The game vibe gave me a mix of Gone Home, What Never Was, Marie’s Room, What Remains of Edith Finch. However, it has no voice-over narration except the phone calls. (you can’t answer the phone)
-
Controls are moving (w,a,s,d), interact (left click), zoom in (right click), and pause (esc).

Music is composed of piano/chill/mellow tracks. Suddenly the quiet house becomes creepy after some distressing calls (addition to tapping and wind sound makes it more uncomfortable). Do you know that slow build-up tension feeling where you look around if something might pop out? That is what this game does to you without any jump scares.

Fractured Minds
It’s rather obvious that this game isn’t a huge professional one, but rather a dear heart project, dealing with the issues of depression and the resulting self-loathing. So on an objective basis, sure, it’s extremely short, there are quite some bugs all around, the gameplay isn’t deep, and achievements even delete themselves if you start a new game (so you have to do them all in one take). But guess what, I’ll still give this a thumbs up, probably because I’ve got a history of my own that can kind of relate to the creative process of making this game. And honestly, during my playtime, sometimes I was even doubtful if some chapters really were expressing what she (the dev) wanted to say the right way. But after finishing it, what really got me emotionally in the end, were the closing statements. So if only for those, big kudos for stepping out of your boundaries, making all this effort and exposing yourself that way courageously. Anyway, my final conclusion, the game is cheap, sometimes even way cheaper in bundles and such, and if you can spare the few cents, why not support some familiar people here and there you sympathize with. But for anyone else, better stay away from this game if you’re annoyed by those difficult topics.

I am not going to give something a positive review based on “one person development”, or “this supports mental health awareness.” I’m all for indie games and mental health awareness. But this game is terrible. If I hadn’t received it in a bundle would have refunded my money. This looks like a unity game. I have no issue with unity games if they’re good. But so many unity publishers create stuff like this and throw it on Steam. The worst part is, if it has a stigmatic theme, it’s ultimately embraced by the community like it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. This is literally one level disguised as 6. The graphics weren’t terrible, as you can tell some time and effort was put into them. But they’re not great either. Just mediocre. I can’t even remember if it has a soundtrack, so if it does it couldn’t have been that memorable as I cannot remember a single musical note.

1984 Rewired
1984 Rewired is a Fun game at a reasonable price. It seems pretty polished, but I have found some visual bugs when playing. Keep in mind at the time of me writing this review it is still in early access. I’ve sunk 3 hours into this game on the first day of buying it before i got burnt out and needed a break. Overall, I would recommend buying it if you are looking for a fast paced high energy game with a unique look. This game is also perfect for speedrunning or to have in the background of a commentary YouTube video.

Good fps platformer with a ton of content.
Worth the 8 bucks for sure, doubly so if you’re a completionist.

boxlife
Simple and fun Idea. Simple and fun Mechanics. Absolutely terrible execution.
[Spoilers for gameplay solutions? idk man, you wouldn’t wanna play anyway]
The game does a great job of giving you no idea where to go. The areas are simple, yes: random pillars that you need jump for, random dices(?) that you need to do everything else for, and glitchy mice holes, and some more i couldn’t care less to forget- and i closed the game 30 seconds ago.
Yes, the art on each ability block instantly explains to me what the ability does. I didn’t misunderstand any of my abilites once, but the game frequently forgets to do the very simple task of letting you try the ability as you get it.

4/10
Pro:
- Skills are added gradually and have a nice variety.
Cons:
-
Made me seasick, which almost never happens to me in 3D games.
-
Nothing that’s really interesting to do.
-
No story.
-
Poor graphics, with practically no textures
-
Questionable physics - at least one Invisible wall; Destroying the bottom of cube piles doesn’t make the cubes above fall.
-
Double jump is buggy
-
No way to save the game. If you quit, you have to start over.
-
Had to refer to a walkthrough (by Woodys Games, on youtube) to be able to overcome some parts

Hatch
Hatch is a fun game about climbing a strange mountain/tower. Each time you jump and walk, it sounds like you’re shooting spider webs or walking on grass. You have to climb up platforms that are inclined and try to get to the top, while avoiding the sun.
The game gives you checkpoints, which is good because it can be quite hard in some places. I died a lot while playing, so it took me a lot longer to play through this than I expected. My computer heated up while playing, and my fan was very loud. You have to avoid the sun, but the sun can be hard to see around the middle point of the mountain. Despite these issues, the game is still enjoyable, with the climbing being satisfying and the difficulty being playable.

Don’t write Hatch off due to its relatively short length and overall simplicity: this is a really well-done game that knows exactly when to change up the formula and by how much.
Mechanically, everything is easy to understand and introduced well. The climbing can be a little awkward, but when that’s one of the only sources of interaction that the game has it becomes an intentional obstacle that you must learn to work around. Besides, I found that most of the time problems were solved more through observation than through finesse.

Incoming Evil
Ok, this took some doing, but I managed to complete the game. I’m glad I stuck with it, because I nearly gave up after only a few minutes of wandering in the dark.
Incoming Evil is a game that relies heavily on triggered events to progress. Heck, most games are, but they manage to disguise it better than this one. :P
There is a diary that guides you, but not very much. It doesn’t always update when you complete the task. You may have to walk somewhere or see something for it to change.
Running was sloooooow! When you have limited juice in your light sources, it makes the slowness of the running drag on and feel almost excruciating. Would love to see it increased by about 15-20%. Not a huge jump, just enough so that I feel like I’m actually running and not a constipated T-rex. 3

So i’m going to be honest I got a free key from the developer. Thank You.
Played through as much as I could but most of things you have to do in the game are very difficult to figure out therefore you run out of lighter fluid and fuel for your torch which you find later.
I think I will return to the game at some point to finish it off but overall I liked it therefore i’m giving it a thumbs up.
Check out my gameplay if you want.
Finally finished it.

Schizophrenia
Hey I really loved your game man. I love the plot and the story line however the graphics and the invisible walls have to be fixed. I feel as if the game is very incomplete and ended way too early. I assume the white box was the end of the game because there isn’t anything past it. Maybe an explanation on what aspects of mental illness this white box represents. If you want my honest opinion, check out my video. I condensed it into 12 minutes.

This game needs a lot more work to tell you the truth. It looks like with a lot more time it could be a good game. To start off with your just thrown into the game. no opening movie. No story line to follow. Feels like your just wondering in the dark. Hard to find you way just cause of the darkness and not really know where u wanna go. Walls that are there but you cant see them. I fell through the floor a few times. With so much walking i wish it was a fast walk or we could run at times. Dont see why this is under horror. Was more frustrated then scared. But again with a lot more work on this game, it really does look like they have a good idea for a horror game. Needs more scares, more use of flashlight, more storyline, and more work on the walls/floors.

At the beginning i was in love with this game after i found nathan and then after i hated it, after texting for a damn hour i cant get the idiot to go upstairs. Hes got an IQ of a squirrel. I love the idea but seriously this dude cant follw directions to save his life. you go to bedroom that has the locked closet but god forbid this idiot go upstairs to look for a damn key. he really likes looking at a tv for some reason. But the idea is awesome and i wish this guy could follow simple instructions
