A great and fun platformer with a cool aesthetic, good music and a nice little story packed in voiced by Dexter Manning

Definitely recommend playing it and for its price, it’s a steal!

Simple visual style, cryptic and creepy narrative, some chill music, and some platforming that, when you get the hang of it, can be cleared easily. The checkpoint system is the real punisher, but are well spaced-out. Give it a go when you can!

Backed the Project on Kickstarter 3 years ago an have been waiting for its release ever since. I got to play it early because of the Kickstarter rewards and I must say, its as amazing as I expected it to be! Since its Kickstarter, I was prepared for everything, but the game is worth every penny. If you are looking for a fun, immersive puzzle adventure, go for it.

I have a predisposition for first-person puzzle games like this and have played many. I can honestly say it has some fun, well thought out puzzles. It’s not very long and the story isn’t all too interesting in my opinion, but there are a good amount of puzzles to break your head over. The time mechanic is used in different ways to keep you changing up your thought process on how to solve them. I do wish there were more of them as only one or two puzzles use the same mechanic, but I suppose less is more in this case. Sometimes the simplest puzzle is hardest to figure out, but leads to a new perspective necessary to beat bigger puzzles later on. If you like these type of puzzle games, I definitely recommend it.

The game is only a couple of hours long and half of that is very slow dialog. There was no option for remapping hotkeys and the invert mouse didn’t work for me. Parts of it were fun, but there was no point to it as there is no leveling or upgrades. Not worth anywhere near $20.

Couldn’t pass the second level cause I was unable to target the pillow and book on the ground to place them in the right spots. Targeting was off center and ruined the gameplay for me.

Super interesting. Didn’t quite get the story but I think it’s supposed to be vague in that regard. Really enjoyed the music, atmosphere and environment. I didn’t expect it to be inspiring but seeing the distant pink lights and hearing about an old family story really made me want to start brainstorming a new music project. I don’t know if any of these characters or events are real or based on real events, but I think researching it would remove its mystique, so I won’t. I played it again straight after finishing it (mainly because the ending dialogue cut out mid-way through) to see if there was anything I missed but I couldn’t find anything. A short fun little experience!

There’s a moment early on when you’re following the traditional walking simulator flow of moving from exposition drop to exposition drop that you’ll see something… weird.

And there’s a moment where you’ll get lost in the woods and stumble upon something unpleasant but unremarked upon.

And there’s a moment where you’ll realize something is extremely- well… the less said about it the better.

I really enjoyed this interactive story. The writing and voice acting is excellent and the level design is incredible. You won’t understand why I say that at first but… you will eventually.

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome

This game is actually V E R Y fun! Well, for me. I originally played AaAAaA!!! 3D on A10 so i decided to ask my dad to buy the game and we did and i fricken love it! So it has good graphics (If your PC/Mac/Linux can handle it, or you put it on low graphics) and also fun level design, good DLC, not alot of difficulty spikes, less sensitive to whack into a building, good controlls, and use of the wind and checkpoints UNLIKE reckless disregard for gravirty (Excluding Brutal Concussion) and its just a good game! I 100% Recommend it!!! Also the best part! The name! AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome!?! That name is easy to remember and awesome! (No pun intended) But some downsides are it removing some sounds and polishing things that Reckless has like the Kisses where it would fade not just blink. Also the sound for Spray Painting was just the Flip off sound and the spray paint sound but no sound that i remember from 1… 2… 3… Kick it (Drop That Beat Like An Ugly Baby) Also the texture quality is a little dated. And the glitch where the camera wont move. Also it should of been DLC because the Awesome Levels and the original campaign. However i still recommend it over Reckless Disregard for Gravity.

AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! ….For the Awesome, the Anti-Platformer!! In this game you will do all in your power to AVOID landing on them, as you leave every platform far behind!

I nearly made a mistake with this game (beyond thinking the dreadful title actually said something about the game, that is): I read the reviews. Then I read the awards it’s won. Then I considered the type of games I enjoy most: pinball, Puddle, FOTONICA. Flowing, limited control type games. Actually, the decision was easier with more information. And I made the correct one.

RICO: London

RICO: London

Rico 2 is a sequel to the first Rico that not a lot of people played, but the ones who did, did mostly enjoy. The game for me was and still is pretty fun for what it is and i do recommend it, despite a few problems that it carries.

In terms of story, it’s just like the first game (which means: SKIP). I like the art style, i think that real XIII style graphics (Cell shaded) are not used enough and i find it charming in this game, which also has a bigger verity of environments and a bigger attention to detail. sound design is nothing special, does what it needs to but nothing memorable.

Real player with 14.6 hrs in game

RICO 2: London has an amazing art style, a classic rogue cop premise and good voice acting. All of that is weighed down to its death by a boring loop system, the same soundtrack played over and over and over again, a needlessly complicated weapon system and enemies who are laughably bullet spongey for zero reason.

Don’t buy this game.

Highly recommend it.

Dont waste your time, wasnt expecting much since the game is free but it would be nice to actually be able to finish the game. Turning off fog was the only way to decently play the first portion and the end portion is unplayable like other reviews have pointed out.

Would Highly recommend! Great atmosphere, good story, and pretty spooky.

Glad I paid $1 or I would feel like I was robbed.

The game is small so I can’t give much detail without it being a spoiler. That said. The first play through is kind of interesting as you have no idea what you are looking for outside of gaining entry into rooms to ultimately escape the basement. I wouldn’t really call them puzzles to solve though. More like a scavenger hunt with a dying flashlight.

If you are into completion of achievements. This game is just monotonous in my opinion. I would have probably thought much higher of this game if not for the pointless achievements that make completionist feel compelled to clock more hours beating this random spawning object scavenger hunt with the gratification of reading a different news paper article on the closing screen.

TLDR: Grainy, Blurry, Dark. Keyfetch easteregg hunt on a 30 minute timer in small environment. Numbers and symbols puzzle annoying roadblock.

There are not nearly enough lore items to make this game recommendable. It is mostly just boring furniture and random kleenex boxes. The more interesting Satanic books and the occasional wall painting were alright.

The other easter eggs are small drivers license and little blurbs of printed text on sheets of paper. The multiple endings are just a different newspaper front page saying what the results of your escape from the serial killer’s dungeon were, which you can enhance with the police understanding the occult connection or even catching him.
