This is a cool, adorable, charming platformer that becomes quite challenging in the last level. It controls well, the music is awesome, and it emulates the game boy feel perfectly.
The main mechanic is your bombs are used as makeshift platforms, and as your weapon. You have to manage them well, especially on bosses - because getting stuck in an area when your bombs are on cooldown is almost a sure death sentence. It’s very engaging and I loved it.
This is an easy recommendation for anyone, and especially if you like platformers.

Nira
Nira is a pixel based RPG which heavily reminds me of the old Holy Grail on the Atari 800 from back in the 80s.
The price is very generous for the content, hard time, and updates to come.
I purchased this game moment it was released as I could not bare to be without Nira once the beta ended.
I had the opportunity to play this game and help with debugging and suggestions along with many others who helped out as well.
The game is quite simple to learn, and very enjoyable. It’s one of those games you start playing then realize the day flew by.

I’ve been really enjoying playing Nira, so far, I know it’s early days right now but I find the gameplay engaging and the items satisfying to obtain and use.
It’s very easy to get into; the way that the tools progress leads you nicely through the crafting tree, the combat is simple and rewarding (especially once you have gathered enough resources for projectile weapons), and I enjoy the foraging/farming aspect, it’s nice to see crops that you have gathered, or traded for, grow.
I cannot speak to the multiplayer myself, as I have yet to try it, but I enjoy the single player mode immensely.

Fishticuffs
I saw a cod hold a gun like a mafioso. Jellyfish still as painful as they are irl. Fish whose one arm is extremely buff, probably cause his wife was fished. Can sell the fish to the black market. Communism. You can make fish shoot themselves as if they lived in such a country.

Honestly, I have fun with this but there’s a lot of things that don’t feel entirely good to put up with.
Your hook feels very slow, to the point of agony, and while I’m sure the late game is a blast, the early game definitely feels a bit lacking.
Also, there’s some items that just feel like a pain to get early on that really are only remotely viable when you have something else. Like, items that activate after damage are very common despite how liberal health is in the game.
Overall though, I’ve had a fun time with this so far, definitely going to give it more of a shot, but there are some things I dislike, but willing to push through to see how the game is a bit further on. Definitely a very tough game, and I look forward to hopefully cracking it some time.

Luna’s Fishing Garden
Luna’s Fishing Gardenis a short, cosy fishing and building game. Players take on the role of Cassie and catch fish, trade items and create a dream garden by cleaning up, planting flora, and bringing animals to the curious archipelago.
The game sees Cassie complete quests for the various animal characters that she meets, whether it is cleaning the islands for Luna the fox or collecting specific fish for Jellybean the seal. As various tasks are completed Cassie is able to clear more of the storm’s residual fog and explore further, encountering more characters along the way. Fishing is obviously a major part of the game and can be set to either relaxing or challenging mode. There is also a definite idler aspect to the game as most farming items have a timer dictating how often they can be harvested such as the tamarillo tree which has a 95-second turnaround.

Really fun and relaxing game. The premise is simple but entertaining - catch fish and plant flora to harvest and sell for money which you can then use to plant more decorations around the colourful, pixel islands of the game. As somebody who really enjoys the fishing mechanics in Stardew Valley, this game easily had my attention for hours. If you find that method of fishing too difficult, there is an option to switch to an easier method, so the game remains fun and relaxing for people of all preferences.

Well done and unique fishing game that is a reminder of Super Bass Pro. Great mechanics. Lovely environments. Really enjoyed myself.

Peaceful Soul is a Social Life Simulation game. It’s about an arrogant young man who ‘exiled’ by his parents. His parents don’t like his attitude thereof they decide to send their son to a village. The game has a lot of replayability even with a small amount of weapons and power-ups because the looping mechanic makes the levels more challenging. In a way, the player is being made to be actually stranded on the “raft boat” when a swarm of variety of enemies flood the looped levels. The difficulty bump between the base levels and loop 1 is pretty huge, but it is set to work out by the time the player gets to looped stages. Unlocking the costumes and daily mode were/are a fun part of the game which made playing the game greater. Overall, the game itself is really great, and it being free is kind of insane because I could see the game having a price tag between $1-10 as it is, honestly. Hope the developers make more!
