Sanity of Morris
Sanity of Morris is a story-driven stealth/flight like Sir you are being hunted game but with a story. John, your character arrives at his father’s house Hank who had been researching alien presence. Forced into early retirement by his company Hank investigated alien presence and kept logs of his work for John to discover. John learns that alien life had been spying on humans through plants since the 1970s. The game can be completed in around 4 hours. The game is all about flight, hiding and simple stealth. You can avoid dying by crouching and avoiding the creatures light source. You can also easily die by not following certain path or jumping from one level to another. The voice acting and story is very well done.

This game is so awesome! It has pretty much everything you can think of in a horror adventure game. It has puzzles, awesome chases, stealth, and pretty darn good graphics! The story was amazing, I was questioning everything since the beginning! Items that can be collected were pretty easy to find until the last area, where there were too many enemies bundled up together, but it’s not that big of a deal! All in all for what you’re paying, I do recommend this game for the price! I think I beat it all within around 4 hours of collecting it, reading the documents, and listening to the story! Now, something that is pretty noticeable is the A.I. Their vision is not the best, and when they chase you, you better hope you have a place to hide nearby because they are really fast and will catch you!!

The hidden game society
Wonderfull, I absolutly loved this, it’s just a shame that it is so short..
I loved the subtlety of the clues, the 3d rendering, the little touches that make it truly enjoyable..
Only downside is that it is too dark and very very short….

Pleasant Though Fast
A little bit of interesting history, art and great classical music. A few hours if you take your time. Beautiful Room. Very pleasant.
More than I expected for a couple of dollars.
Looking forward to more games from them.

The Peterson Case
You look at the case files strewn across your desk, the green lamp illuminating the coffee stains that disfigure the wood. The radio plays the news quietly in the background. The Peterson Family… missing for over a week; no trace, little evidence. Passed from one detective to another, finally coming to rest in peace on your desk.
Going over the paperwork, something gnaws at you; people don’t just disappear into thin air. Something is always left behind. We always leave something behind.
The radio picks up, yet another tale of little green men and flying saucers. You tell yourself it’s a load of baloney, but truthfully it creeps you out as much as everyone else. Closing the case files, you pick up your hat and prepare yourself. This afternoon you’re going to The Peterson’s home to conduct a final search. Your intention to find them… dead or alive.

Bohemian Killing
During my playthrough I think this game is quite promising and is unfair in dumbing the product down based on some rough edges. I reminisce on Depths of Fear :: Knossos and how a really good indie game got really, really harsh criticism just for trying to be different and proposing something new. The game had quite a few updates, but still needs polish IMHO.
This is just one of those games like Facade from 2005 or like The Path that proposes something very different and questions traditional approach to gameplay and mechanics. It offers a different theme to crime and detective stories inversing things making the trial at court the ultimate battle, not just a sidekick.

Brief
This game is amazing. I loved all of it. I would recommend this game at it’s price or on sale definitely as a must-get if you enjoy these styles of games. Even 100%ed the achievements so I could see every ending and know all the details. There are some issues with this game though that I have. Though the bugs I did run into were mostly minor even though they could easily be game breaking. I will keep information about very specific instances minimal due to spoilers.

Classified Stories: The Tome of Myrkah
Classified Stories: The Tome of Myrkah
Nothing really grabbed me about this title. It was just average all the way through and quite boring. It’s certainly overpriced but might be worth a go on sale.
In a Nutshell
Classified Stories is a first-person adventure game with light puzzle and shooter elements.

Pretty good and atmospheric 1st person horror action/adventure. A good bit of searching, a bit of puzzle solving, and a proper amount of shooting, not too much to make this game more action than adventure. A couple of serious scares too. The game isn’t very long, but if you really look around everywhere it won’t be over in less than 1h. I paid 6.50 euro, which, for was a decent price for what the game has to offer.
There are a couple of small problems, which are getting ironed out by the devs. As mentioned by another reviewer, the flashlight isn’t working properly and can be a bit frustrating. Also, there’s a game breaking bug, which I reported, and hopefully the devs will fix in a later version. If you’re playing v1.0.3, make sure you don’t jump over the short part of the rock wall in front of the RV. Or, do it for fun, but save first.

Kona
An interactive story/adventure that has a touch of puzzles, free roam exploration, and mild survival mechanics. It excells with its story-telling, its atmosphere, and its straight forward mechanics. It’s not for everyone, as it’s a bit short, mildly challenging, and not overly scary or exciting.
This is an interactive story first and foremost. The survival and puzzle elements take a back seat, and are more supplementary to the atmosphere than actual gameplay. The difficulty of the game across the board is mild, something more accessible to non-gamers or low-octane adventurers.

Welcome To Kona
This is where adventure takes Carl, our hero, who is entrusted with finding out who and why vandalises the properties of the local industrialist called Hamilton. Not long after the first couple of minutes of driving Carl has an accident and he is knocked out for a short while. As he regains consciousness behind the wheel he notices how the environment suddenly turned to white from green - snow quickly arrived in the form of a blizzard.
Now, reaching the general store will be our initial main objective. We find out more once we are there and we can also refuel our vehicle as the store also acts as a gas station. As we look at our map we can see there are a lot of houses and cabins we can visit so we can immediately get back behind the wheel and start our investigation in a town where residents is what’s very difficult to come by.

Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened - Remastered Edition
All of the sudden, it’s actually the quest. Compared to many other games - sorry, Red Comrades , but you too, - you really can make through the game, only using a good amount of thinking. Plus, it’s a long game, it would require 4-5 hours per run. That already makes me to appreciate this game a lot.
In this game, Sherlock Holmes and John Watson investigate the activity of some dark cult, which involved ruthless treatment with people, drug sale, slavery and turning hostages into mindless zealots, a mood provided by Lovecraftian stuff. While in original stories Arthur Conan Doyle didn’t rely on misticism, if only it’s not how frightened people see something explainable by reality, of course… those setting ties as a kind of apocryphical story indeed.

So once again another Sherlock Holmes themed point and click adventure. This one riffs on H. P Lovecrafts - Call of Cthulhu. Holmes and Dr John Watson are drawn into a strange affair involving the kidnapping of foreign nationals from the streets of London. Slowly but surely they realise that a dark and sinister plot involving dark rites and the darkest magic are afoot.
If you have played any of these Frogwares games before, then you know what you are in for. Classic point and click gameplay, punctuated by puzzles that will veer of simplistic versions of Hanoi Towers to quite brain shredding longitude & latitude number crushing. The graphics are poor and would have been so back in 2008 when this game was released. Voice acting is again a little patchy. But the main draw for these games is how good the story is.

Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Mummy
After playing all of the Sherlock games from ‘The Silver Earring’ onwards, I wanted to go back right to the beginning and play them all through chronologically before the new one due out this year. I’m giving this one the thumbs down as much as I want it to be a thumbs up because of so many speed humps that actually interrupt the flow of the game. Probably the first thing to mention is the continuous crashing, particularly at the end of cut scenes and chapter ends. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE OFTEN. I cannot reiterate that point enough. Much frustration comes after completing a devilish puzzle to have the game crash and redo it ALL over again. However, these crashes can be overcome with the good ole ESC key, for the most part.

Terrible voice acting, Terrible puzzles, Not much sense
I decided to purchase the Sherlock collection to play through and started with this to play them in order of release.
I encountered lots of crashes during my playthrough and I will list the fixes I used below.
Puzzles
The puzzles aren’t very smart, more of collect all the bits and then click those bits to put in that bit. They’re difficult because half the time you can’t find the things you need. The picross puzzle at the end took me many attempts for it to actually register that I had done it even though I was getting it right.
