Warhammer: Vermintide 2
I’ve stumbled upon this game back when it was in the beta times from 2018 while watching a twitch streamer try it out and at that time I would never even have guessed that it had this much to offer and how much it means to me now.
From a game that was originally meant to be played for approx. 80-100 hours, this game has more creativity, beauty, lore, depth, personality, care and charm than any other live service games I’ve seen over the past years. It is so much more than meets the eye at first glance, this honestly is a piece of art hidden in plain sight, and all it needs.. is your attention towards it. The time you can spend with it is already insane and while you are getting used to it’s flow of mechanics such as mastering a high skill ceiling combat, movesets, movement, item management, becoming a team player, taking in the enviroment and what’s around you is going to test your patience. But that’s a good thing. Learning is afterall more.. effective and rewarding that way. Times when you turn philosophical and ask “why is this the way it is?" , “what’s the reason behind this?" , “what is happening exactly?" becomes more frequent. That of course, is if you are curious enough. Once you start going down the rabbit hole of exploring and unraveling the many secrets, depth and insane detailing of the game you start to realise that this is a psychological mental trip with details so tiny, that some may never even be mentioned.

Great coop-focused game that’s set in the Warhammer Fantasy universe.
But even for people who’re complete strangers to this world it’s a satisfying game to play.
If you’re in for some tense firstperson hack & slash action, while at the same time you develop your character(s) and make them entirely fitting your playstyle(s), then this game is definitely for you.
Thanks to the addition of the Chaos Wastes mode, which packs another 40 Gigs (?) of action in an entirely different gamemode, it’s pretty much two games in one.

Dark Home
What can I say!? I had a few chances to play it during development and now that it’s released i’m excited to see others enjoy it as much as I do! When it launched there was some really good reactions and definitely some jump scare moments along with some really good, creepy, atmospheric places. Pretty damn good for a One Man team i’d say!
Known issues are a simple connectivity issue every once in a while after a session. just restart and bam youre good! other than that, its phenomenal so far, keep up the good work! Glad to own this game!

If you like Dead by Daylight or Phasmophobia this game has elements of both with the gameplay of DBD and the atmosphere of Phas. This game is still in its early stages so there are bugs but for the size of the development team this game is fantastic with great mechanics and a very responsive developer. I cant wait to see how far this game goes as it evolves and becomes more streamlined. For anyone who wants to play this game please be patient with the Developer and give him as much positive feedback as you can so this game can get as great as it has the potential to.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide
I earned myself a Vermintide steam key after winning a review contest for a local gaming community with my written work on the classic grand strategy of Rome: Total War. I played Vermintide for the first time in the winter break of 2017, thinking that it will offer a few hours of good fun with friends over the holidays.
This game changed my life. To say that the developers at Fatshark have poured their souls into this title would be an understatement. For me it rightfully has a place in the hall of timeless gems such as Quake, Thief: The Dark Project or SOMA. It has not only provided me with great value for my time and a sense of accomplishment as I learned its various facets and overcome all of its challenges, but at a human level it has allowed me to connect with people who have become some of my best friends. For this alone I could offer nothing but praise to this game.

A hectic fast paced hack and slash action game intended to be played co-op with friends. You play one of five characters each with slightly different play styles and each with a variety of possible weapon choices unique to them. You play through missions with simple objectives and recurring crescendo events against a horde of rat men, finding supplies on the way. You get a random piece of loot after each mission. Eximius: Seize the Frontline
In late 2017 I came across a RTS-FPS hybrid genre, it has been sometime since an actual development of a video game in this genre and pretty rare too. I soon found out who the team behind who design and craft out this game. I wanted to helped out and so I did as a volunteer community testers in the early days of EXIMIUS.
I loved C&C Renegade and this game was like the missing puzzle in C&C Renegade where it was suppose to have RTS-FPS hybrid. It was heavily inspired by Battlezone II and the cancelled video game called “Tiberium”. I myself was also a modder , knows that making a video game or a mod is require a lot of resource & manpower. With constant Q&A and R&D is not easy

Explaining the game
Eximius is an asymmetrical 5v5 team-oriented game that combines both the FPS and RTS genres. Unlike most hybrid games that are simply either an FPS with RTS elements or visa versa, Eximius implements both genres equally and in their entirety.
The RTS side of the game implements all of the features of a traditional RTS game like base building, training units, researching upgrades, using unit and commander based abilities along with map and resource control. There are 3 resource types the commander utilises: Credits, Energy and Supplies. Credits are your standard general purpose currency, they’re used for most things and can only be gained through resource nodes on the map. Energy is the more advanced resource used for upgrades and higher tier units, this can be obtained through resource nodes and commander built power plants. Credits are needed for the use of abilities and some unit upgrades, they can only be obtained through resource nodes. Much like Company of Heroes you can reinforce resource points by setting up, depending on faction, an armoury/mule near the point, this will increase the resource income of that node and make it so the node cannot be captured while the armoury/mule is reinforcing it. Both factions within the game are divided into 3 sub-factions similar to the likes of C&C3 and C&C Generals: Zero Hour. Each sub-faction has unique abilities, units, unit variants and research which allows for a considerable amount of options for the commander. These options are only further expanded by the unique interactions between each unit/ability and the players on the ground.

MORDHAU
Literally the most annoying game I have ever played… I enjoy the experience of medieval combat, which is why I played this game for so long… but given any other alternative, like I now have option to play Chivalry 2, I truly wish I never played a single hour of this nonsense. Trolls, petulant brats throwing entire matches and sabotaging their team just to flirt around… who needs parenting when you have video games like Mordhau? The most insanely immature community imaginable given the serious nature of the theme of the game… the negative reviews are right, take my word for it… this game is simply a bad meme and provides no chance of immersion given the repetitive nature of the objectives, and considering that the outcome of each match is determined largely by how many trolls or griefers are on 1 team, and how many cowardly pathetic high level players are intentionally stacking the other… the most mindless waste of time I have ever experienced… even if I was stoned and drunk, this game would still frustrating and annoying.. cowards abound, repetitive weapon exploits, and team stacking every match… What else is there to say? Don’t play it, get Chivalry 2..

Ever since patch 20 this games combat hasnt felt the same. Theres so many redparries that you cant go a single fight without wondering “wtf am i palying”. The most recent dumb addition, spawn beacons, just goes to prove that the devs are trying to turn this game into battlefield, which they just cant due to the much smaller dev team. Its just sad that they would ruin such a great game, the core mechanics are so good, but they are ruined by unreadable swing manipulation, nonfunctional combat mechanics and so on. At this point you cannot play this game if youre not already very experienced at it. Its very unforgiving towards new players. Unless they revert the last 3 patches, fix the combat system and start actually working on updates actively you should consider buying it. But at its current state it just isnt worth it.
