Elmarion: Dragon time
Edited review.
I wish I could recommend this game. You can only like or dislike when I am actually sitting at meh with this game. Elmarion: Dragon Time is early access and the Dev(s), Fleon Games, have made 3 games in 2 years. Elmarion: Dragon Time is still in Early Access, but doesn’t seem to be updated or any signs of updates. (WIll change if that changes.) A finished product, but not a polished one. You do get to play as a dragon, but that is the only appeal.
Cons
*No Feedback from dev(s) on this Early Access title.

Review is actually from 27th April 2020. Since last playing and writing this review, the developer has made various updates that I’ve yet to try out. These include items to equip your dragon with, more music/tracks, new dungeons, secret areas and traps, a new dragon to play as, and a whole load of bug fixes, balancing, and general improvements. I’ll update my review once I get around to playing it again.
Elmarion: Dragon Time tries to achieve something I’ve been wanting to see for a long time now, that I’ve not seen done successfully in any other game. A game where you’re the dragon, soaring through the sky, causing death and destruction throughout the realm, or whatever you want really, you’re a dragon after all! Elmarion seems to do it relatively well, but there is still a lot of work to be done for that great experience! Elmarion is in the early stages of Early Access at the time of writing this, and from what I can tell, it’s a one man project, so from that point of view the game is very impressive!

Gameplay / Story
You always wanted to be a terrible beast that everyone trembles before or a prince that is haunted by a curse? Then please read on, because then this game could be just right for you.
Not every dragon is evil, because everyone is only as evil as humanity perceives or what deeds are committed. This time you experience the adventure from the perspective of a female kite and fly over the large map. You will discover secrets, solve puzzles and help people or other living beings out of trouble if you want or destroy them.

Century: Age of Ashes
For a dragon genre that we dont see too much of, theyve really outdone themselves the flying feels sooo amazing whether you’re playing with either mouse/keyboard, or controller. The game itself its absolutely thrilling even with 4 game modes currently present. So you’ve got 3 classes to choose from. Phantom, Windgaurd, and Marauder.
The Marauder is your hunter tracker kind of class. Focusing on enemy players and giving chase to ensure the opponent is destroyed. And good luck to you phantoms thinking the Cloaking will save you from its tenacious chase. The other ability is frost bolts which both greatly damages an oponents shield, and makes steering their dragon a bit more difficult.

The gameplay of Century is quite solid. I play only on controller so I can’t speak for how KB&M feels but it’s tight. I however, in it’s current state won’t recommend this game to anyone who likes to play solo. This game is yet another case of forced Discord squad implementation. Currently there’s no way to play in a solo/duo queue so you will be facing squads more than half the time. If you do not run with a squad, especially in ranked, your chances of winning a game are practically zero. Another missing feature that was heavily requested a year ago after the beta was some form of in-game communication. You have pings but due to the extremely fast nature of the gameplay coupled with your screen constantly moving away from any focused area pings are practically useless. No in-game chat or voice chat leave you feeling totally helpless if you are with a random team against stacks.

WyVRn: Dragon Flight VR
pretty cool start for a game. basic mechanics are there and work pretty well. has some innovative locomotion options. there’s a few modes to test out right now, they are all pretty easy, but you can tell it doesn’t take much to make riding a dragon awesome. I’m not sure how much, i’ll be playing it but im glad I tried it out. playing on a rift.

I prefer interesting mechanics to graphics and this game is like a playground of interesting VR mechanics. For example, there are multiple types of locomotion that I’ve never seen implemented in other VR games (hamster ball, throwing a hammer, riding a dragon with reigns). I applaud the creativity and bravery to explore untried things in VR than to make tried and true things. This reminds me of the VR scene from the Oculus DK1 days when devs would make interesting things just to make interesting things. I miss those days. I’ll gladly support experimental things like this over the “safe” stuff any day.

Day of Dragons
I love the game since i got it and just got hooked from the beginning. Sure there is still so much it can be but i still believe this game can amaze us if we just wait but until then it’s a very nice game to vibe with others unless you’re doing pvp that is.

This game has a lot of potential. The flying animations and camera movement is magnificent. I love the clans system, group, hatching and server system. And I am also relieved that this game is both PVE and PVP friendly (which not many survival games like this are). The map design and way point system could use quite a bit of work, but otherwise, it is pretty well done for a game in its stage!
CONS:
-The lack of dragon variety (unless you want to pay for a DLC)
-Limited things to hunt
-The boredom you get once you hit the adult stage

This is great, really.
I put on my headset being skeptical and taking notes in my mind. I thought from the videos it looked like just a bunch of assets thrown together.
But it was very peaceful and i found it really meditative. All the small details happening around were great, I was never bored, and a beautiful strangely coherent world. I felt very connected.
This is now my go to app for meditation and recommend for such purposes.

DragonRideVR
edit after the recent updates
Dragon ride is more incredible again the best dragon game we could wish and has a lot of new modes
rhytm and ride it is awesome ,we can use swords and a ot of others weapons in rythm with music
the free fly mode is wonderfull , we could not have more the feeling to be on a dragon on the air , on the ground , in the water ( with a lot of customisation to unlock)
and mini games modes amazing like using crossbow with power up or do treasure hunt to find the eggs of the dragon and where giant crossbows try to kill you

Full disclosure - I was involved in early testing for this game. I can tell you the lead developer is really respoinsive and a joy to work with. That’s the reason this game keeps getting better, and is well worth the $$. Aside from that, this is an honest review for a really fun, must-have in my opinion, VR game that’s for everyone. I love dragons myself, like just about everyone that’s faithfully watched Game of Thrones, or any other similar story, the dragons are the best part. I had been looking for a dragon-riding game and this is one of the best.
