding Brutal Concussion) and its just a good game! I 100% Recommend it!!! Also the best part! The name! AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome!?! That name is easy to remember and awesome! (No pun intended) But some downsides are it removing some sounds and polishing things that Reckless has like the Kisses where it would fade not just blink. Also the sound for Spray Painting was just the Flip off sound and the spray paint sound but no sound that i remember from 1… 2… 3… Kick it (Drop That Beat Like An Ugly Baby) Also the texture quality is a little dated. And the glitch where the camera wont move. Also it should of been DLC because the Awesome Levels and the original campaign. However i still recommend it over Reckless Disregard for Gravity.

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! ….For the Awesome, the Anti-Platformer!! In this game you will do all in your power to AVOID landing on them, as you leave every platform far behind!

I nearly made a mistake with this game (beyond thinking the dreadful title actually said something about the game, that is): I read the reviews. Then I read the awards it’s won. Then I considered the type of games I enjoy most: pinball, Puddle, FOTONICA. Flowing, limited control type games. Actually, the decision was easier with more information. And I made the correct one.

Really fun to fly in this sim, its like a bare bones version of Velocidrone, you can change your rates and play with physics. There are a few bugs. E.g. OSD settings reset every time you change maps and if you get stuck in colission like tree leaves theres no reset button so you have to exit the map then redo your osd settings and reenter the map. But other then that I love this sim!

Lots of fun. Definitely worth the price. Would love to see more variety and detail in the maps in the future. Walking to the next hole gets tiresome because of the mini map. i wish there was a better way to indicate where the next hole is or where your current hole is. Maybe a larger top-down view you could toggle in and out of?

Honestly, here’s my guide to Sokpop, if you see something neat or interesting.. you’ll be glad you gave it a shot. The games are fun, & allow you to unwind very comfortably. They don’t expect you to go out of your way, you won’t feel like you’ve wasted time, & again for the price of half a meal, it’s worth it.

Oh & in case you weren’t looking hard enough a lot of these games offer multiplayer, which really blows my mind!!

“Sokpop Collective” makes valuable games!

P.s.

Sokpop, you’ve successfully made the first Disc Golf game that isn’t lame. Most in this genre focus heavily on the disc, having this world to play in is a blast. If a part 2 were to ever come out, I’ll buy that one too!! :)

Sumotori Dreams Classic

Sumotori Dreams Classic

Sumotori Dreams is perhaps a perfect example of a cult classic video game.

It has a small but very passionate player base. It’s a game about four Sumo wrestlers - the Blue Guy, Grey Guy, Brown Guy, and Green Guy. All you have to do is push the other Sumo guys over before they get you. That’s it. Usually, doing nothing is the key to victory. All with a comedic intoxicating effect. Just walking around is a challenge.

Originally released in 2007, Sumotori Dreams has endured, now with this shiny new release. In this Classic edition, it runs smoother than ever before, with everything functioning as it should - plus a very welcome addition of an in-game mod loader.

surprised this game made it on here finally, now we can enjoy the bricky sausage like limb physics.

it also comes with map modding support for people who didn’t know and looks like this version has had some work done on it to enhance it for newer specs

Uncrashed : FPV Drone Simulator

Tip for other beginners: The race tracks on Roadtrip, City Park, and High City seem to be the most beginner friendly. So far they’re the only races I’ve been able to finish without becoming frustrated and giving up!

I’m just getting into the FPV drone hobby in the past few months, and was delighted to see this simulator featured on Yourik’s Youtube channel. “That’s exactly what I wanted in a simulator!” It really is gorgeous. The lack of long loading times, and the ease of just getting in and flying is really awesome.

While it’s probably the only drone game out there, I love how you can personalize the controls and the drone effects like air resistance, gravity, propeller throttle, etc. That bit is amazing… and the courses are pretty neat, would be cool if they were longer but seeing those times when I complete a course just blow my mind. I want to know what settings they had when they hit those scores!

However, THE MOST FRUSTRATING THING is is you get too close to the ground or walls, it might flip out. Crashes are dizzying but sometimes just the slight touch of anything and that’s it, you have to hit RESET and start the course ALL OVER. Sometimes reset props your drone upright exactly where you’re stuck and you can continue, other times it fails the course and you have to start over.

