POSTAL 2

POSTAL 2

Postal 2 gives you the freedom to carry out seemingly simple tasks however you see fit. I recently had a task where I had to cash a check into the bank. Simple, right? Well the line for the bank teller was a bit too long and I wasn’t in the waiting mood, so I decided to take a shortcut by dumping cans of napalm all over the bank lobby and robbing the bank as it burned down.

There are a lot of side things you can do for a game about getting Gary Coleman’s autograph. Personally, my favorite thing was standing in line for Gary’s signature.

A quick and fun game to play. The chase music is hilarious. Be aware that “Real” difficulty is the true game. This game was recommended to me by Usada Pekora.

Hard difficulty playthrough: https://youtu.be/NDdtB3jp4KY

Not gonna lie, had an absolute blast with this game this morning. Took me a bit to figure out what had to be done to escape, but the creepy atmosphere is subtle, the penguins act as a nice tonal clash for the sake of humor, and the core concept is executed very well. I ran into some bugs during my many playthroughs, but aside a small handful of “real” difficulty killing the experience a bit I was able to forgive them.

The biggest complaint, though? It’s short. Yes, there are four difficulties, but I still beat this multiple times on all but “easy” difficulties (didn’t play that one) in less than two hours. Hopefully the devs do what Shawn did with Pacify and continue supporting it with one or more new maps in the future, or even a mutiplayer mode at some point. $7 is a bit much to part with for such a short experience, but I really do suggest this title if you just want to sit back and play a fun little stealth horror game.

Pulang Insanity - Director’s Cut

Pulang Insanity - Director’s Cut

I really don’t know if I recommend the game or not. The game is far from good, in fact there are many bugs and flaws that keep telling me to not recommend it. But, considering this a game from indie developer and Indonesian game, let’s just give it easy.

Not going to lie, I followed the development of the game since the greenlight trailer. Pulang: Insanity feels like if Silent Hill meet with Indonesian culture. It’s amazing, but not really. The game lacks of details. Body details (it feels weird seeing the crowbar or knife just flying in front of my camera; compared to Amnesia: TDD, that at least show some details of the player), environment, sound effects (no sound effect when you try to hit certain object, or corpses, etc), story (the storytelling is absurd), the bad font in document, the bad Indonesian grammar in the Indonesian version (sebagai gaame Indonesia, seharusnya ini diperhatikan dengan baik Ozysoft, karena jujur, tulisannya seperti diketik oleh anak SD), bad hitbox, and many more. The game also lacks of good optimization. It’s often I encountered FPS drop and crashes. I can go on and on about the flaws, but let’s talk about what I like about Pulang: Insanity.

this game has good graphic , good environment , good story as indonesian game .

i know this game is not 100% completed .

and also i know why people give some bad review for this game and they dont know how the process of this game , only review as common player who dont think anything about indie game

i hope developer notice this .

  • i wish this game is still continued until its full release with 100% story ( i doubt this is full story )

  • Someone , or almost people say its really expensive , yes thats right with only 2 hours gameplay , its really expensive , so i can give you solution …. finish this game with 100% story or you add price cut / discount for the game

Crappy Tube

???

Finished it in 10 minutes.

You need to pick up a double-barrel shotgun first.

Then only 2 human enemies, both with handguns.

Then, pick up Ak with 60 rounds.

Then, a group of 8 zombies.

Then, end of the game.

However, still a decent old-school shooter game.

Absolute trash. Beatable in 2 mins by just running. Empty “game”. How the heck do games like this get on Steam..??

Just bought this game today, it runs smooth and all that, it just needs much more content. It really has a dead feel, not much excitement for capturing objectives, the best part of the game for me was throwing my weapon lol. To the developers if this game, I would go for a man vs machine approach. Maybe make the robots smart and work together using vehicles and stuff, and having us players team up to fight the robots capture bases and that kind of stuff. Keep at it I’ll check out your updates as they come out, also the looting system could use some tweaking in my opinion. But for now my review is save your money buyers.

