I’ve only played in VR with a HOTAS. Beyond the fact that it’s wildly overpriced, this game needs a serious overhaul by someone who understands UX.

The menus are amateurish and bewildering, particularly in the campaign mode. There’s no way to recenter your view. It seems to be impossible to start a campaign game in VR, because you have to type in a name for your squadron, and it won’t accept keyboard input as typing. When I hit the F key I get some performance numbers. I had to restart in desktop mode, create the campaign, and then restart again in VR mode to play it.

this game does not fell finished to me. at this time in VR you have hand tracking but can not interact with anything just ghost hands. that sucks would have loved to fly the planes with my VR hands. but im so far happy with what i got. the joysticks on the VR controls work. game brings me back to playing red baron long long ago. for that feeling i like the game. and for that i will give it a thumbs up. if you go into this expecting a full VR exp you will be a little upset. but the controls work the game plays and is fun. maybe wait for a sale if you are unsure.

Flying Corps

Flying Corps

It is a flight simulation game which is based on the theme of the World War 1 and is one of those which has really depicted a realistic flight war gameplay. You have 6 different planes in the game which are the ones that were famous in those times.

The planes have been modelled perfectly and have been given a lot of details.

You have both instant playing mode and the campaign mode for doing a wide variety of missions.

Coming to the planes again, the inner dynamics have been made with a good number of details which allow you to check the speed, the height of the aircraft, the targets, situational awareness and many other on board options which you can easily use and implement in the gameplay.

I am an Air Traffic Controller 4

Excellent game. can’t stop playing it

Needs a few tweaks is all

1. I have multiple monitors, would love approach on one screen, ground on another and airport on another . not all crammed into a single screen

2. Why can’t we put approaching aircraft into holding pattern if we don’t want them to land ? Standard stuff.

3. Freeplay shouldn’t end after too many errors .

4. Freeplay should also allow us to choose the intensity of the timetable, you simply cant do Tokyo in the middle of the day on your own , I’m sure several ATC staff handle those area’s in the real world

Short Version:

8/10, looking forward to expansion packs

Long Version:

This might be the best ATC game on steam (that is not primarily focused on radar usage).

In Japan, this dev has released numerous games not only in this series, but also previous instalments of this series such as I am an Air Traffic Controller 1 through 3 (ATC 1-3) and other series such as Pilot Story. It is also worth noting that this dev had released multiple Japanese Airport add-ons for FSX, showing that they are quite experienced in terms of aviation in Japan and 3D-modelling.

nice game, but it seems to be stuck in early access limbo. As is, it’s kind of good. get’s a little repetitive after a while. not a bad game, just kind of incomplete.

Update, no Updates. Bye.

I Like it so far, but there is more work to be done. The Game is updated frequently, this looks promising. The Gameplay might seem a little bit easy made, but the Hunt for Upgrades is it that binds me to Games.

They attack you with all kinds of bacterial toxins and virus missiles in an attempt to occupy your body as the nourishment of evil.

For your enemies, quickly choose effective drugs and weapons to annihilate them! Roll and carry antiviral agents, antibiotics and bacteriophage missiles into the melee, leaving a piece of inflammatory factors and residues. Use different weapons to attack all kinds of enemies, Fight side by side with your immune cell comrades, and if they become enemies too, then you have to fight alone against everything!

Descent: FreeSpace – The Great War

Descent: FreeSpace – The Great War

Descent: FreeSpace was - for pretty much two decades - the start of the best space combat simulation ever developed. I probably spent several years of my childhood playing FreeSpace 1 and 2 and to this day there is no other game which I will get back to every few years and then play it for months on end because it is that good.

Never before have I played a game which utilizes almost all keyboard buttons, some of them even twice or thrice with button combinations. It takes days to get used to the controls and to remember all of them in the heat of battle, but after having learned them once, I never forgot them again. I can boot up any FreeSpace game after 5 years without having played it and the controls will come back to me within 5 minutes. No other game has ever managed to do that. No other game has ever managed to entertain me to that degree even although I can still remember every single mission, every enemy wave, every plot twist and all and any scripted events.

Descent | Freespace: The Great War is a 3D space craft action simulator. You are a recruit pilot who just joined the Galactic Terran Alliance in its age-long war against the Parliamentary Vasudan Empire, but the war takes a different turn when an unknown threat makes its appearance with the sole purpose of exterminating both races.

Pros: You get to live the war and the events through the eyes of a pilot, and the whole story is detailed through mission briefings and in-game events. Different levels of success in a mission may affect the following mission, even open entire branching side-missions. The voice acting does a good job a delivering the humane yet rigid tone of a military situation, something you’ll rely on for immersion as there is little to no cut scenes. Action is great, and often allows creative thinking to resolve an issue, succeed in a mission and achieve bonus goals. The missions themselves are very varied, rivaling and often surpassing classics of the genre like the Wing Commander series. Control is spot-on, although optimized for mouse-less keyboard. As you progress, you get more and more flexibility in how you want to set and arm your squads.

Endless ATC

Endless ATC

This is an amazing little game.

The game starts out very simply, with just a few planes to control. As you guide them successfully to their destinations, the number of planes in your space increases, and so does your mental load.

A simple and effective interface lets you put your air traffic plan into action almost as quickly as you can think it (via any combination of keyboard, mouse, and touch).

Before long, you must be completely focused on managing the traffic to keep everything running smoothly and your score increasing.

Real player with 512.4 hrs in game

I’m not easily impressed, but this is really good.

It has all the complexities of the real thing:

  • Standard Instrument Departures

  • Standard Terminal Arrivals

  • Parallel approaches

  • Airspace restrictions

  • Minimum Safe Altitudes

  • Separation criteria

  • Wake turbulence separation

  • Emergencies

And it’s all packed into a UI that is so easy to learn and simple to use, it actually makes the complex task of controlling air traffic look like child’s play.

Designers of RL ATC software, move over! Look at this title and explain to me why “the real thing” always looks so damn complicated, because this simulation here proves what an intuitive UI can look like.

Set for the Battle

This game combines two game operations: real-time strategy and shooting. You can get money by occupying resource areas like normal real-time strategy games before producing units to fight. At the same time, by pressing the E key, you can directly operate the soldier, the vehicles, and even the fighters to shoot the enemy. You’re both a commander and a soldier. It is totally up to you to win the war by good tactics or superb marksmanship.

A strange army of robots occupied one of our oil production base overseas, and they are gradually occupying the nearby areas. We have no idea about the one behind the them and their strategic purpose. But in any case, commander, we need you attack them immediately, please don’t let the situation beyond control.

Real-time Strategy

In this game, you can select the combat unit through the mouse, and then operate the selected unit for attack, movement, occupation and other operations. The money needed by the production unit can be obtained by occupying the resource point. After eliminating the enemy, the final victory can be achieved by occupying the enemy base.

Shooting Operations

When only one unit is selected, press the E key to operate the unit separately. You can use a variety of different weapons to shoot enemies, but also can operate tanks, anti-aircraft missile vehicles, robots, fighter and other vehicles. Each unit has a unique weapon and attack mode, giving you a different operational experience.
