Impossible Soaring
We fly around buildings, through windmills, over mountains and through caves because we can, and because it is fun.
- We do these thing not because they are easy but because they are hard. (JFK)
Overall a great game, especially for a indie game a congratulate the developers for such a great simple game, and I hope it will get more attention than it currently has.

Good game:
**It’s the first game that I feel like hunting for a position on the leaderboard. If you don’t care about leaderboards it’s still fun to just better your personal record for yourself!
Maps are enjoyable you unlock them with your score and it’s fun to explore them one after the other!
Especially since each map has it’s own track. Each track is different and good to listen to.
Also I love the small town in which you can go explore, talk to people, it creates a small home between the flights…**

Risky Wings
EDIT: 2/26/19 Record name change.
EDIT; 9/11/18 The issues I describe below of needing to acclimate in order to avoid hitting objects has substantially been dealt with admirably in several ways, in more than one update. MUCH more intuitive now. Thank you!

Full Disclosure: I LOVE TO FLY!!! (As a gamer, I mean.)
As such, I have a substantial number of Steam-based games that allow me to indulge this joyous affliction, the most recent being the wonderfully designed and remarkably addictive and entertaining Risky Wings (previously UBERFLIGHT.) Admittedly, flying games basically do one thing, and the measures of such games are:

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!!
You’re a skydiving, video-streaming guerilla artist in the floating city of Boston High. Your job is to leap from buildings, cause mischief, and not get caught by the police.
A Grab Bag of Incredible Features
-
Leap from mile-high skyscrapers.
-
Kiss the sides of buildings with your mouth.
-
There’s, like, a parade with giant balloon floats on one level, and you can smack into them, ruining everything, just to be a jerk.
-
Also, there’s a level with a giant 4-story cake that you can topple over hapless spectators.
-
We’re experimenting with a thing where you’re also able to break the city’s wastewater storage systems, but you’d kinda have to be a double jerk to do it.
-
Over 0 levels included in the full game!
-
0 weapons, unless you count the spray paint you use to tag windows.
-
Unique, challenging, and other meaningless adjectives that every game uses to describe themselves.
-
How many bullet points do you want, buddy?
-
‘Cause here’s another one.
Did You Know?
-
This is our follow-up to the original, award-winning series.
-
The original is in the Guinness World Records for longest word in a video game title.
-
It also broke Steam because the title was way long.
-
And it won a bunch of awards. Some, for publications and conventions that don’t exist anymore. Ten years is a long time.

AFTERBURN
I was a really big fan of Morfeo’s previous game, Furious Angels and have been waiting for this game for a long time and I’ve gotta say; totally worth the wait. I’ve been a huge fan of piloting games since Ace Combat on the PS2 and Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge on Xbox and this game honestly reminded me how much I love flying games! (Anyone got any recommendations? I’ve had a taste and I need more now! lol)
This game can be kind of frustrating to master (I was about ready to smash my face into the keyboard at attempt 250 but the sense of accomplishment I felt from finishing it was like nothing else.) but it’s control scheme is very intuitive, especially if you’ve played Furious Angels, and it’s very easy to pick up. I haven’t tried controller or joystick, but with a mouse (you don’t even need a keyboard at the moment but possible in the future it’ll be needed) to play this game without any issues. I have heard from others that it works just fine with a wide number of other controllers too if that’s more your style.

AFTERBURN is a strange game, in the same vein that it’s an incredibly fun one with a nostalgic feel to it. Do you remember the arcade cabinets of the days of yore that had those old joystick dogfighting games? Do you remember that one Tom Clancy arcade cabinet where you climbed into that ball and it’d shake and move around as you flew your fighter jet all over the place? AFTERBURN does a good job at bringing some of those feelings back.
While it might not have music or any proper soundtrack to speak of, I’d say one of the biggest strengths is being able to put your own playlist on and sit down for a 30-45 minute session. The game will hold your attention for a few runs instead of the majority of the day, but I’d say that’s a strength. AFTERBURN is what I’d qualify as a painkiller, a game you sit down and boot up when you need a quick distraction or just want to forget about things…

