The Name
I often get asked how I came up with the name “Capital Profit”. The game is very much based on the functions of capitalism, because of the buying/ selling of items and getting the most amount of money possible. Plus it was a word that my friend liked after I suggested to him (I’m all about that friendly teamwork). Now the word “Profit” is mostly based on profiting from the work/ play-time you put in the game. Therefore Capital Profit are two words that represent the game very well.

SAS
I stumbled upon this game while taking a look through early access titles. The first thing that caught my eye was that it is survival. The second thing that really peaked my curiosity was spiri animals. What, are you kidding me?! Who does that?! How could that work?! Well, let me tell you, I was immediately engrossed in the visually pleasing artistry and placement of all the points of interest giving it a realistic feel which we all try to find in these MMO’s. You can roam this huge map for hours and you’ll see something new every time. There is always something to do as in any survival game, it’s hard not to get distracted! Weather you like solo play or group play, pvp or pve, exploring or building, this is the game for you! The Developers are always interactive and enjoy playing right along side even the newbies so you don’t need to be a high lvl to be noticed! Now, with that said, I won’t go into obvious details which every new game, especially early access, about what I don’t like about Spirit Animal Survival because negatives are to be expected and my likes, or loves rather, outweigh the things that are still being worked on. It is, after all, a work in progress. Look, all I’m trying to say is, stop reading this already and come in, enjoy some great company with friendly people and have some fun! If you’re waiting for the invite, well, this is it! Don’t hesitate, I hear the sale price will be ending soon! Also wanted to add, if you’re concerned with the minimum requirements, I know it says min i5, I’m running an i3 with the only real issues being in the loading and shutting down, the game play is practically flawless! Don’t let that be what scared you away, let it be that big bad T-Rex that one shot you!

Before I write my thoughts, I saw someone post false information that I’d like to correct. You actually CAN report bugs without having to use a 3rd party chat software called Discord. There is a big box in the main menu (as seen in one of the videos above) that clearly states you can report bugs by contacting them via their email at support@spiritanimalsurvival.com - if the forum or Discord is not your way to go, there is always that solution for you.
Now on to my actual thoughts of this game in its current state! Spirit Animal Survival (SAS) is another survival game with some unique elements in it. The features you expect in a survival game are there, you need to go get resources, craft and build, while trying to stay alive by eating, drinking and not letting others/animals kill you. You got to do a bit of grinding but that’s part of the games in this genre. The most unique feature of the game is that you can transform/morph into a spirit animal. There is a bunch of them and all of them have their own attacks/features. This does set the game apart from other survival games that I have played. You can see how this work in the videos above.

Fishing: North Atlantic - Enhanced Edition
Ok so where do I start. The game title is fishing north Atlantic, well I’ll put it simple this does not show how we fish in eastern Canada what so ever. They basically took the equipment from Barents sea and put it here. we do not use that equipment it’s completely different. The lobster well the traps are wrong no one uses those anymore , no idea why they would put old fashioned traps and not the new style traps.
The crab fishing well let’s just say I guess they thought Alaska was part of the north Atlantic and made replicas of two deadliest catch boats the saga and northwestern. Like that’s a insult to me period. Iam a commercial fisherman from eastern Canada and that is no way near how crab is done around here period. I have no idea what they were thinking.

Edit: With the latest update the game looks brand new! Waves are now the best of any game I’ve played, and the storms and sunrise/sunsets are incredible.
The short and sweet: cool premise and setting, nice relaxing gameplay with a lot of glitches. The devs are really attentive, hard working, and passionate. One of my all time favorite games.
Huge thank you to the devs for this absolute gem!!!
This game is what I’ve been looking for, I found out about the deadliest catch PC game but it was only on disk and hard to find. For a long time I simply dreamed of a game like this. Fishing: Barents Sea came out, very mixed reviews in the beginning so I steered clear. This game launched, in an allbeit troublesome state.

Intergalactic Fishing
This game is good, really good. I could not believe how much feedback on can get from a single white fishing-line. You really feel the size and the struggle of the fishes. But to get to this point, first you have to find the fish you are looking for. For that the game has a great mechanic that could be a game of its own: creating your lures. It feels like playing tetris in 3D. You have to fit oddly shaped tiles into a box where every place, the proximity to other tiles and their colors have different effects on the stats of the lure. It’s sooo satisfying to create the perfect lure for the fish you are searching for.

