Most players will play through the story and call it a day, so I will let those players review that Story Mode aspect of the game in their own reviews. Though the story is fun, it’s not what makes this game special. For me, the appeal of the game is allowing yourself to sink into and be immersed in the living and breathing game world and not fight to escape it. I had an absolute blast waking up, exploring, unlocking locations, making money by working shifts at the restaurant, upgrading and decorating my apartment, sitting on the couch watching awesome shows on my flatscreen TV, hanging out at the Jazzy Java Joint for a cup of coffee, and just living it out in the city. Once you understand this and immerse yourself, you’ll realize that the main storyline was just an extra side mission and the real game is everything besides it, not the other way around.

There is a review for this game that seems to be a negative one and also happens to have a lot of upvotes. This review complains that this game is not how its demo was. That this game went from a horror diner dash game, to a horror diner dash game with story and added mechanics. Because of this, it wasn’t a game they expected to play at release and it sucks.
The only thing they got right in their review is that this game does not have a “slow burn” horror approach, which I agree it doesn’t and that kind of sucks. The game is pretty good, it is challenging though and designed for speed runners, I do really wish the dev would add a easy mode to the game that slows the movement down, its extremely fast. Overall though pretty good game, I really really enjoy level 3 in the game, I’ve played it like 6 times now which accounts for a majority of the 3 hours of playtime.
level 3 is a 9/10 level the other ones are more like a 6/10, but level 3 is so good it makes up for it. and the game has a quick selection menu for the levels to make it easy to replay your favorites

Way too hard piece of shit game that you should buy because the graphics are truly unique. The allround wonderful presentation and atmosphere kinda make up for a game that boils down to precision platforming using a character that accelerates faster than Usain Bolt mixed with time pressure to make sure you mess up those clutch jumps.
In my hour of playtime (first 20 min was trying different controllers to find one that worked) I did not beat the first level, but I did get some checkpoints. So what makes this game a true ragegame is that after a checkpoint the first half is usually there to teach you some mechanic and after that a second half that is difficult. After being stuck for a while the first half feels like it is just there to waste your time. This made me try to do the easy part really fast, and this made me fail even more, and that’s why I did not get very far before I gave up. Now you might be thinking it is all my fault for playing a first person platformer (do people use the term “fpp”?) with a controller instead of a mouse, but what can I say I’m a casual gamer and if I can’t play from my couch I don’t play at all - my desk is for work not for play. Also wallrunning is completely broken and I have only been able to find one single instance where it worked; the place that was there to teach wallrunning, every other wall I tried I just died. Also jumping feels weird to me and momentum even weirder.

Delver
Picked up Delver during the Steam Sale. Definitely worth the $3 it cost.
I wouldn’t call it ‘3d’ in more than a limited sense, it feels a lot more like Doom’s 2.5d- 3d environments, sprite monsters, etc. Still, it’s one save file you can’t back up and one life in a randomly generated roguelike. It actually makes for a pretty cool story:
I started off in a little camp with a couple of shopkeepers and the obligatory guest appearance of Old Man Exposition, who explained that there was a MacGuffin at the bottom of yonder dungeon. He also seemed troubled that people kept going in but never coming out. More on that later.

Big ol' TLDR:
Me, myself and I actually enjoy this game, and not just because I bought into it waaay back into pre-release and “feel obligated to pretend my money’s worth it”, I’ve had a genuinely good time with it thus far, and what’s here is quality.
I just have a few issues that makes me feel I can’t fully recommend this to someone else, unless I know they like what I do, but that said, I would definitely make this a tentative recommendation was it more stable. And as a sidenote, because I bought in early, my time played isn’t 100% indicative of everything I’ve gotten out of it.

Well, it’s 2019 as of right now, folks, so I’m sure you’ve heard of “metahorror”. This game is the founding father of that genre. Without IMSCARED, you wouldn’t have your Space Blaster (Lines), A Dark Place or Mono.exe. AppSir and Team Salvato would be off the map in the metahorror genre. What else? This game set the formula. It did it so well that it sort of created a “formula” of sorts that I see most games of the same genre follow. I have yet to find another game with the same charm as it has. It’s such a simplistically made game, and it’s an absolute masterpiece. I don’t want to spoil too much, but take my word, if you can feel fear, this game will damn well make you afraid of your own computer.

Viscerafest is a piece of playable poetry wrapped around a bloody gut-punching, alien shooting, retro-style shooter, that seems to be heavily inspired by games the likes of Duke Nukem and Quake.
And not just heavy inspired; Viscerafest literally plays out and feels just as good. Lead by a tenacious, narcissistic female protagonist who doesn’t care about anything other than quick cash out and goes the extra mile to cause as much mayhem as possible, a fitting personality for the game I must say.

Let me cut to the chase. This game is good.
I'll try to not over praise this game because now avaliable only one episode and it's too early to say, how good full game will be, but at this moment everything in this game makes me scream "Bloody hell, that feels good!!!". Movement is fast and smooth, gunplay is good and well-balanced, enemies are tough and every one of them requires a special approach to kill them, levels are complex and really creative.If you are a big fan of oldschool shooters and you're looking for real challenge - Viscerafest is your choise.

To simply characterize this game as "good" or "bad" is an understatement.
Unlike other games, where they have a specific position in the spectrum between being good and bad, this game is kind of an anomaly. Just how we can't specify the position of an electron, there is not a fixed point in the good-bad spectrum that is perfect for Blockpost.
The game is so bad, that it makes it a perfect game. It clearly is a cheap attempt to make money by combining successful games, like Minecraft, CS:GO, and Battlefield. But that's what makes this game perfect. It gives you several degrees of freedom, that other games don't. Minecraft, for example, has the creative part, but no guns. CS:GO has guns, but no creativity. Battlefield has building destruction and guns, but you can't build new fortifications or tunnels. Blockpost has it all. A variety of arms, good maps, and the creativity, where you can build tunnels to flank the enemy, or fortify positions to defend them. I dare say, that the planning and team-work required to play this game is the same level that games like Arma and Squad require.

So this game has been fixed… kind of. There is now a version of the game that does not use the Mouse, thank god! You can now play it like Wolfenstein 3D... BUT it's not in the base game! You have to OPT into the "BETA" to get the no mouse option. The game also recived some minor improvements, like the screen flashing red when you get hurt, and all enemies playing sounds... But the game is still the same, and still isn't very fun. It still has the same problems as stated before.

**Miira** is a _puzzle-horror_ mashup game, mixing the classic puzzle gameplay in the vein of _The Witness_ with horror elements of games like _Amnesia_.
The main game features a _1-hour_ average play time with additional _arcade-like mode_ that delivers the puzzles with mechanics from the game in a randomly generated fashion. It heavily relies on gameplay-based emergent horror situations and atmosphere building.
You will have to traverse 5 distinct locations, all with their own thematic style and puzzle mechanics. There is no option to fight back, so you will have to be crafty and cautious to keep yourself from succumbing to the nightmare that lurks in the dark corners of **Miira**. Watch your back, and stay vigilant…