City Air Battle
City Air Battle is an arcade style flight shooting and racing game. In the game, you will fly a fighter over the real city. You can not only have a fierce air battle with the enemy aircraft, but also compete with the opponent in the air, experience the immersive 360 degree free flight and enjoy the fun of flying in the city skyline.
The operation and playing method of the game are very simple, and any player can get started quickly. You only need to use the direction key to control the flight direction of the aircraft, use the shift key to accelerate, and use the Z key to fire shells. Some levels only need to use the direction key or click the mouse to pass.
The game contains 6 cities, all of which are modeled and produced according to real large cities (Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and New York). All buildings and streets are the same as those of real cities.
There are more than 60 kinds of aircraft in the game, all of which take the real classic aircraft as the model, including fighters, armed helicopters, large transport aircraft and bombers.
Players can control 8 different planes. By default, they can use 3 planes, and 5 planes are waiting for players to unlock after obtaining points in the game.
There are 24 levels in the game. Each city contains 4 levels and 4 game modes. You can choose any city or level to play the game.
Each level has a score ranking list, which allows players to compete with netizens all over the world and encourage players to constantly break the record of the highest score.
Game mode:
Racing mode
Flying through the whole city along the specified path, you need to surpass or destroy all your opponents to win the championship. The shorter the time, the higher the score.
Path shooting mode
The aircraft flies automatically along the path. You just click the mouse to shoot down the enemy aircraft. The higher the hit rate, the higher the score.
Collision mode
Operate the aircraft to hit the enemy aircraft at high speed and avoid buildings. The shorter the time, the higher the score. You can experience the pleasure of flying at high speed between skyscrapers and hitting the enemy aircraft.
Flight shooting mode
Manually control the direction of aircraft flight and the angle of weapon launch, use missiles, machine guns, rockets and other weapons to destroy enemy aircraft shuttling between cities, and double the scores of destroying enemy high-value targets (large transport aircraft, bombers, early warning aircraft, etc.). Players need to fly the aircraft to move flexibly in high-rise buildings, avoid the attack of enemy aircraft guns, and use smart steering to avoid missiles.
Danger Forever
Danger Forever is hardcore 3D scroll-shooter with rogue-lite elements.
_ Lone human rides her mecha-dragon
through hostile alien world of mechanoids and techno-demons_
Unlike most scrolling shooters, you actually fly through 3D environment — use it to your advantage, and beware bumping into walls or ground.
Also, instead of traditional showering enemies with bullets, you have to think ahead a bit — fuel/heat system adds some more depth to combat.
Levels are procedurally generated — each level is slightly different every time you play it
(but it’s not totally random of course).
Energy and materials obtained during level playthrough can be used to upgrade and customize you dragon.
You also need those materials and energy to build a spaceship to fight your way out of that hostile planet.
F E A T U R E S
► Explore over 100 levels in 6 distinct regions
World map is procedurally generated too, you can ’re-roll’ your world.
► Utilize elaborate scoring system to earn energy and materials needed for upgrades
The better you score the better gear you can afford.
► Unlock new difficulty modes
On higher difficulty levels you’ll encounter enemies and hazards not present on ‘normal’ or ‘easy’.
► Upgrade and customize your dragon
Abilities and weapon-modes are unlocked and upgraded for Azure and materials earned on levels.
► Challenge yourself on specially designed infinite ‘survival’ levels
Survival levels are ranked on leaderboards.
Fly Dangerous
Ever wanted to take a ridiculously fast, fully-controllable rocket ship and fly it like the lunatic that lives inside of all of us? Well now you can!
Fly Dangerous is a game where 60Gs of acceleration is just fine because who needs realism? Configure your flight stick (or mouse, keyboard, gamepad or … steering wheel, no judgements here but good luck) and take to the skies at absurd speeds.
Test your skill on the leaderboards with drift, careful boost control and 6dof flight model! Use flight assists to keep your balance and work towards turning them off for the best times!
Put some music on and chill in the infinite free roam modes.
Party up with friends in the various online multiplayer modes!
Jump into VR for the full stomach-wrenching experience!
Cipher Pilot
Inspired by blazingly fast arcade racers and punishing platformers, you will crash fast, you will crash hard, and you will crash often. You’ll be instantly thrown back into the action to apply what you’ve learned.
You’ll be crashing across 100+ levels divided into 10+ worlds, each world introducing it’s own unique hazards and challenges. Daily, weekly and monthly playlists keeps the challenge fresh as you compete for the top spot.
Save the ‘Verse from THE CORRUPTION, a program gone rouge. It’s only purpose is now the complete and total deletion of the ‘Verse and all backup data. You’ll discover the origin of the ‘Verse, how the CORRUPTION came to be, and why it’s hellbent on the complete and total destruction of not only itself but all of the ‘Verse.
Endless ATC
This is an amazing little game.
The game starts out very simply, with just a few planes to control. As you guide them successfully to their destinations, the number of planes in your space increases, and so does your mental load.
A simple and effective interface lets you put your air traffic plan into action almost as quickly as you can think it (via any combination of keyboard, mouse, and touch).
Before long, you must be completely focused on managing the traffic to keep everything running smoothly and your score increasing.

I’m not easily impressed, but this is really good.
It has all the complexities of the real thing:
-
Standard Instrument Departures
-
Standard Terminal Arrivals
-
Parallel approaches
-
Airspace restrictions
-
Minimum Safe Altitudes
-
Separation criteria
-
Wake turbulence separation
-
Emergencies
And it’s all packed into a UI that is so easy to learn and simple to use, it actually makes the complex task of controlling air traffic look like child’s play.
Designers of RL ATC software, move over! Look at this title and explain to me why “the real thing” always looks so damn complicated, because this simulation here proves what an intuitive UI can look like.