I played a couple fishing focused games so far and this easily became my favourite one.
I enjoyed the story, yes this game has a simple but interesting story so if you are looking for some fishing but like to have a goal to aim for other than just “fishing” you get that. There are also various fishing related side quests and activities scattered across the main lakes. After the main story there are still goals and tasks provided such as challenges and further contracts and tournaments.
So when the story ends your fishing can still continue indefinitely.

Forest Farm
This is entirely playable without a VR headset and has full mouse and keyboard support.
Forest Farm is the perfect answer if you want a game that has zero stress and tons of truly hands-on things to do. Your primary goal at this point in development is basically to plan out and create the perfect farm, all the while working around an oft-growing rabbit infestation. Essentially, it goes something like this: chop down tree mill lumber while growing new trees from recovered seeds craft fences/raised garden beds from lumber safely grow lots of produce profit off crop sales to villagers reinvest coin into further expansion. You also have your faithful cart horse Pedro to aid you in quickly shifting large amounts of produce from field to market, complete with first-person reins which actually work. As well, there are side activities of fishing and mining to turn a profit via fish and gem/potion sales.

Winter Survival Simulator
What was supposed to be a nice winter hike in the Mount Washington State Park with friends, turned into a dire situation. You are left alone to fight for your survival. With only marginal supplies you have to fight off of the cold, the wildlife and find your way to an abandoned ranger station in hope to be able to call for help.
While you haven’t suffered any injuries during the fall, you lost your backpack and hence most of your gear and supplies. You will need to find shelter, find some food and rest. Then it’s about making your way to an old ranger station to call for rescue.
Sounds easy enough, doesn’t it? It is, except for the supplies you are going to need for the trip, the weather, the freezing cold, not to mention the wildlife. The goal of the game is to survive. To prepare enough to make the trip to the ranger station and to deal with all the surprises along the journey.
Hunt or be hunted. You have no rifle and there is no combat. If you encounter wolfs or even a bear, stay away and run. You won’t be able to kill a bear with a knife, it’s not the movies.
What you can do is be clever about the wildlife and set traps. You might even be able to find some traps hunters left behind and use them to maintain a safe perimeter or to hunt smaller animals for food. Tracking, establishing the best spot and being patient is what the hunt will be about.
Cold, thirst, hunger and exhaustion are the four major factors you have to worry about. It doesn’t however end there. Injuries are another one and there is the weather. Spending the night in the freezing cold without any shelter is akin to a death sentence and trying to go out in a snow storm isn’t any better either. Don’t forget, weather in the mountains changes quickly and is unpredictable. You have to be prepared at all times.
You are not the first one person in this area. There have been many before you. More than a century ago some even lived here. If you explore your surroundings there is a good chance they may have left something behind that will still be useful to you. And while building a shelter on your own is certainly an option, it is a lot better and safer to adapt something that already exists.
You could find an old hunter lodge and fix it up to offer decent shelter and a base of operations for you to prepare, gather supplies and food and even hunt. You are going to have a long trip ahead of you. The better you prepare, the less risky it will be.
The rescue isn’t going to be instant. Despite modern equipment and well trained mountain rescue personnel, you are far away and their helicopter can’t take off in any weather. Between you calling for help and help actually arriving might take even a couple of days. Additional time you have to survive in the bitter cold at Mount Washington.
Farming Engine
Game glitches and destroys all your hard work by day 8. I highly do not recommend at all.

I played for a couple of hours and the game could use more content or quests. The length of how items expire is way to short.
Also, I’d like to request an option to change the controls.

Shoppe Keep 2
TL;DR: Don’t buy this product. Instead, go buy yourself a cheeseburger because at least it will leave you feeling more full than any amount of time with this unfinished husk would.
Now, with that put aside here is a gloomy review thrown together because I’m bored and have nothing better to do.
My first encounter with the Shop Keep series was when I was granted a Keymailer key for the first one. I reviewed it, it was honestly a pretty good game but of course as anyone remembers, it was very limited.

I have played since release. Here are my views so far.
PROBLEMS:
Few problems so far. Things I’ve ran into are:
• Textures did not make the shop look different (fixed by re-logging)
• I moved 5k of water into a chest, and it all dissapeared. Maybe the count was too high? If so the game should say so. That was 15k of money down the drain for me
• For the farm, the client cannot ready the plots or plant seeds or see the plants grow. Only the host can for some reason (fixed this by re-logging)
