Story:
Well, it all begins with an unexpected “disaster” … All the stars are falling down from the sky. Is this the end of the world?
The youngest Nobel Prize winner Minna Vellamo is assigned with the mission of finding back lost stars. She chose to be accompanied by a robot named Harvey for him being a …robot. Little does she know, Harvey is the clumsiest and most talkative robot ever.
One day before departure, Minna was told that “Electric Eel” Janus White will also be joining the team. Being depressed for a very long time since retirement, the former footballer signed himself up to the project. He believed that this is the only opportunity to find back his old-day glory and to prove to the public that he is still a hero.
Will Janus achieve what he is looking for? Often described as bold, independent and determined, will Minna get along well with Janus?

African Safari
It does what it says it does.
Unfortunately, the thing it does is fairly boring.
The map is HUGE and sparsely populated.
Sound bytes of real animals come in extremely loud and are not located on the map. IE. Walking away from it doesn’t make it quieter.
Not worth the price.

Hike
Hike is from MorningShift studios a single Indie Dev. This is his second game, the previous one being ‘Work Trip’. Like before his target audience is mainly those who are interested in easy achievement farming or an easy difficulty walking simulator.
Unfortunately, there seems to be a ring of indie Devs that are all too willing to give a thumbs up regardless of the product produced, doing each other a favour. On top of this there are dozens of curators who simply copy and paste misleading reviews simply in the effort to get more free games. I mean seriously … You compare this to ‘Fire Watch’? ‘Dear Esther?’ are you serious? Your curator privilege should be revoked and given to a gerbil.

I’m giving this a Thumbs Up to support the developers and because I see what they were trying to do here, but my true feelings about this one are Mixed. Hike is a short interactive experience where the point is to go camping in the woods, explore the place, and relax. I hesitate to call it a game because there’s almost no game-like objectives here. Sure there’s some jumping and seeking and exploring, but those aren’t the point of Hike: the sole purpose of this is to be a walking sim in the woods, to get a little lost, to look around. That’s it. There’s no real replayability once you’ve experienced it once, except maybe to get all of the achievements because one’s sorta easy to miss. The visuals and music are both quite pretty, but it’s obvious that this was more supposed to be a general demo of what Morning Shift Studios can do with the Unity engine. In fact, you’ll probably know based on my description if Hike is for you or not.

Hyzer Sky
Incredibly fun and super technical, if you aren’t a disc golf veteran or don’t understand how overstable and understability work then the game has a steep learning curve.
I absolutely love this game for that exact reason. Shot shaping is in full effect and the disc flight paths are damn near to the real thing. The game is challenging enough that you can never be complacent, but also forgiving enough that it is immensely fun and rewarding when you execute a nice shot.
Great stuff in this game, and hoping some new courses are coming soon!

Pretty fun game. Fairly simple, controls are easy to pick up and learn. If you don’t play disc golf though it might take a bit longer to learn what different angles do. Could use some quality of life changes in a few parts, but over all a very good start!
Edit after many more hours of gameplay.
This game is very addictive. The long tees are very challenging, but once you’ve mastered the gameplay, you can get good scores. If you play disc golf, I cannot recommend this game enough. It can definitely use come quality of life changes, like a quick restart option (useful for when you are grinding for the -10 achievements on the long tees). But the core gameplay is very fun

YouRiding - Surfing and Bodyboarding Game
The game is great!! You can tell that the game was developed by people that know the sport of sufing/bodyboarding. By far the best surfing game out there right now.
Highly recommend it.

Meditation Journey: VR Zen Garden
It’s nice to just have a beautiful, safe environment like this to wander in after playing too many VR horror games. I like the pleasant voices that are used in the guided meditations. I’ve tried many audio programs and found that the subconscious is more receptive and trusting of a guide who believes or at least seems enthused about their message. Everything about this garden feels positive. I’d add some more guided meditation if it fit in well.

A great way to relax and focus your mind on better things. I love the bed area surrounded by flowers, laying on my back in my real bed looking up at the twilight effects. Recommended!

Forester Simulator
Take care of a forest, chill out in nature, and protect it from people that just don’t care! You play as a forester whose job is usually quiet and peaceful but sometimes could be a real thrill. Cut trees using big machines or chase wood thieves on quads. Be kind to animals, feed them, and make friends with them. See for yourself what the forest hides.
Unique game mechanics
Thanks to the Forester being a simulator game, it introduces some nice and fun mechanics.
Feeding animals is one of the best activities out there! It is a part of your job as a forester but really, it’s just a pleasure. Do it with love and you’ll certainly be rewarded with their gratefullness.
We all love it - taking care of plants. The most important thing is to plant new trees and making sure that they are safe. Plant new trees, count bugs populations and do everything else the forest needs.
And there are more activities to take:
-
cutting a tree (also using a big machines),
-
chasing bandits on quads,
-
forester quests: plant trees, check out the growing, count bugs population, etc.,
-
removing traps,
-
reporting thieves and vandals,
-
decorating your own cabin,
-
… and more.
Gameplay
Forester is a first person simulator game. You spend most of the time in nature doing quests given by the mother Earth herself. These are: planting new trees, feeding animals, checking if everything is ok with the ever-growing forest. Beyond that, you are also responsible for reporting crimes, chasing bandits, and taking care of other things that may interrupt a peaceful life in a beautifully green environment.
How does it feel?
Can you imagine being in the woods right now? Birds singing, a forest cover smells so unique when the sun is rising. The moss all around you is sparkling thanks to small water drops still being there… this is what the game captures. Being a forester is what we all desire from time to time and somehow we almost feel like we miss it. This longing will be hopefully fulfilled by playing the Forester game.
Make yourself cosy
Arrange your own peaceful wooden house! Wandering through the forest endlessly is great but there is no place like home. You can decorate it as you want using all kinds of rare stuff found in the woods. Of course, not everything you need is delivered by nature so you can always use a shop to make the interior feels like home. Build new fence, decorate your house, and make the forester’s life even better!
Quests and Free Mode
The game offers a singleplayer campaign full of quests. The completion of all tasks requires time, love to the forest, and some bravery. Prepare for moments of chill but be also ready for some action!
For those that would like to just set their own pace there is also the Free Mode. It’s nice to simply take care of the forest and deal with random encounters from time to time. If you love nature and you want to relax in the woods - this is definitely a game mode for you!
Hunting Unlimited 1
This game is the very first Hunting Unlimited, and I have to say it’s one of my favorites, I love to recurve hunt grizzlies, and do the endless amount of missions. I have played alot of the missions and I’m not even close to being done, I do without a doubt recommend this game, another thing is that it is old and runs good on old computers.

I got this title in the Trophy Collection Complete bundle at 33% off. So I paid $6.69 USD, and it was pretty much one of my best purchases on Steam. I remember seeing the box in stores way back in the day, but figured I just wouldn’t be any good at it. I wish I hadn’t waited. Because I’m terrible at it, but I’m getting better.
With a target range to help you practice after failed hunts, the trophy room, and some bucks that randomly flee over nothing, what’s not to love? Seriously though, they even lay down and graze and this game is from 2001. The game even has me looking up videos on whatever I’m using in the hunt, and honestly you can apply real world tips in the game.