Impossible Soaring

Impossible Soaring

We fly around buildings, through windmills, over mountains and through caves because we can, and because it is fun.

  • We do these thing not because they are easy but because they are hard. (JFK)

Overall a great game, especially for a indie game a congratulate the developers for such a great simple game, and I hope it will get more attention than it currently has.

Good game:

**It’s the first game that I feel like hunting for a position on the leaderboard. If you don’t care about leaderboards it’s still fun to just better your personal record for yourself!

Maps are enjoyable you unlock them with your score and it’s fun to explore them one after the other!

Especially since each map has it’s own track. Each track is different and good to listen to.

Also I love the small town in which you can go explore, talk to people, it creates a small home between the flights…**

Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing

Liftoff: FPV Drone Racing

Liftoff is a Terrific Tool and Game! I became a Liftoff Fan in January 2017 when I puchased my first RealACC x-210 drone kit from Banggood. Liftoff taught me to fly, tune, and adjust my Taranis settings and develope throttle and axis curves. I did so through Liftoff. I was able to obtain a complete and functional understanding of RC Rates, Super Rates, Throttle and Axis Expo as well as PID tuning and I did so before I ever flew my first Quad, ( have since built five additional race quads) I was able to master the necessary control of my quad by using Liftoff. When I flew my first quad in March 2017…..which is, somewhat different from Liftoff (Liftoff was more foregiving) I was able to fly with only minor crashes that occurred until I mastered a real Quad landing.

First, I do have some credentials to mention, perhaps to add some validity to the review. I served 6 years in the Air Force and while stationed in Italy in 1976, I joined a group of Italian hang glider pilots I found while driving in nearby mountains. I bought a hang glider, flew 5 times from a 2500 foot peak, and then crashed and broke my arm. The military took care of me, and I’m okay. Years later, I discovered flight simulators on an Apple II computer (SubLogic FS2). I’ve used simulators ever since then to an exhaustive degree. In 2004 I had the means to start flight lessons, and obtained a Private Pilot license in 2006. I put about 80 hours in command of rental planes (Cessna 150, 152, 170, 172M, 172P) and then got training in a Weight-Shift Control sport aircraft.(commonly called a trike) and then I bought one, N502PW. I flew 100 hours in the trike over the next 5 years, then sold the aircraft in 2014. I have a Phantom 3 Standard quadcopter, a Spedix 275 FPV racing drone, a Vortex 250 FPV racing drone, a Blade NanoQX FPV mini, a Blade InductrixFPV, and an FPV Tiny Whoop I made from an Inductrix. My FPV videos are on YouTube at patjoyce7323.

AccuRC 2

AccuRC 2

I almost exclusively fly heli’s. so I hardly know how a FW should feel in a sim keep this in mind reading this review.

I used RC phoenix alot before, used a little bit of RF8.

Some remarks on on those sims;

  • RC phoenix their install/update procedure is just from the nineties. And the dongle is a bit meh,

Flying wise RC phoenix is better then RF8 (I really didn’t like that sim for heli’s) .

But AccuRC is flying better then both.

So for heli’s AccuRC is THE sim to get. Good physics , Uptodate models, every so often a new model or skin drops which is always nice, ….. And a ‘really big’ plus for me is the dev have a feaking discord so you can just talk to them and get involve , Run alpha’s , beta’s, so every few days some fixes or improvements drop , its nice to know the program you use is actively being devellopped, etc….

Real player with 192.2 hrs in game

I’ve played RF7.5, RF8, Phoenix5.5k, neXt CGM more than 200+ hours and I wanted better sim.

People said this sim so I played demo ver and I felt good so purchased and played about 4 hours.

GOOD POINT

1. sim’s physics is realistic then any other sims on market.

Although RF8 or phoenix5.5k or neXt’s physics is still not bad, but this is different.

For example, RF feels bit stiff, neXt feels smooth than RF, Phoenix feels even more smooth than neXt.

But smooth feels make sim easier and sometimes neXt felt unrealistic due to its feeling.