Escape the Ayuwoki

Escape the Ayuwoki

Scary. Exhilarating. Awesome. I absolutely loved the free version of Escape the Ayuwoki and love this Steam version. I love it when the Ayuwoki smashes, eats or stomps on a rat. I love being able to use other light sources and have ways to district the Ayuwoki. I love all the lore and occult stuff in the game. I sometimes enjoy making the Ayuwoki go into rage mode just for the hell of it. I have played this game many times and beaten it, so it can be done! I like the tutorial because you get a sense of what to do, and I enjoy the Mattresswoki in the tutorial. I love Michael Jackson, and I mean no disrespect towards him when I say that I enjoy this game. I would recommend it to everyone to play it. If you enjoy a good horror game and being chased by a monster that gives you the heehee geebies, then, play this game!

Yes yes, it is made a little poorly. Though, it is a little and nice indie game.. I know people might hate this more than the original, and i agree but the AI and stuff are a bit better than the original. Some people had trouble with dying and starting all the way over but thank GOD they added checkpoints now! There’s no way to beat this game without checkpoints, unless if your a really good gamer! Chapter 3 kinda gets buggy, the AI is too hard and when i’m really quiet he hears you anyway! Though besides some glitches and AI is kinda rigged, its not that bad for a indie horror game, i have played worse! Though the price is not worth it and i think this game should be worth atleast $3-$7! Besides that it’s good! Don’t judge too much on this game since barely anybody worked on this game, that’s why it’s called a INDIE game

Locked Up

Locked Up

So, this was a game that I didn’t hate but I wouldn’t go so far as to say I loved the game, but I did enjoy playing it. The story itself was pretty good (given that it does play on the usual horror storylines). It was one of the games that doesn’t tell you but rather has the player rely on finding hints and notes that flesh out the story for you. And it was done well enough to understand the story. It did throw me off for a bit, since the game did jump around in points of time, which makes it a bit hard to get what’s going on in the beginning. I assume this is done intentionally. The game is a walking sim horror game, so I didn’t expect to get scared as the player can’t actually “die”. That being said, because it is only a walking sim, it relies a lot on jumpscares and tension to create the scary atmosphere. Most of the jumpscares were lacking, though some were done pretty well (not that it made them any scarier). The game is set in a very small enclosed area (a house with a handful of rooms that you can sometimes enter), so there is a LOT of walking back and forth (even intentional moments of walking back and forth just to trigger the next event).

I waited a few days after completing this game to fully absorb what I had just experienced. Also, I had ants on my keyboard. But that’s neither here nor there. :P

Locked up certainly has its flaws, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I play a lot of PT inspired games. The more I do, the more I see why it never really made it to print. :(

80% of this game is walking up and down a hallway waiting for changes to trigger. There are some puzzles which aren’t too bad. And no combat, which is fine.

The story was a little confusing for me. I understood the core of it:

! a family moves into a house and an evil spirit finds a way to manipulate them into turning on one another. I think. It was a little hard for me to follow why things were happening or how the beginning or the end were connected to the middle.

Rock, Paper, Scissors Simulator

Rock, Paper, Scissors Simulator

My god. I have no clue where to start.

Rock, Paper, Scissors Simulator is a fast paced action game based inside of what seems to be a wooden hut with computer generated voices and some dialogue between (Player 1) and “Josh”.

How has this not won an award? The amount of content in this game is astronomical. This is a very complicated strategy game compiled of the very common school-children game Rock, Paper, Scissors, amazing graphics and detailed dialect. You have to pick your attack while also predicting/attempting to counter your opponent’s attack. If I could award a Nobel Peace Prize. I would.

It’s impossible to criticise this game for what it is, basically a cheap little piece of crap programming for a LOL. If you are looking for a couple of easy Steam achievements or a quick laugh, this game is for you. If not, steer clear!

SSTR

SSTR

Intro

(100% Spoiler-Free Review)

SSTR is a first-person horror puzzle game primarily, that however also tries to integrate survival-craft and tower defense elements in its gameplay. The game takes place on a massive colonization ship, the Horizon, that became a death trap after the AI controlling its systems, Sister, rebelled against its masters and slaughtered most of the crew. As one of the very few survivors, players will impersonate various characters in their struggle to shut down Sister’s core and wrestle back control of the vessel.

Don’t be fooled by the trailer this game is no run and gun FPS, more of an escape room style game. The puzzles get pretty hard as you progress and the game has a tower defense element that will help you slow down the enemies. I have to say this game is a bit challenging but I enjoyed the journey! Excellent atmospheric environment and audio design.
